"My daughter just bought a pizza from Pizza World Bracknell, through Just Eat. I cannot begin to tell you how awful the pizza was. I took one bite, chewed, then spat it put. I thought perhaps it was just me, but no, my daughter did the same. My daughter called Pizza World and got nothing but abuse. Could not believe the abuse and aggression from Pizza World. "The pizza I had last night was the final disappointment at this restaurant. I have always been a fan of Papa John's pizza, ever since my first bite at the Holburn street location. However, the franchise on Great Northern Road does not measure up to its sister store. I ordered an XXL pizza, jalapeño bites, a Pepsi, and 5 dips (sour cream). Unfortunately, the pizza was cold, the jalapeño bites were frozen, and the dips I received were the unpleasant garlic ones. To make matters worse, they are now charging 50p per dip, so receiving the wrong ones was a major letdown. I called to address the issue with the dips before realizing my pizza was cold, and asked for the correct ones to be sent. The person on the phone said they would ask the driver but hung up before confirming the address. As expected, the dips never arrived. I have encountered several other problems with this restaurant, so I will not be returning. Papa John's, you have lost a loyal customer. It is important that you address the issues with your franchises that are tarnishing your reputation. A label on the box guaranteeing quality means nothing when the pizzas are consistently cold and taste terrible."

"I have always frequented this restaurant with only a few minor issues. However, last night we placed an order and I specifically ordered a doner burger meal that was supposed to come with a choice of chips, curly fries, or wedges, and a drink. I chose curly fries. When the food arrived, there were no curly fries. I tried calling multiple times but was met with a constant answering machine. When I finally spoke to someone, they were rude and insinuated that I was lying, despite the fact that I had paid 5.99, which included the curly fries (I will attach a screenshot as proof). After about 10 minutes of arguing, the person said they would send out the fries, but they never arrived. I couldn't get through to them again. I will never patronize this dishonest and rude establishment again. It's time to find a new place to spend our money, as they do not deserve it."

"I made a reservation two months in advance, but when we arrived on time, they told us they couldn’t find our booking. Instead, they allowed a party of six without a reservation to enter. Even after I showed them my confirmation email, they informed us there was no space available. Just when we were about to leave, they somehow managed to find some emergency chairs and seated us right in the middle of the restaurant, despite many empty booths and tables scattered around that remained unoccupied throughout the entire hour we were there. Overall, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone."

"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The service was shocking and absolutely dreadful. I used to order takeout from here frequently, but in the last few months, the pizza was always undercooked and had very little toppings. I decided to give them another chance and placed an order for iftari at 8pm, but they changed the delivery time to 9:20pm without informing me. When I called to inquire about the delay, the person on the phone said she was also fasting and that I had to accept the new timing. When I asked for a refund, she hung up on me. I called back and spoke to multiple unhelpful staff members, including a woman who claimed to be the manager named Nosh. She was no better and provided poor customer service. The lack of professionalism and rudeness from the front desk staff was shocking."

"I watched one staff member hand-tossing dough, then answer the phone and return to hand-tossing dough without washing his hands. Meanwhile, another employee was putting dough onto a pizza dish and coughed without covering his mouth. Another employee entered the store. As he walked past, there was a very strong stretch of body odor. He dunked his hands in what appeared to be be a bowl of water, wiped his hands dry on his T-shirt and went to work rolling out and hand-tossing dough. No one was wearing masks, gloves, or hair nets. This particular facility has a #2 health rating. I'd hate to see a #3. And the pizza? Meh."

"Got a brochure through the door offering buy one get one free by inputting the code online. Ordered two pizzas from my local Domino’s (Whiteladies Road) but there was nowhere to input the code and I was charged full price. Rang the store and complained and the chap I spoke with, Dharan Nair who said he was the regional manager apologised and said he was cancelling the order as I had requested and processing a refund as we spoke. That was on the 27th of September and still no refund, despite assurances. In my opinion Domino’s are guilty of false advertising and obtaining money by deception. Beware!"

"This restaurant is very convenient for me because they serve food during early hours when I am most hungry and eager to eat. However, once the hunger subsides, I realize that the food is not very good. The chicken pieces have an unpleasant taste and are often undercooked. The masala fish pack is decent, but only if it is freshly made. The fries are oily and sometimes cold, so I usually discard them. The pizzas are mediocre, neither good nor bad, but I suppose I can't be too picky considering limited options in Perry Barr in the morning."

"I brought my girlfriend here for a Valentine's Day dinner. We were looking for a local option in North London. It was a fantastic evening overall, with generous portions of food. "I ordered peri peri chicken, but it was just a small plain piece of chicken with supermarket bought peri peri sauce poured on top. The chicken is supposed to be cooked with the sauce, not poured on top afterwards. The chicken tasted like it had been left out for days. The salad was barely fresh. You would n't even feed a dog that meat, never mind a human. That is how sick it was. The meal was supposed to include grilled corn, but did n't. If you don't have what is listed on the menu, why not say, instead of stealing money from a customer. At £18, the same meal and drink would have been both edible and half the price at the wetherspoon's. Why the bar staff could n't check what was being served, ask me about the meal or check-back was a disgrace. The staff only want to deal with white people. I won't return to this venue."
