"Had a lovely meal here with my family. Lovely food at reasonable prices. Staff sat us down observing distancing and restrictions on at present. Food quickly arrived and was lovely and hot. Non spicy for me as i have sensitive pallet and like bland stuff but family love all the hot stuff. Food was tasty and moist. Bottomless drinks and bottomless ice cream are a must... yummy. X Toilets clean and well kept and checked regularly . Loads of parking on a timed basis so dont spend hours gabbing or a meal here then cinema or you may get caught out . X"

"We ended up here by chance having never been before. Will definitely be making this one of our favourites. The 2 and three course lunch menus were a lovely suprise from the usual choices. For starter mum and I had the spinach pancakes in a prawn and cheese sauce. Main for me was a whole grilled trout superbly cooked. Dessert was a really excellent cream caramel. The portions were generous. The staff were friendly and attentive. A total delight on a rainy day "

"I ordered delivery from this restaurant and unfortunately, it was a bad experience. The pizza we received was mostly just pepperoni with a few dried out burnt chicken pieces. There was very little cheese and sauce, leaving the base visible in some places. The nachos were overly sweet due to an excessive amount of sugar in the guacamole, and the sour cream tasted more like whipped cream. The carbonara was oily and lacked flavor, making it unpleasant to eat. The only decent item was the fries, but it's hard to go wrong with adding Parmesan to chips. Despite trying to finish our meal, we ended up with almost three full boxes of uneaten food from our £40 order. It was a disappointing meal and not worth the money."

"After placing my order I waited 1 hour 10 minutes before ringing to ask where it was. The rude girl on the phone told me the food was leaving now. I asked if there was a reason it had taken so long. The g8rl just said they were busy. I explained usually it's polite to let people know when there is a long wait for food. The girl didn't say anything and as I was talking another girl came on the phone asking what the problem was in a very rude manner. I reiterated what I had just said and all she has to say was well what do you want me to do about it. I asked for my food to be cancelled and I won't be ordering again. 10 minutes later the food arrived at the door. We explained to the delivery driver we didn't want the food. He didn't understand is very well so we paid for the food and said thank you. Our food was just about warm and looked like it had been sat there awhile. I rang back to explain and the girl proceeded to tell me she had looked on the system and it had been 1 hour and 5 minutes since i placed the order when I rang to ask where my food was and not 1 hour 30 minutes. By now I was getting extremely agitated by the way it was being dealt with. I was then placed on hold with no warning. I told the girl once I got off the phone after asking where my food was till the delivery guy turned up it had been nearly an hour and a half. I wasn't prepared to argue with her over the time when I rang to ask why my food was so cold. Really bad customer service, really bad food and I most certainly won't be ordering from here again. Disgusting."

"All SINGLE TIME I command something I have that the driver phones me and said they can't find my house and EVERY SINGLE time I put in instructions. I don't know why they make it so difficult. I tell them that there is a hint of directions, and they just said, yes, yes, yes, well by phone, if I ask them if they even read the note as they 't handle being wrong. When I tell them the instructions on the phone, they don't listen and start being naughty. Had enough and didn't want to order again. Strange."

"Absolute worse Chinese I’ve had. I’ve ordered before a good few times and it’s usually fine. Tonight, they served a slice of pork in our duck and plum to someone who doesn’t eat pork. Ordered a king prawn black bean and they give us a seafood one with no prawns and the person is allergic to shellfish but she didn’t care on the phone. Could have been a very difficult situation. Mixed starters were incorrect and over cooked the ribs were unedible. All meat In the food over cooked and chewy. They didn’t care when I rang, wanted to re deliver but I said we can’t as we are going to the theatre we can’t all sit down to eat again hence why we ordered early. When I asked to come and collect it and bring my money she suddenly had no drivers, but was able to give me new food very quickly in our conversation. Absolute liars and terrible service. Will never use again it was disgusting. The chips were cooked about 6 Times over. Food has gone to the foxes I bet they can’t stand it either. I wouldn’t write a review usually slating but the fact they lied and couldn’t be bothered to help"

"The food at this restaurant is amazing, with a great selection of pizzas that my kids loved. The crab linguine was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The service was top-notch, and we had a wonderful dining experience overall. "We were welcomed with delectable bread and dips, setting the tone for the meal. The Parmah ham tigelle was a standout, reminiscent of the best ham and cheese sandwich. The crispy socca was akin to solid, torn crepe, and the roasted panisse were like chickpea fritters that resembled chips. The buffalo mozzarella salad was above average, although the addition of sardines would have enhanced the dish. The octopus and sweet potato salad was a well-executed interpretation of a common dish, while the wild mushroom and ricotta ravioli burst with mushroom flavor. The Trofie pasta with genovese pesto was simple yet well-executed. The artichoke risotto was sufficiently cooked, with a strong artichoke flavor, although the combination with Parmesan was a bit peculiar. The sage parmesan gnocchi was slightly gummy and lacked depth in flavor. The Riviera-style John Dory was well-cooked but could have benefited from more seasoning. The veal fillet with asparagus was a basic yet well-prepared dish, with a flavorful reduction and perfectly cooked meat. The Gianduja palet dessert was dense and balanced in sweetness, bitterness, and nuttiness, with stellar ice cream. The service at Rivea is of Michelin quality, and the overall dining experience exceeded expectations. It was a very good, reasonably priced meal."

"En route to a blues concert at the Edinburgh jazz festival,I decided to drop into this establishment for a quick bite before boarding my train.I had a First bus ticket with a burger king special offer of a burger and fries for printed on...the back.After waiting mins in a long queue which the usual assortment of teenage deadheads staff obviously couldn't cope with I was informed that they did not participate in these offers.The obvious question was why?She brought me the manager.He said that they were a different company and pointed to a notice stating no participation in offers which admittedly i had missed.Still the problem remained.How are they a different company when the place is emblazoned with Burger KIng logos everywhere.Time was short now and the queue time i'd waited had already made a mockery of the phrase Fast Food So, i asked him the price of a normal cheeseburger and fries and he replied i'm really confused as i can see no point in the offer at all.Whole debacle a complete and utter waste of time.The burgers are of a poor standard anyway and in no way resemble the burgers illustrated in advertisements.I ended up with indigestion as i had to gulp the whole thing down in order to catch my train.WARNING- this eatery has absolutely no toilet facilities either.Isn't there a law about that? Result:whole experience a disaster."

"This was one of the most disappointing Afternoon Tea experiences we have ever had. Previously enjoyed include The Dorchester , Claridges and The Atheneum. We chose this place for its proximity to the theatre we were attending. All good on arrival, very pleasant staff and nice table beautifully set. Ordered Coronation Afternoon Tea. From the menu I chose Breakfast Tea and my husband Camomile Tea. Booking was 16.45 and tea was served at 17.30. The Tea! Sandwiches well presented and tasty. Scones were crisp and over baked. Cakes tasty however no Choux buns as advertised. There was no offer of any replenishments by staff for tea or food. I asked for some more sandwiches and was served one single solitary finger sandwich. Finally, never before EVER have we been charged a supplement for our choice of tea! Our last Afternoon Tea was at The Milestones Hotel in Kensington that was absolutely drawer. The Brumus was by far the most unmemorable!"
