The atmosphere was vibrant and energetic, and I was quite impressed with the breakfast they served.

I ordered the BBQ mac burger, and while it was decent, it could have used an additional five minutes on the grill. The cocktails are pre-mixed, quite sweet, and served in half-pint glasses. I gave a rating of three stars for service solely because the young lady who brought us our food was very polite.

I haven't been in Yates for years. We went on a week day in the afternoon and it was quite busy. We didn't eat there but we had drinks. I was a little annoyed that I was the only person at the bar and then a young lady came along and got servered before me. Other than that it was quite a nice place for a pint. View menu

Always a good meeting point for me an the friends on a Sunday evening got my own usual drink (Kraken Coke), second round had the same but was introduced to a different variety of drinks and shot offers by the bar man (Wade) and sold me and my friends on 'Sheep Dog with Peanut Butter ' and there was 6 of us and would recommend his advice on other verities cocktails, shots drinks next time we come back.

The server, Kayley (I believe that was her name), was a bit lethargic in her speech, making it difficult to understand her. However, there was another young lady with colorful hair who also served our food, and she was the complete opposite—pleasant, polite, and friendly. On another note, I noticed two ladies at a different table had to wipe their own table down. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend eating here, and I suggest that customers carefully check their food before enjoying it.

Brilliant staff- I was served by Wade and young woman (25th July early afternoon). I was in to see the boxing, as soon as I asked, Wade went to put it on a screen for me, but turns out it was already on! I was then moved to a table with a better view. Food was great value for money and service was excellent. Good choice of lager but could do with better selection of ales! Atmosphere was lively enough for a Tuesday afternoon. Honestly the worst service you could get. 1st drink i bought the service was ok but rude barmaid. But when it should have got better it got worse. 2nd drink go to the bar and wait for over 10 minutes to be served. Not because its busy but because all the staff decided to have a social on the side of the bar, a massive group. I mean honestly customers walked out and even challenged the staff but no one cared. Very rude staff I visited here with a group of friends for Sunday lunch. We were four couples, and placed our food and drink orders via the app. The drinks arrived promptly. The problems started when the food was delivered. The male member of staff appeared carrying a tray of food and shouted across to us, asking if we had ordered food. I replied that we had. He then accused me of not having ordered food, and demanded to see my receipt. He stated that I apparently smirked at him and this indicated that I was lying about having placed an order!
