"The food took a very long time to arrive. The portion sizes were small. The food tasted ok but was not worth the high price (see below , especially since there's lots of cheap, good food in Leather Lane. The menu prices are misleading; it doesn't include the mandatory 12.5% tip. It's in very small print at the bottom of the menu and claims to be discretionary, but it's not they add it on when you pay without asking and yet their payment device still asks if you want to leave a tip !!! So, the cheapest main course listed as £17.50 actually costs £19.69. Also, they brought me chips with my meal which i hadn't ordered (so i assumed was included in the meal, so I ate them but later charged me £6.17 for them ! (Listed as £5.50 on the menu. The food was nicer and better value when this was a Thai pub. I won't be going back. My advice get some food in Leather Lane instead."

"Absolutely avoid this McDonalds at all costs. I don’t eat at McDonalds because the local ones are a disgrace but this morning I went there to get two breakfast meals because I was asked to. Firstly, got in the driveway at the speaker to be ignored because of the two lanes, they served two cars that arrived at the other lane after me while saying to me ‘I’m taking payment, I’ll be a minute’. Eventually placed my order for two identical bacon roll meals queued while cars areas were obviously waiting at the window for food so I waited a few minutes to pay and then at least 5 minutes went by while the car’s ahead of me waited, then the car immediately ahead of me, which was distinctive was asked to park up as they quickly moved through. Now this is why I don’t go to local McDonalds drive thru’s because this happens every time I drive a distinctive car, as does my other half and every single time we are asked to park up because they only ask easily identifiable cars to do they can keep the queue moving so as to not put others off from joining. You never see a silver Focus being asked to park up. So as a result you’re discriminated against because you’re not driving a boring ‘everybody’ car. So as you can now work out I was asked to park up I said politely that I’d rather wait as they’re not exactly special orders and I was in a hurry so didn’t have time and also their car park is atrocious and I’ve previously nearly been crashed into while waiting there. Their attitude was absolutely disgraceful with the shout of ‘He’s refusing’, to which I replied ‘No, I’m waiting here for what I’ve paid for, like others did and if rather not be ignored while you prioritise others’. Then the bulldog came over and barked ‘you have to park up’ to which I responded I really don’t, I’ll park here thanks. She then closed the windows and when she returned she had the money I’d paid, in cash, and said she would call the police if I didn’t move The absolute nerve of her! Because I had paid on card and know my rights I told her that if she was insisting on a refund then I would have it on the card which I paid which legally I am entitled to. She snatched my card, disappeared with it eventually returning with it I insisted on a receipt to confirm. Because she has disappeared with my card I have now had to cancel that card because there is no way I am allowing them to potentially steal from it because under no should she have taken it away like that. Seriously avoid this place the people are more disgusting than the food."

"I was in this McDonald’s and it was relatively busy but I won’t complain to much about that as I am a business woman and understand that in city centres like Glasgow this is to be expected. As I was waiting for my companions food I was holding my tray when a old small man cornered me and started to repeatedly tell me to close my eyes as it was very busy people were staring but not interacting, once I did not close my eyes he started pressuring my companion to tell me to close my eyes , obviously she declined , after much pressuring and cornering he stole some of my chips and ran. I was shocked by this happening as all the bystanders including ur staff didn’t intervene or help me in anyway. In past adventures to your shop I have seen children lighting fires and you have frequently not had things available like bakery items and sides. I have also had past experience from your toilets they are locked and there is no way to tell how to get in I have had to restrict my needs my rights because of a code in your bathroom. In conclusion I would just like you and your staff to be more aware of what is happening even if it’s busy and I would like an improvement on the toilets being locked and giving me a way to get in Kindness regards xx"

"They accept and even encourage orders through their app, yet they are unable to fulfill the orders. They do not notify customers of this when confirming the order. In my last order, I was missing an apple pie and part of my fries. Although I received the other items, such as a cheese dip and sweet chili dip, the experience was still disappointing. My advice is to check your order before leaving the restaurant, especially for sauces. On two occasions, I received food items that were not edible, such as the veggie deluxe and selected items that were overcooked and hard. The drivers who deliver the food are often rude and lack good hygiene practices. This review is disappointing, and I hope that the franchise owners take note and make improvements. I will continue to leave reviews on TripAdvisor, and I hope to have something more positive to report next time. On a side note, the McDonald's at Enstone Court has a 95% accuracy rate, so perhaps this location could learn from them."

"very poor service last 3 or 4 times that my daughter in law has ordered online for delivery for the whole family, the entire order was wrong, but if she ordered for herself, my son and big daughter there is no problem. last time my 5 year old big daughter happy eating was completely missing (the main reason for ordering at first place) and my daughter in law had to go to sort it so what was the point, even order online at first place. today my big daughter got her happy meal minus the burger in the so-called hamburger. special orders did have labels on, but what are good the labels when they are left blank! these are just some of the c**k-ups that have experienced my family loading from this. rant now to try to call them again and hopefully through how they never get the phone. Let's see if they do this time."

"I have Coeliac Disease which means I have to adhere to a strictly gluten free diet 100% of the time and although there are very limited gluten free options at McDonald’s in the UK for us coeliacs, I have to give a special commendation to Mya (Customer Experience Leader I believe) who made sure I not only had food options, but made me feel so comfortable and safe. She took ownership of my meal herself and went over and above what I usually experience at McDonald’s, such as putting on gloves to make my meal, making my chips fresh so they would not be contaminated by gluten-containing foods and packaging up mine and my partners meal in separate bags. I’ve never had this in a McDonald’s before, just usually given the allergen leaflet and fobbed off as they usually say they aren’t allowed to answer questions. She was so good at communicating all the steps she was taking to ensure I was safe. It was amazing service, and I’d really like to extend my thanks to Mya. Sometimes we just wanna have a McDonald’s and feel safe, and Mya made my week for sure!"

"I am extremely disappointed with my experience tonight at this restaurant. I placed my order through the app for a double Mcplant meal with only tomato, cheese, and lettuce on top of my bun and patties. However, when I received my order, I found that all the sauces, dill pickles, and onions were still on it despite my allergies. I removed these toppings, but to my dismay, they were still present in the burger. I am shocked and cannot believe this happened."

"This restaurant is consistently clean and well-organized. I usually place my orders through the McDonald's app, which is excellent and provides fantastic service. The value for money from the app's offers is great. The app is user-friendly, allowing me to receive my orders quickly. The food is enjoyable, and the staff is very helpful and friendly, always providing excellent customer service. There are great price promotions available as well. The food is delicious. I would highly recommend this McDonald's location to everyone."

"When I say the service was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable, its an understatement. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:45pm on 20/04/2023 and we were told at the drive through that they would be with us in a minute. A whole 15 minutes later, cars beeping at us we decided to leave. We were ignored, humiliated and I will NEVER take my custom to that restaurant again."
"Used to be great but now not so much. I work late on the weekends and usually finish early hours in the morning. On 4 different occasions I have given them a chance to redeem from the last but still it just gets worse and worse, long waits, wrong food and missing food, rude staff and no help what so ever after complaining. I know they use certain staff for the day time and for the evening so I’m not sure it’s a a general thing or just a nighttime things has I haven’t been in the day. Before the had renovated this site it seemed to be pretty decent and I could never say a bad thing but now it just seems that it’s all fallen to bits, poor management and all the staff seem clueless"

Even though they were about to open later, a crew leader came over when I mentioned that I had placed my order through the app. She consulted her shift manager and confirmed that everything was good to go. The team is not only friendly but also professional and hardworking. As someone who has previously worked in the fast food industry, I understand just how challenging the job can be, and I would genuinely give them a 5-star rating."

"Came in today at lunch before going kayaking with my family. We ordered all our food and 2 large colas 2 medium colas. When the food was ready the server walked past me with my food so I said that’s Mine ? (So he didn’t have to carry it anymore) he said it’s table 20s ? So off he went to an empty number 20 table then finally after walking after him he gave us our food after doing a mini keep fit class chasing him round McDonald’s…. To my horror! I got given 4 cans of cola for my 4 colas I ordered taking in mind i ordered 2 medium 2 large (different prices) yet get a can of cola ? Apparently something was up with the drinks machines? No signs up saying this to prewarn customers? No apologies? No refund? So if you buy a small cola you get a can? If you buy a large you get a can? Who on earth came up with this brain wave??? Totally unacceptable!! And to top it off I had two older members of staff on there “break” beside me and had to listen to them both nagging about staff and everything else …. I wont be back!"

"I don't mind waiting 5-10 minutes. It's convenience food, it's hard work and I understand it as an ex-mcdonalds employee. However when it takes that long PLUS they get your order wrong its just irritating. The food was still hot and the service friendly, but I should be able to trust that when my order is called I'm getting the food I paid for. I was supposed to get a double sausage and egg mcmuffin with extra sausage, no cheese or egg.... Instead of that I got a Breakfast Roll with Ketchup. I still got the correct drinks and sides but that means someone else also got part my order and not the correct part of their own."

"the staff here was fantastic. I honestly couldn't believe I was in a mcdonalds. a dame cleaning table was incredibly friendly and helpful when I had problems with my baby. someone else helped me when I tried but not to order table service over the machine. the command came fast, nothing lacked, friendly waitress."
