"The general manager on the day was rude and made us feel very unwelcome. We were late and we knew that we would be cutting into our eating and drinking time but let the restaurant know and they were fine. When we turned up we were made to wait around 10 mins before being told we are not allowed to complain, ask for a reduced price or ask for it to go on Longer than our slot. We was not planning on doing any of this but wasn’t sure why we were being briefed it really put a downer on our day. Dominic however was an amazing waiter and really made us feel comfortable it was a shame that the general manager made sure everyone felt very uncomfortable."

"An amazing bar (my favourite here) at Gleneagles. Michele Mariotti runs a very attentive, super friendly, professional, and welcoming bar. The style and layout of this bar are beautiful. Lots of space and very comfy seating. There is a great view looking out to the grounds whilst we enjoyed the most amazing service and cocktails. We loved this bar so much, what a treat! "My experience at the restaurant was disappointing. The food was subpar and overpriced. To make matters worse, our waitress started crying and was eventually replaced by a waiter who tried to push drinks on us at 10 o'clock on a Sunday. The music was excessively loud, creating an atmosphere more like a bar than a dining establishment. Additionally, the restrooms were not clean. Overall, I cannot recommend this place."

"The food was excellent, but we will probably not go back when we hear that the service has improved. Our table was booked for 7.15 a.m. and we waited one hour before our order and then another hour before our food. To be fair, some of our party came 15 minutes too late and we apologized, as we know that this can cause problems for the staff. However, we would have estimated an explanation or apology for the delay. When our dessert menu came, we all felt that it was too late to eat one so we did not order. It was a shame when we all agreed that the food was excellent."

"yesterday evening with my partner here. once again amazing eating, a Christmas touch on the menu. loved the butternut squash suppe, which was introduced again, we were told due to popular demand. my partner had the lachs gravlax I also tasted and was amazing. the turkey and the pan roast salmon was delicious. we had christmas pudding and the egg custard tart, who was chewing was personalized. my favorite desert here is the salted caramel tare, which unfortunately did not stand on the menu. I hope they'll take it back soon. again great experience with the quality of eating, wein and fabulous service from the front of the house and well looked after by rob the manager. will return and be recommended. - aazing!"

"the first time in the red bar for my friends birthday parties and absolutely loved. there were 4 of us all the girls and the venue had a great relaxed mood. we had a live jazz band that introduced old classics from frank sinatra to mac the knife to bring us all into the party mood. fantastic service and a beautifully designed bar. I would recommend 100% to go here for some pre-party or early afternoon drink"

"believes the hype! went to dishoom with a group of 7 was unfortunately not able to book a table. the employees were however accommodating and we were glad to wait, which took much less time than expected. in any case recommend to go early in the afternoon if they have no booking. the eating was extraordinary, we tried to taste as many dishes as possible and the hangings were easy the house black dahl and the huh biryani. Although we were not left off by a single dish. the prices are reasonable and the staff was excellent and very attentive. the restaurant itself is beautifully presented with many fascinating sights and berths. dishoom is certainly not one to miss!"

"Splendid visit in every aspect. We arrived early for our reservation and were directed to the library where we were served drinks. The menu was à la carte but we were informed this is due to change in the next month or so. We had complementary canapés and warmed bread rolls whilst waiting for the first course and mini sweets to accompany the coffee at the end of the meal. Wonderful ambience, attentive staff, terrific comfortable venue, delicious food."

"I was surprised to see only six types of tea on offer; after having attended almost all afternoon teas in London, I expected at least ten selections. When our afternoon tea was served, we joked about getting free refills, but she clarified that there was an additional charge for extras. I was shocked, as I've never encountered that before. Overall, this experience didn't feel worth the price, and there were no themed cakes as advertised. We received three sandwiches each, a tiny prawn cocktail in a shot glass, two scones each, and a small plate with four plain cakes that had no connection to the toyshop theme. This was the most disappointing afternoon tea we've ever experienced."
