"We ate at this Chiquitos for the first time. I am Coeliac and have to be very careful that there is no cross contamination in my gluten free food. We were given a gluten free menu on arrival. Our waitress Sam was absolutely amazing and...did everything she possibly could to ensure that my meal was totally gluten free with no cross contamination, even checking my food and drinks choices against the iPad menu to be absolutely certain it is safe and personally washing my cutlery again before giving it to me to ensure it hadn’t accidentally come into contact with any gluten. The food was really good and we will definitely be back again soon. I wish that every restaurant was as careful and helpful as Sam was at Chiquitos."

"This is the second time I've been here and both times have been brilliant! Greeted at the door with a friendly smile and shown to our table with a smile on his face. Our waiter came to take our order and was also very friendly and polite throughout the whole lunch. Both times I've been here staff have been incredibly friendly, they are a credit to the restaurant! Our food came promptly and was delicious! The portions are a lot more generous than they look and we all left feeling very full and satisfied. Vouchercloud do a 20% off mains voucher on certain days which was valid on a Sunday so got £8 off the bill. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning!"

"I had an exhausting dinner that lasted three hours. It took over an hour for our food to arrive, and when it did, it wasn't what we ordered. I had to go to the kitchen myself to speak with the chefs in order to get our order corrected. Additionally, I had to return to the parking meter to add more money, as I had suspected that two hours wouldn’t be enough for dinner."

"Waited to be seated while 2 waitresses chatted while a queue was forming behind us Sat down at a table where there had obviously been a child as there were fries on the floor that were not cleaned up The waitress took our order and came back 5 minutes later as she couldn’t remember 2 of our drinks Waited 10 minutes for the drinks and 20 minutes for food The pasta had very little flavour but the garlic bread was nice,no bruschetta so maybe tell people that when you sit them down as 3 of our party then had no starters The drinks are the Maoist expensive on the coliseum and they are the only cashless restaurant there and encourage you to use the QR code in the table to pay to save them time,they don’t worry about getting a tip as again the only restaurant on the coliseum to add a service charge Definitely not worth the charge as service cleanliness and food nothing special"

"We made a reservation for 7:45pm, but called ahead to let them know we would be arriving at 8pm. They assured us it would not be an issue. However, when we arrived promptly at 8pm, our table had been given away. We did not have time to wait for another table, as we had already warned them we would be arriving late. Sadly, we left without having dinner. It was truly disappointing."

The only thing I was a bit upset about, was the fact that when u tip them via card payment they get 10 percent taken away and goes to the company. But if you tip them in cash they keep all of that. So next time I will definitely make sure I tip in cash. These servers are young just trying to make their way and i feel they should get all tips no matter what. "Me and my friends went today (11.08.18 around 6pm)to have a nice dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and ladies serving us on the day were really nice and helpful, especially one lady that we think was from Spain. Unfortunately the woman dealing with front of the restaurant was extremely unhelpful and rude. We waited for about 15min in front to be seated, them we thought that maybe we can just sit down, but we did ask a waitress if we can and she told us that we need to wait for the lady dealing with seats. I went there and said we we can get a seat for 3 people?, she asked do we have a reservation? I said that no and do we need one. She answered that it 's Saturday and we need a reservation. I got bit annoyed, looked around and said that they many empty seats, also asked her should we leave. She didn 't have the decency to look me in the eyes and answered since we already sat down, we can stay . This is highly rude and unprofessional customer service. I do know that this can be a hard and stressful job, but we all have a job and we need to deal with many difficult situations. I do know that the front lady is Polish, I am as well so I do understand the this she was saying. Whoever is a manager or owner should train the stuff how to treat the customers."

"visited this beautiful restaurant after buying a groupon deal. the employees were pleasant and attentive and advise us on some of the menu items. we have decided to have starter and net. the nachos with huh and chorizo was perfect and southern peaceful chicken strip with BBQ sauce was just as delicious. a classic barkburger with fries and red cabbage coleslaw was next door and tasted great and the chicken chanting fajitas salat was also beautiful. Unfortunately, the desert was not an option, as we were too full and had no place in which she was fit, the menu sounded appetit and we will have to visit again to try it out."

"We arrived at 2:30 PM and placed our order within ten minutes. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy at the time. By 3 PM, I inquired about the long wait for our food, but the waitress couldn't explain the delay. I had already prepaid to ensure we wouldn't be late for a movie starting at 3:20. By that time, my two children and I were becoming frustrated. Once again, the waitress was unsure why our food was taking so long. At 3:25, I requested a refund, opting to grab a snack at the cinema instead. The manager approached us and promised that our food was on its way. Just a minute later, it finally arrived. Unfortunately, the tacos were soggy, and the chicken in my salad was dry. We ended up feeling rushed to eat. I would advise avoiding this restaurant unless you're okay with waiting nearly an hour for subpar food."

"after placing out order we asked where our food was. The manager came and said he would look into this and get back to us. We never heard anything. The food finally arrived about min – after placing out order. After we...finished, we waiting for about another min. before the plates were finally cleared away. "I recently celebrated my grandmother's birthday here with my family. The service was a bit slow, but we did visit on a Saturday. The food was fresh and served hot! I really enjoyed my appetizers, the jalapeño poppers, although the sauce was a little too sweet for my taste—I have diabetes, so I have to be mindful of my sugar levels. I ordered the Texan stack burger meal, which was good, but I expected the burger to be a bit larger. I also loved the skin-on chips. Overall, my family and I had a great time!"

"Visited here just before Christmas with a friend. There were a couple of large parties in so as you would expect the service was extremely slow. eventually we ordered (the same thing chicken fajitas) and it arrived. None of it was sizzling but it tasted ok. Eventually we ordered a dessert and a coffee and then waited ages before getting the bill resulting in us being one the last to leave. The food was mediocre and the service poor. Early the next morning and for the next 3 days my friend and I suffered terribly with what appeared to be food poisoning. We had eaten the same and had both experienced the same outcome several hours later. Needless to say it spoilt the rest of our Christmas. My friend called Chiquitos to let them know what had happened and to see if anyone else had complained. Apparently someone was going to call back. They never did. Not sure we will be visiting this restaurant again in a hurry unless I want rapid weight loss"

"We stopped by for a meal before heading to the cinema and had made a reservation through an agency, but unfortunately, Chiquitos hadn't received the notification (a downside for Open Table). However, the hostess at Chiquitos was absolutely delightful and quickly arranged a table for us without any hassle. She made us feel very welcome, and the rest of the staff were also friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, and we experienced no delays, making it easy to enjoy our meal before the movie. I would definitely recommend it for a pre- or post-cinema outing. It had a lively atmosphere that seemed perfect for dining with friends. We'll definitely be back!"

"Absolutely disgusted with this place!! Arrived for our reserved table on time to be told they had given it away to a coach party! They seated us then made us wait whilst they sorted another table for our party of 8. Drinks were ordered and 5 of us were served while 3 of us had to wait until we reminded a waiter they had no drinks. We then asked if we could order from the kids menu for our 2 15 year olds who were with us and Cath who is not a big eater. We were told we were not allowed to order from kids menu as its only for up to 11 years old. Our food started to arrive at 9.25pm and 15 minutes later at 9.40 some of us were still waiting. Plates were served with cold food, items missing, sour veg and microwaved! When we asked to speak to the manager for the second time we waited 10 minutes before she came over and her first words were whats your problem now? . We told her we were not eating any of the food and would only pay the drinks bill as were unhappy with the service, the food and her lack of customer care. Rude pushy american who thought she would frighten us by threatening us with security if we did not pay full bill. Security arrived after we paid drinks and she told us we were barred feom fountain park. Not according to the 2 security guards we ain 't. In short,avoid this place like the plague!! Shocking service and no customer care"
