"I had been planning to return to this restaurant for a few years. I finally went back today and was pleased to find it empty on a bank holiday Monday for brunch. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was just average and our order was not quite correct, although we were slightly overcharged on the bill. There was no butter with the toast and no offer of condiments. The coffee was good and the staff were pleasant, but the service was only average. The prices were already high, but considering the location, they could have been acceptable with better quality food. What I found unacceptable was the 12% gratuity added to the bill. In summary, it was an overpriced, average cafe brunch in a great location. In my opinion, it could have been packed on a sunny bank holiday morning if the food had been better."

"First and foremost, the service was excellent! Our server was funny, friendly and attentive, really can't fault her at all! The food was decent. We started with the seafood platter and all was very tasty though a little sparse for the price. Would suit 2 or 3 people, but for 4 it isn't a lot. The fish and chips was met with approval, so was the seabream on specials. The roasted cod dish was very nice though perhaps a little fussy? Could probably do with one less ingredient as the fish drowned in the other tastes, but it was nice and the fish very well made. The ambience gets a downgrade as there were a table of influencers in the middle of the room with a great big portable spotlight (to better light the food they weren't eating until it went cold??? which was highly distracting together with their constant photographing. I wish the restaurant hadn't put them right in the middle of the restaurant, it was annoying. Other than that, the restaurant was lovely and does warrant a return visit!"

"I've eaten an all decent Viet restaurants in London and used to love Viet Grill, but my last experience was my last, arrived Saturday at lunch time, not too busy but as only two of us, got sat at a table against wall in rear of restaurant, really? Meanwhile there is a lovely bank of seat long rear of restaurant vacant except setting up for the staff lunch. I did manage a better table but ordering and then long wait for food, meanwhile the staff table began to fill up with food. It was 13:30, think you need to pay attention to customers food first. Finally ordered the Pho, no salad/bean sprouts/greens came. When I paid for the bill, the young lady said I had to request this if I wanted it with the Pho. Seriously? So service has gotten really poor and I won't eat here anymore, go to Tay Do, much better service and less expensive"

"An absolutely amazing restaurant. The staff and management are very polite, friendly and approachable. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, clean, bright and colourful. More importantly the toilets are very clean and fully equipped with toilet rolls and soap. Myself, my family and friends have never had a bad meal there. We always look forward to dining in Panas. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Twickenham."

"I was in the restaurant at several earlier locations and chose it as we have a gast from overseas that arrived first. Unfortunately, she was met by a frosty lady who told her that the table was not ready, although she had arrived on time. I'm coming up shortly and the same person accused me of waiting at the bar when the table wasn't ready. this is not my previous experience and all other employees were great. it was very disappointing to meet with such a gloomy, and not with my previous experience."

"I visited sushi wakyo for the first time on Saturday night. eating was great, I love Japanese and hadn't found one since gone from london. I have read some good reviews online and was not disappointed. the restaurant was full, so had a good atmosphere and had the people come to take away what I think is a good sign. the black cod and mini vulcano rolls were both delicious! the sushi sheets served other tables also looked really tempting. I didn't love the huh teriyaki because it was quite dry, but that was the only food negatiw. it is a casual place, but had a few people dressed and a few younger men with parents. the toilets were ice-cold and needed to be afraid, but not a big problem, and I will come again!"

"Special mention to Rahul, he was absolutely lovely and such a kind soul, he went above and beyond to ensure my sister’s graduation meal was comfortable and perfect. The buffet was so delicious and accessible, with a variety of both meat and vegetarian dishes which was exactly what my family and I were looking for. "Not impressed at all. Ambience was good as expected but the food quality and noise spoiled it all. The starters were burnt (literally burnt) which you would not expect from a restaurant of this stature. The mains were luke warm at best and of ordinary preparation. Hot toddy that I ordered was far too sweet!! I complained and the manager they didn’t charge for drinks but still disappointed overall. It was not the fine dining experience that we were hoping for."

"Good service with welcome recommendations from the very friendly waiter. Food was cooked and presented well. We were a table of four and all enjoyed our courses. Twelve and a half percent service charge was added to our bill which we were happy to pay but the waiter told us this did not include a tip for him??? "on Friday 23rd april, I have booked a table for six, they sent an email on the day before confirming my booking, but on the day when we called them to change our booking fo 5 they did not answer. when we arrived in the restaurant, it was completely decorated and closed. this was for a member of our party birthday and was really looking forward to sushi and now we had to find a place to eat even in the current climate on Friday at 6th, the other household in our group had traveled from south london for this birthday, so this is absolutely disgusting that they could not cancel before or any message at all. would not recommend to a friend and absolutely not come back. this is also an incident with open table, they must be taken by this app or checked because this is completely through the birthday plans and we ended eating somewhere very bad."
