"Christmas Catch Up So we booked a little Christmas catch up for 15 people for Saturday 11th December. I booked online to reserve our able and book our food in advance. What was nice was that Emily also contacted me directly from the Goose just to ensure my food was ordered in advance and if I needed any more information on drinks packages etc. When we arrived we were greeted by Emily (nice touch) and shown to out pre prepared area which was lovely. The tables were set out with Christmas crackers and Santa hats and the buffet table was ready with cutlery and sauces. They asked when we wanted the food to ensure it was cooked and brought out when we wanted it and the chief (a lovely Irish lady, didn't catch her name) even popped out to make sure all was OK. For the amount of food we ordered (the silver buffet Christmas package) it was cooked nicely and warm. All the staff were absolutely lovely and really attentive (again special shout out to Emily, also to Robert) When we brought large rounds they brought them over to the table and made sure all was well. Great experience, everyone loved it. We've been visiting the pub for years, especially over the festive period and it was definitely the best experience yet"

Great pub and amazing staff! Me and my husband tasted many delicious pints and I hate to admit, we liked it better than our local in Essen (we are both from Germany). We’ll be back for more!

Always great atmosphere, nice staff and good drinks! On my birthday I had troubles to book online and I rang the pub and got table booked so easily and I enjoyed a lot. I love going there for a drink. No complaints!

This restaurant is a great spot to relax. However, I am disappointed that on Friday and Saturday nights, the lively atmosphere is lacking. It used to be that at 8:30, the lights would dim and the music would start, but not anymore.

nice pub. clean and tidy. the personal is friendly and efficient. I didn't give 5 stars because of the pub's atmosphere. in the inner is very cold and there are too many TV screens around all the time with some sport on it. not my cup tee. but still a beautiful place: .

my friends I met for drinks, and later I ordered to eat. the staff was friendly and we were quickly served. as a vegan, I was satisfied with the selection of available meals. we ordered the sharers and the portions were good. the atmosphere was beautiful, good music, so at a good night! also good value for money.

I’m not in Walthamstow often but came into the goose for the first time in ages. Loved it! Had a real good mix of people and the young man who served me was really nice! My dad liked Guinness and my peroni was exactly what I needed after a long hot day. We didn’t eat but there were plenty of people eating which is usually a good sign. Will for sure be back next time I’m in the area.

I and my friends have sung to the goose on Easter Monday. the personal and the atmosphere in the pub was good and the beer. we had steak and pine chips. but the cake was not very good I had to say it was very poor eating it cost us 7 pfund per for this price it was not very good was hardly any meat in the cake. everything was good for chips and the beer. I would try again to eat the other and still this beautiful Italian beer
