"We were visiting a tourist attraction in the area and noted that the Bulls Head did food so we popped in. We ordered two cheese and bacon toasties which came with dirty fries with an additional order for a side salad. We waited 45 minutes and then approached the bar to enquire where our (very basic food was. I was advised that our order was being prepared next and the male staff member said we did warn you on ordering that food was taking 45 minutes . I replied that this had not been conveyed to us (as we would certainly not have continued with the order but found an alternative location for our snack . Satisfied that our food would be arriving immanently I returned to my table. I waited a further 25 minutes and returned to the bar to again, asking where our food was. I was advised that it was literally on it 's way out of the kitchen. So again, I returned to our table and true to his word, the food arrived, but it was NOT what was specified on the menu which had stated dirty fries (topped with bacon and chopped spring . Our fries merely had some sauce drizzled over. This was absolutely the last straw. I returned to the counter with the food and asked to speak with the Manager as I wished to have a refund as the food was not as specified. I duly got out my credit card (original method of payment but was immediately provided with a cash refund. I believe that the staff just wanted to get us out of the premises quickly as it was very obvious that we were far from happy. Luckily we are not local and therefore not likely to be in the area again but needless to say, if we were, we would certainly NOT be making a repeat visit."

"Very rude staff I visited here with a group of friends for Sunday lunch. We were four couples, and placed our food and drink orders via the app. The drinks arrived promptly. The problems started when the food was delivered. The male member of staff appeared carrying a tray of food and shouted across to us, asking if we had ordered food. I replied that we had. He then accused me of not having ordered food, and demanded to see my receipt. He stated that I apparently smirked at him and this indicated that I was lying about having placed an order! I then showed him my order confirmation on the app. It appears the meals he was carrying were not my order, but clearly would have been for one of my friends who had also placed an order on the app. We explain this to the member of staff. There then followed a ridiculous situation where he refused to tell us what meals he was carrying, even when we explained that if we knew which meals they were, we could work out who on our table the meals were intended for. We also pointed out that surely he would be able to see on the system that there had been four orders made for our table. The member of staff’s attitude was rude, bordering on aggressive. I’ve never experienced such poor service. Having ordered and paid for a meal, I do not appreciate being accused of lying. A female member of staff then appeared, looking very stressed. She was able to sort out getting the rest of our order to our table. The food was ok, although our starter were brought out at the same time as our mains. However, the appalling attitude of the member of staff completely ruined the atmosphere and experience. We just wanted to finish our meals as quickly as possible and leave. The shockingly poor attitude of your staff have now cost you 8 customers who will not be returning"

"We ordered a mixed kebab with garlic sauce and a shish kebab with chilli sauce, along with a side of chips. Garlic sauce contain more herb than garlic and as my pregnant wife is violently sick with most herbs apart from Parsley this was not a great experience, the shish kebab needed a bite compression akin to that of a great white shark in order to actually become remotely edible, I tried to chew a piece but I kept having flash backs of my grandparents telling me I could not leave the table until I had finished my piece of meat and I had to wave the white flag of surrender on this one, as I would still be chewing it whilst in my grave...... tough, raw and without a doubt inedible. I shall not mention the abuse from the man whom seemingly cooked the food( laughing out loud at this cooking malarkey) I know it is a common error but I am certainly not his friend as he suggested. On a plus side the chips were ok, crisp and hot. We complained to just eat( ironically named with the meal we couldn’t eat) and it will take up to 72 hours( farcical) when it takes 30 seconds for them to take your money. Rant over.... in short please give this abusive, unfriendly and kebab shop a wide berth as it is such a great display of just how not to give great customer service. It would seem that the customer is most definitely always wrong as the man whom cooked our food was just simply to busy and the owner apparently wa out delivering the “food”. As I am in Turkey next week I shall enjoy a seriously good kebab and make a point of calling the chef my friend."
