Tender grilled scallops seared to perfection, served with a zesty lemon-butter sauce and a sprinkle of fresh herbs.

"first, charm (or sounds like) seems to be one of these little Thai joints with not too much to expect when it comes to interior, however, step in charm, and they will find it to their feeling and more. it is beautiful in the apartment made, and although it is not really Thai aspect to decor, it is quite modern. they have a full cash at the entrance and it is a pretty sight my friend and I decided to go to our main course immediately as it was quite late. we thank our stars that this place was still open and served lunch at 15 o'clock, we were the only ones in the restaurant. I ordered for the rendang curry in pork (not the usual bark) together with white rice, and my...read more"

"Second time here and I must say still perfect. The staff are professional and polite. Nothing to much bother and made to feel welcome. We all had different items from the menu, and each was delicious. Too marks to the chef. Probably the best dinning experience for a long long time. Prices were more than fair for the quality of food and beautiful location. I’ve paid a lot more for really quite inferior meals. Well done all and keep up these fantastic standards. More than happy to pay for service here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Amazing place for fresh fish and drinks in the terrace next to Liverpool Street station. Good quality and value for price, very friendly and attentive staff, lovely and colourful terrace. Menu full of choices where everyone can find something for yourself. Gran platter, tuna tartar were just outstanding. Highly recommend!!"

"First and foremost, the service was excellent! Our server was funny, friendly and attentive, really can't fault her at all! The food was decent. We started with the seafood platter and all was very tasty though a little sparse for the price. Would suit 2 or 3 people, but for 4 it isn't a lot. The fish and chips was met with approval, so was the seabream on specials. The roasted cod dish was very nice though perhaps a little fussy? Could probably do with one less ingredient as the fish drowned in the other tastes, but it was nice and the fish very well made. The ambience gets a downgrade as there were a table of influencers in the middle of the room with a great big portable spotlight (to better light the food they weren't eating until it went cold??? which was highly distracting together with their constant photographing. I wish the restaurant hadn't put them right in the middle of the restaurant, it was annoying. Other than that, the restaurant was lovely and does warrant a return visit!"

"I've visited this restaurant several times before and decided to choose it again because we had an overseas guest who arrived first. Unfortunately, she was greeted by a rather unfriendly lady who informed her that the table wasn't ready, even though she arrived on time. I arrived shortly after and encountered the same staff member, who brusquely instructed me to wait at the bar since the table was still unavailable. This was quite different from my previous experiences here, as the rest of the staff has always been wonderful. It was disappointing to face such a gruff welcome, which was not at all in line with my past visits."

"An absolutely amazing restaurant. The staff and management are very polite, friendly and approachable. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, clean, bright and colourful. More importantly the toilets are very clean and fully equipped with toilet rolls and soap. Myself, my family and friends have never had a bad meal there. We always look forward to dining in Panas. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Twickenham."

"I've eaten an all decent Viet restaurants in London and used to love Viet Grill, but my last experience was my last, arrived Saturday at lunch time, not too busy but as only two of us, got sat at a table against wall in rear of restaurant, really? Meanwhile there is a lovely bank of seat long rear of restaurant vacant except setting up for the staff lunch. I did manage a better table but ordering and then long wait for food, meanwhile the staff table began to fill up with food. It was 13:30, think you need to pay attention to customers food first. Finally ordered the Pho, no salad/bean sprouts/greens came. When I paid for the bill, the young lady said I had to request this if I wanted it with the Pho. Seriously? So service has gotten really poor and I won't eat here anymore, go to Tay Do, much better service and less expensive"

"when it comes to comfort, you don't get much more comfortable than sitting at home in a miserable night that fucks in a few hearty curry while you see terrible television. Even with all the excitement of london at my doorstep, this scenario always proves to be a winner and I am sure that I am far from alone. everyone has a local hurry house they are not an iondoner without one and my is ghukhas on sydenham high st. with a magnificent menu of Nepalese inspired curries for over 14 years and price that represent decent, gurkhas sets his place as fixed favorite of se26. and with oriented like the rod lamb curry, monks mahcci and the ingenious go see podina curry (lamb...read more"

"This sushi restaurant is one of the best in town. It has an authentic, cozy and warm atmosphere with great attention to detail. The prices are very reasonable and you can tell the chefs take pride in their work. The waitress was friendly and attentive with a smile. Overall, I would rate this restaurant 10/10 and it will definitely be my go-to spot for sushi from now on. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5."

"White tablecloth, scrape the crumbs off the table kind of place, but not stuffy. You can still dress casually. Our waitress provided excellent service, and the food was very solid. We ordered a fish sampler for two (which was an appetizer platter), palak chat, dal makhani, and naan. It was a perfect amount of food for two. The tandoori salmon that was part of the platter was surprisingly delicious."

"We were looking for a short notice booking. We were lucky enough to find Sangam quite quickly on Trip Advisor. The restaurant is bright and welcoming, from the bright colorful décor and the smiles on the faces of the staff. The experience didn't stop...there, because the food mirrored the surroundings, fresh, tasty and more- ish.! Would recommend this restaurant for sure as would my partner brother and his wife."

"Had been looking forward to visiting the Brisley Bell for years and finally decided to book a celebration meal there. The setting is incredible the interior design is amazing. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. But sadly that was all let down by what we were there for the food. We were expecting something pretty special but found it pretty bland and uninspiring. The cod with new potatoes and broccoli in particular. It appeared to all be boiled with a packet mix sauce."

"My wife and I went here in the evening expecting a restaurant full of diners. Sadly we were one of only 4 tables being used which really flattened the experience. Music was very quiet and there was virtually no atmosphere. Our food came out far too quickly and, whilst I appreciate the kitchen was quiet, we could easily have been done in an hour which wasn’t what we were looking for. We have a young family so nights out are a rarity. Food was pretty good, service from floor staff was great but overall a disappointing evening. To be fair, we may have just encountered an unusual evening but I get the sense that the best nights here are when they have live music. This is one a month."

"I have been to the Beeston Lobster Pot, so I was expecting great quality but this still exceeded expectations. We ordered a few starters to share which we unfortunately forgot to photograph. They were all very good, especially the Haddock Chowder. For main course we ordered the Ultimate Seafood Platter which had delights of lobster, clams, crabs, prawns and oysters. The lobster had a choice of sauces and we had the cheese option this time. We enjoyed the evening tremendously, not only because of the marvellous food but also because of the magnificent service, which was friendly and informal, making things very comfortable. The overall cost is a little more than other restaurants but I feel that the quality of the food and the excellent service easily justify the extra cost. I have spoken to my dining partner and we will be returning to try other options."

"I came to this restaurant for my boyfriend's birthday, but unfortunately, we were both disappointed. The concept and decor were impressive, but the execution fell short. The service was slow from the moment we were seated, leaving us waiting long periods without drinks or guidance on what to do next. When we were finally given tasks to complete, we had to wait for ages for the headphones needed to do so, as there were only a couple of sets for all customers to share. Additionally, the "mission" cards were dirty and smudged from previous use. On top of that, when we were on our last cocktail (you are allowed 3 each), mine arrived only 15 minutes before we were told to leave the table, while my boyfriend's did not come at all. Despite prompting the staff 3 times, it was only when a particular staff member (wearing a flat cap) stepped in to help that we were able to get the drink, but by then, we were already asked to vacate the table and had to finish it at the bar upstairs. It might be more efficient in the future to assign specific staff members to a few tables each rather than having them spread thin trying to attend to all customers."

"we have booked the no12s freddie mercury tribute act and enjoyed every moment of our evening. the menu has been set, but it offered a selection of 3 starters, mains and desserts, which we could not mistake any of the courses. if they enjoy a loud energetic night outside, we would recommend no12s tribute acts and dinner!"

"The restaurant is a well-known English steak and seafood establishment with a fantastic menu and exceptional staff. The food was delicious and served promptly. Our server, Joseph, was professional and attentive. The only downside was that some of the leather seat cushions were in need of repair, which detracted from the overall elegant atmosphere. Despite this, I would definitely return and perhaps suggest investing in new seat cushions for an even better dining experience."

"Had an early dinner here with friends and a table at 5.30 on a Saturday so relatively quiet. This was great as it meant really good service sadly something hard to find post Covid/Brexit. I had the Devilled Whitebait (lovely) followed by Smoked Haddock bubble squeak with a poached egg which was gorgeous. Didn't leave a morsel. Absolutely recommend."
