3 of us and a dog were looking for lunch, this was the first place to welcome us all! Genuinely friendly staff, and a clientele to match, we ordered from the '2 for ' menu, steak and ale pie, and chicken pie, and Mac and cheese from the main menu, drinks and paid at the bar. The service was swift and the food was excellent. Thank you the Canute, we 'll be back!
