"I visited sushi wakyo for the first time on Saturday night. eating was great, I love Japanese and hadn't found one since gone from london. I have read some good reviews online and was not disappointed. the restaurant was full, so had a good atmosphere and had the people come to take away what I think is a good sign. the black cod and mini vulcano rolls were both delicious! the sushi sheets served other tables also looked really tempting. I didn't love the huh teriyaki because it was quite dry, but that was the only food negatiw. it is a casual place, but had a few people dressed and a few younger men with parents. the toilets were ice-cold and needed to be afraid, but not a big problem, and I will come again!"

Eating is good value especially Bento Box. black cod is delicious. it should be better if the sushi rice is not so cold.

Great quality food ,large choice, good size portions ,have not found a better japanese restaurant. Excellent value for money. Chairs could be more comfortable.

we really loved her eating. we will come back, but a light criticism is that the areas that go to the toilet were a little scrupulous, but this willmot us from the return, when the food was excellent and the staff was good

another excellent meal, took great parents to dinner. juicy garnelen in a light tempoura battery went a tasty, and mushroom and truffle ribeye always a favorite. melt in mouth sashimi selection. I don't usually leave any reviews, but this restaurant is a little shady! View menu

amazing hidden gem near walton on the thames river side, fresh and beautiful presented fish and delicious meat dishes, especially recommend pork bell and dynamit salmon. with the lunch set menu it is also incredibly valuable! second time to visit and will be definitiw again.

a hidden gem that was just relocated from the high-level. we always have a great sushi wakyo good, varied menu and beautiful layout with small stands available. recommend the Tempoura-Aggies, takoyaki (pictured below) and the drachenrolle (pictured below). the ribs are also good!

In general, absolutely brilliant. The sashimi platter was unbelievable the quality was apparent in every bite. The lunchtime set menu two courses for 12 pound is not to be missed. Incredible value and everything cooked perfectly. The only criticism is that the dynamite salmon tasted almost overwhelmingly of pepper perhaps to someone's taste, but a shame to mask the taste of the salmon itself. View menu

An unexpected gem that served as the perfect spot to meet up with a friend on a day trip out of the city. The truffle beef was stellar. The toilets under refurbishment, which added a certain air of danger but I'm sure that will be finished soon. Thanks to our waiter who played along with us telling our guest to expect a high tech bathroombexperience like those you see in Japan when what was actually there was a building site. A very good sport!

Not having been before, we reserved a table for Friday lunchtime. No need, nobody else ate there but deliveroo were in and out all the time. The food was amazing, especially the sushi and sashimi. Offered fish not normally served in our local Japanese restaurant. Tempura was good. However, there was no heating and we froze. When we mentioned this we were told it was winter! I would love to eat here again but wouldn't book. If it was really cold I'd leave and eat at one of the many restaurants nearby. Or perhaps a takeaway.
