I particularly appreciate the clear and friendly service provided by the woman who answers the phone. She makes ordering a pleasant and efficient experience, which is important to me as I can get impatient with phone conversations. There have been times when I have requested special dishes and she has always been accommodating and helpful. The quality of the food is consistently excellent and I am always satisfied with my takeout orders from Rainbow Garden. The quick delivery time is also a huge plus, with my food arriving at my door in about 20 minutes. If this takeaway shop ever closed, I would be truly disappointed. "Right so I’ve ordered fish and chips for the office, we waited until the time slot and nothing, we gave it 5 mins and called them, and then repeatedly called them for the next 30 mins. Finally after an hour the food arrives, stone cold,...soggy and covered in condensation. I’ve called them again and she offered me a half price refund. I explained it was going straight in the bin. I was offered a full refund, gave them My card details and instead they charged me again. I was left, hungry and angry. They have no customer service, and they’ve not attempted to compensate me for this shambolic experience. Save your money and go to Churchill’s"

"We enjoyed a delicious meal with excellent attentive service. Prices are little higher than your usual local Chinese restaurant but very well done. The squid appetiser was unfortunately very dry and lacking in flavour but everything else we had was great. Good ambience with several birthday parties being quietly enjoyed around the dining room all of which created a pleasant buzz. The staff are very friendly and personable, will go again."

"Very poor. More like a takeaway with tables. Didn’t have the options advertised on their website. Order via a QR code and pay upfront. No waiting staff- just servers. Food took half an hour to come and it all comes at once (starters mains) and then the drinks came after. Food was edible but nothing special. Toilets weren’t clean. I will never go back"

"Went as a group of 8 for a family meal when we had visitors. Service was great, we asked for some recommendations for non spicy kid friendly dishes and there were lots. The kids ate well, as did the adults! Food was cooked to order, was all fresh and excellent. Visitors were impressed (especially after having a substandard meal in Chinatown earlier that day). Highlight dish was the recommended fish slices with pickled mustard and vermicelli which came in a large soup bowl for sharing. Tangy, sour, spicy (fresh ginger) yet gentle and comforting. The menu is well worth exploring further on our next visit!"

"Last night's takeaway was amazing! The prawn toast in the starter, perfect. The ribs, perfect, the spring rolls, extra crunchy and by far the best I'd ever had. The chili chicken main was incredible. You guys are by far the best Chinese takeaway in Derby and probably the whole of the Midlands. You deserve more credit, the extra steps you go to do not go Unnoticed because I recommend you to pretty much everyone. PLEASE keep up the great food and don't let the standards slip."

"Hello we have been loyal customers of the Good Erath for many years and always like it a lot. the food is still good but a few things have changed, normal i suppose, but still good. the service has never changed it has always been excellent and very courteous and still is very very good. this is the second time i write a reviews for this restaurant and I have to say my only concern as last time is the cost that has gone stratospheric it is TOO Expensive and there no incentive like a loyalty card for future visit discounts. we will still visit and eat at the Good Earth but not as often as we did in the past. thank you Georges Marie Khachfe"

"Firstly, its not just a Chinese restaurant..... you can buy a whole range of oriental and spicy dishes.The service is exemplary, it even makes me smile upon leaving the the matredee (sp) always says Goodby Mr XXXXX to my husband, and that was from the very first time! its these little touches and the instamatic prawn crackers that you remember.Saying that, the food is beautiful and the surroundings pleasent, so I wouldn't doubt your enjoyment....Becareful at weekends though because downstairs opens as a bar and produce a little bit of hubub. I say go for it, you will be pleasently surprised."

"Went as a group of 6 for a friends birthday and had The Best time. Huge range of food and all of it was absolutely delicious satay sauce...such a small point but! it was superb! all arrived piping hot and super tasty. We moved on to Beer Pong, the manager arranged for us to go on as a group hadn't turned up and we didn't know you had to book. Very kind helpful man! Was BRILLIANT fun special mention to Henry who looked after us in the best possible way a Happy Birthday pud for our friend some shots (which were surprisingly LOVELY! at the horseshoe table. Made sure we all had a great experience. Highly recommend this place for an all round top evening. "

"We had a meal from your restaurant the other night, and I'm sorry but it was awful. The chicken in my curry was prepared in some kind of weird way, I can't even be sure it was chicken! We also had noodles and rice which tasted burnt. Sorry but this not the first time this has happened. Your restaurant used to be our favourite family restaurant for sit down meals and takeaways. "Me and my friend where starving and I mean STARVING so we decided to give this Chinese a chance, firstly I walked into the shop to see the place was slightly a mess but that didn’t bother me as much as I was hungry, we got home opening our food excitingly as it smelled pleasant, I opened it to discover hell. I ordered a chicken chow main and it was like jelly, even my dog wouldn’t go near it, secondly I got s&p chicken and my mooth was on fireeeee but there was no flavour just spicy, and the chicken was rubber, the curry sauce came in a huge tub and tasted like it was store bought, the chips you only get 6, and the prawn crackers where low-key mid, I will NOT be back here again to pearl of honking now I have depression and have been prescribed anti depression and I have healthy dioreha."
