"Dining Experience: Dinner Cost per Person: £10–20 Food Rating: 3/5 Service Rating: 3/5 Atmosphere Rating: 2/5 I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner, and overall, my experience was average. The pricing was reasonable, falling within the £10–20 range per person. The food was satisfactory, earning a rating of 3 out of 5; it was decent, but nothing particularly stood out. The service was also a 3 out of 5—adequate, but not particularly attentive or memorable. Unfortunately, the atmosphere left much to be desired, with a rating of just 2 out of 5. It felt a bit lacking in ambiance and energy, which detracted from the overall experience. While it was a decent meal, I likely wouldn't rush back for a repeat visit."

"Visited this place, had about £300 to spend here as needed to return with an empty boot to fit the items, while I was here I asked if I could use the customer toilet as i have a medical card for emergencies, showed to a member of staff (he was the owner) and he rudely refused saying no as your not eating at my restaurant go elsewhere. In reply to the owner. You know too well that your reply is a lie. I showed you my medical card on my phone. Its a shame you 're not as helpful as other staff as you 'd have alot more returning customers and a lit less complaints of how rude you are"

"I never leave bad reviews unless I'm totally disappointed with what I've paid for. If somewheres busy and service is slow I wouldn't complain if the foods nice. Being very local to this establishment we have been looking forward to visiting and we're going to take the whole family. I'm glad we didn't. Tonight, I'm left after one bite of the snowdon burger and felt like i was going to throw up. im back to my base now and feel so sick. My burger had the look and consistency of tripe on a bun. My carrot starter soup came out as thick chicken jelly in a bowl. I had one spoon that I shamefully had to spit into a napkin, so I just ate the bread I looked like slime. a can of heinze soup would have been more of a treat My husband had fish and chips, which did look lovely he ate it all. His soup was the same as mine. The decor, lighting infact everything about this establishment, let's it down. Which is a massive shame because the location is perfect. I wouldn't say I had an off night of bad service or chef. I'd say the food produced is cheap and nasty and cost us £70 to come home hungry and feeling sick. I will never come here again. I wouldn't have complained because everyone was local and all huddled around the bar, so I felt intimidating to make a complaint Please take my review as not a dig at your establishment, but as someone who really wanted it to be nice, a place we could go for food for all of our days. Disappointed to say the least Price per person: £60–70 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1"

"A bit disappointed. I was expecting more based on the reviews. The quantity on each of the meals is poor but the quality is even worst, usually turkish are very tasted, nice and soft chicken and lamb, these were not even average. It was the worst turkish we have ever tried and we have tried many. The other thing I'd like to highlight is the cleaning, the toilets and the restaurant in general are not what you can expect in terms of cleaning."

"We called the restaurant 2h before as we were visiting a friend close by and they managed to get us is! I am so pleased to have visited this restaurant! The ambience and decor is great and this is equally matched by the friendly and attentive staff. We chose the squid and olives for nibbles (no pic, we ate too quickly) the squid was the best! We then enjoyed the burrata, soup and goats cheese. The burrata was a very large portion and I was unable to finish it lovely all the same. We then all ordered the Sirloin Sunday roast, and WOW this was one of the best Sunday roasts we’ve had. The slices were like steaks, there was a great variety of vegetables and we struggled to leave any! There was a little while of a wait between starters and mains and it would have been nice to have been asked if we would have liked any more drinks in between this. However, they were busy and it’s not deterred me from returning. The prices are on the higher side but this married up with the quality. Thank you and I look forward to coming back!"

"We turned up here just after lunch service for food had finished. We were starving. We had drinks and a packet of crisps in the beer garden. It was so lovely an afternoon we stayed for another couple of drinks and then the chef came back from her break and offered to make us a meal. Fantastic service. We both had the Wagyu steak, it was beautifully cooked and I would go back for more. We also had bottle of wine, couldn't fault the quality. Staff were lovely and we were made to feel very welcome, including our dog. Thanks for a lovely afternoon"

"Wow, what a fantastic renovation! I stopped by on Horn Dance day (September 11th) and was thoroughly impressed. I’m back for lunch now to explore a bit more. The Goat has the sleek and polished ambiance of an upscale city center pub/bar, yet it retains the warmth and friendliness of a great local spot. The new owners are dog enthusiasts, and they even have a refreshment bar for dogs! The outdoor entertainment on Monday (Horn Dance day) was exceptional, and I can’t wait for the next event. Today, I tried their cob meal deal for a quick pub lunch, and it was delicious. The Goat's Head is open from 11 to 11, so I’ll definitely be returning to sample the evening menu. I absolutely love it!"
