"Absolute worse Chinese I’ve had. I’ve ordered before a good few times and it’s usually fine. Tonight, they served a slice of pork in our duck and plum to someone who doesn’t eat pork. Ordered a king prawn black bean and they give us a seafood one with no prawns and the person is allergic to shellfish but she didn’t care on the phone. Could have been a very difficult situation. Mixed starters were incorrect and over cooked the ribs were unedible. All meat In the food over cooked and chewy. They didn’t care when I rang, wanted to re deliver but I said we can’t as we are going to the theatre we can’t all sit down to eat again hence why we ordered early. When I asked to come and collect it and bring my money she suddenly had no drivers, but was able to give me new food very quickly in our conversation. Absolute liars and terrible service. Will never use again it was disgusting. The chips were cooked about 6 Times over. Food has gone to the foxes I bet they can’t stand it either. I wouldn’t write a review usually slating but the fact they lied and couldn’t be bothered to help"

The staff at this restaurant are friendly and helpful, especially towards children. They offer delicious vegetarian Thai curries and vegetable chow mein. The prices are great and the takeout service is quick.

I am very particular about the food that I eat. I can honestly say that this is one of the best Chinese restaurant/takeaways that I have ever tasted. Always great produce, and very fresh. Also, the staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

This Chinese takeaway in Gravesend is one of the best. The food is consistently hot, fresh, and full of delicious flavors. The staff are very polite and accommodating. I highly recommend trying the salt and pepper chips, deep fried mushrooms, and onion rings as side dishes!

Absolutely awful experience from Thumbs. Ordered from Uber Eats, completely messed up the order. Phoned four times, and just kept saying ‘it’s on its way’. Over an hour later the missing food never arrived. Awful service, and will avoid in future. Don’t waste your money or time. Wish I read reviews first.

As our usual takeaway was not taking orders tonight, I thought we'd give Thumbs a try. Best take away we have had in ages!!!!!! Slightly dearer than usual but the food was absolutely fantastic, we will be buying from them again. Delivery service was very good, and very cheerful, just what you need in lock-down doldrums, made our evening, thank you.

I command this place at least 2-3 times a week and had no problems being honest. I command over eat and sometimes it is within 10 min and its always hot. I usually get the spicy special know-how, chicken balls with curry sauce and prawn toast. everything is delicious, except the chicken balls could do with a bit more huh in them as they are quite expensive and its most battery.

I would strongly advise against ordering from this restaurant. The food we received was absolutely disgusting - the noodles were burnt and dried, and overall not fresh at all. When I called to complain, I was brushed off and told that no one else had complained. Save your money and go elsewhere, as the food quality here is terrible. There was no care, no apologies, and no refund offered. We ended up throwing all the food away and going to KFC instead. Stay away from Thumbs Restaurant.

Ordered pork chow mein and house special chow mein on Uber eats, food turned up in a reasonable time but the pork chow mein was totally devoid of any moisture, it was just like strands of rubber on the plate, couldn’t chew through the beef in the house special had to give up and spit it out in the end. Called the restaurant but they couldn’t be bothered in the slightest, they refused to either replace the food or give us a refund so now have complained to Uber eats. Do yourselves a favour, if you want a nice meal don’t order from here.

"I 'm not a vegan, hell I 'm not even vegetarian but that doesn 't mean you can 't eat vegan food and I do enjoy eating v/vg food regularly so my review is from the viewpoint of someone that simply looks at this type of food as, 'is it objectively good? ' rather than comparing it to meat alternatives because frankly you can get two drastically different pork sausage rolls so comparing vegan to meat is the wrong way to look at things imo. I 've been to Vegan Antics three times and tried their cupcakes, biscuit slices, sausage rolls, pasties, paninis and jacket potatoes. I have to say that I have broadly enjoyed everything that I 've tried from there. The tuna mayo jacket potato the first time really was excellent both in terms of flavour and texture and the pasties are soft, flaky and comforting. The biscuit slices were really good and the only items we were indifferent about were the cupcakes where the sponge had a slightly unusual flavour to it but this could be a one off and we 'll certainly try them again. I do plan on trying their other offerings such as the freakshakes and hot dog so I will update my review but overall I think it 's a great cafe offering excellent vegan food. Slightly marked down on service as whilst the staff are lovely and informative, it was quite a wait for my food despite pre-ordering but it looked like that might be down do the capacity of the equipment as opposed to anything else."
