"We arrived with no tables available but after filling in the app we were texted minutes later to be invited in. Food was as expected. Tasty, but ridiculously overpriced. A modest burger, a handful of chips, coleslaw and a coke should not cost A platter consisting of a couple of chicken breasts, a pot of mash, some chips and drinks should not cost either. But we knew this before we went I guess Carrot cake was exceptional and servers very attentive, quickly bringing refills whenever asked Overall it was nice, but at for a modest meal and soft drink for I’ll not be rushing back."

"Myself and my partner visited this Nando’s on Valentine’s Day at around 3:30pm and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We were treated by a lovely young lady (sounded as though she was from Birmingham so she can be recognised by the store! . The lady informed us that there would be a 5 minute wait but we were seated almost immediately which was lovely. She then showed us to our table, and couldn’t have been nicer telling us how to order etc. unfortunately they had run out of chicken thighs, so we were unable to have our go to order (fino pitta 10/10!! . I then asked another young lady with blonde hair if we could have the fino pitta, with chicken breast instead of thigh. She asked her manager and couldn’t have been more accommodating, as they were able to do this for us! Both ladies checked on us several times to make sure everything was okay and we were enjoying our meal! To the two lovely ladies, who were working in the downstairs area of the restaurant at 3:30pm. Thank you for your kind hospitality and I hope your branch see this and reward you suitably for your hard work!! Xx"

"The food was, as always, excellent, but the real five-star experience came from the service we received from Aisling. Her service was outstanding. We live closer to the city, but we come to this location specifically because of the exceptional service, particularly from her. She is a tremendous asset to Nando's and deserves to be a manager if she isn't one already."

"We made a reservation for lunch, excited to try a festive menu, only to find out upon arrival that we should have pre-ordered the specific meal. This was never communicated to us, so it left us wondering how we were supposed to know. As a result, we could only choose from the standard menu, which was disappointing. However, the food was still quite good, and the staff were excellent—welcoming and friendly."

"This Nando's location was quite busy, and I had to wait 30 minutes for my food, which is typical for Nando's. The layout was also not very accommodating; I was looking for a table for one when I arrived..."

"I have been coming here for years, mostly during uni and now just returning for a couple of drinks. I believe there is some new staff that have started, on the whole they are nice, how we there is one woman who is extremely rude and condescending. She became abrupt and started calling me ‘darling’ in a patronising manner. I have since returned and witnessed her to laugh at me to her with her colleagues and be once again very rude. Very good pub apart from this unprofessional and immature staff member. She has dark curly hair, looks quite young and silly."

"This fast food restaurant offers no fancy decorations or extras. It's not suitable for a romantic date or a professional business meeting. The food is basic and you basically serve yourself."

"The staff here is fantastic! They are all so friendly, and I love chatting with them. It's not just about taking orders; there's a real connection. The pub looks great, and I can tell they’re getting ready for the rugby, which is wonderful to see as a rugby fan. They constantly bring in new products that are refreshing and give me the chance to try new things. Whoever is in charge should be proud of how things are run and how well the team performs."

"So we moved near here but due to lockdown spent months imagining what it's like. Now we've been a few times, great pub, lovely decor inside and great atmosphere. Reasonably priced for most drinks, and the burgers are great. They're not the fat juicy burgers I normally see, it was more reminiscent of a bbq burger and it was a nice change. Loved the smokiness of the patty."

"On a positive note, the mini bread rolls were fantastic! The macaroni and cheese was good, and my burger was delicious, with tasty chips on the side. However, I did have an issue with the children's meal we ordered. We requested chicken strips with cheese and a tiny portion of broccoli. Instead, we received actual grilled chicken breast, which wasn't what we expected for chicken strips. I personally enjoy this kind of dish, but children often do not, so it ended up going to waste. Additionally, the portion of broccoli was too small; there was barely enough for a few bites. Despite these issues, I would consider returning to the restaurant."

"Table booked for 5:30. It was originally 6 but due to a private event and having to leave at 8 the start time was pushed to 5:30. This was a Christmas meal and we had all pre ordered our food. The starters came at about 6:15. No major issues (vegan starters had to be requested as never showed up) Mac and cheese bites were great though. The main did not start getting put out until 7 which when you are having three courses and told to leave by 8 this is where things get problematic. The majority of the food was cold Luke warm and then they also ran out of gravy… weird when you have pre ordered all of your food. 7:30 and plates were cleared and desert brought out at about 7:40. This is where it was a diasaster. Some of the desert options were sold out… again when you pre order you kind of don’t expect this. Secondly, the deserts were a mixture of Luke warm and stone cold. The cookie apple pie. Some came out warm, some came out stone cold. The price for this was about £12 which you can’t complain too much but really, having the food you ordered and warm is kind of all you expect at a minimum."

"It's still a cheeky Nando's .. it's just different! No queues outside any more, instead you need to scan a barcode at the entrance to get your place in the queue and you'll be informed when a table is available for you. We had a...seat upstairs, the host told us to go upstairs and tell the greeter it was table 11 and left us to it, but when we got upstairs there was no-one there and table 11 was the first one, so we just sat down. There are now barcodes on the tables as well to order food. Just a note you need an account to order your food so it's easier to sign up before rather than doing it there. So, barcode food ordering. Even with a reduced menu, there's still pretty much everything you'd expect from Nando's to order from, not sure what was missing! I guess it's just a little anti-social, everyone's head in their phones whilst ordering, less conversation. The system all worked fine, orders are placed and food is brought over. I guess I'd prefer a little more interaction from staff as there was no-one to greet us at the table we weren't explained to how the drink refills worked, did we have to order on the barcode each time or ask someone in person with the same glass? We never found out. You're basically just left to your own devices, there's no interaction apart from when your food is brought to the table and you're asked if you need condiments. You don't see any other staff milling about and you there's no-one around to approach. Food wise, always a good standard from Nando's I had butterfly chicken, tenderstem, salad and split a spicy rice with a mate. All lovely food. They don't do balsamic vinegar anymore which was a shame. Like I say, it's Nando's, just different. Personally, I might just order online for click/collect or a home delivery next time."

"I've been going to Davy's establishments since 1984, and to this venue for years as it is a good position for a decent business breakfast. However, today's experience has incensed me. The fancy Twining's teabag just doesn't hit the spot, it doesn't deliver a decent morning cuppa, so today I asked for two teabags in my teapot. I had two pots. When the bill came up I had been charged for four. When I queried the bill the waitress told me that the manager had told her to charge double. There was no intervention at the point of order and explanation that a menu variation need a price adjustment. At the very least, it should have been explained on delivery of the bill so I didn't think that an error had been made. At £4.34 for a cup of tea including service charge I am not being petty, I just want the restaurant to respect my custom and treat me fairly and tell me the cost implication of my choice. Most of all, think about the ramifications of cheesing off a loyal customer by being cheap over less than 10 pence worth of teabags. It will be sometime before you might see me again I have a choice."
