"Why we visited Sampan Bromley? We have been looking for a restaurant to have Sunday Buffet lunch at reasonable price and with many items to taste. We have seen few other restaurants around Bromley do the Buffet but we selected this restaurant as the picture(on the website) provided in Buffet section is tempting and looks like there are many items Actual Experience: When we arrived there, we were shocked. Here is why 1) Less than 11 items in Buffet and that was including Salad items. Here were the items: Here are the items: Starters: a) Salads (too basic) b) Chicken tikka (taste 3 out of 5) c) Lamb sheikh kebab (taste 3 out of 5) d) Onion bhajji (taste cold and soggy so, 2 out of 5) Main Course: a) Naan(plain and dry) and Rice b) Shaag Aloo (taste 3.5 out of 5) c) veg jalfrezi (taste 2 out of 5) d) Chicken tikka masala (taste horrible as an Indian, never seen chicken tikka masala with coconut 0 out of 5) e) Chicken masala (taste 2 out of 5) f) Rogan ghos(lamb) (taste 3.5 out of 5) Dessert: a) Fruits(gapes, pineapple , melons) does it call dessert? Not Sure 2) No chutneys or sauces are available for starters 3) Taste wise, the items are not close to Authentic Indian dishes 4) Shocked to see that there is no Dessert item Overall Food Rating: 2 out of 5 We strongly Believe that This Restaurant is. NOT TO TRY"

"It's incredible to find authentic Indian cuisine in the UK. The food isn't artificially colored or overly spiced, showing the care and attention of the owners and staff. The restaurant even offers activities for children to enjoy and is known for its friendly and entertaining service. Overall, it was a fantastic night out with great value for money and generous portion sizes."

"Unprofessional! Absolutely unreal behaviour by the staff! Cleaning cutlery in the restaurant for 40 minutes and smashing it loudly back in the tray which give us major headache! We have then waited 20 min to get our table cleaned and no bill! So we had to get up and go to the bar to pay! Nobody knew what are bill was! There was no apology for wasting our time! We visit this restaurant 3 times a month, but this is just too much! After we’ve paid, there was no thank you have good evening nothing! If you don’t know how to behave in hospitality business don’t bother working in it as you are making customer miserable!"

"Lovely service and food. I think many people forget that different Indian restaurant/takeaways cook food differently and that’s why not all curries or meals tasted the same as others. The service was brilliant and i was advised on what to get and really enjoyed it. The deserts where also lovey. Lots of options and service was quick even as the food is made fresh to order. "On the day that government extended the tier 4 areas across the country, I collected dinner from Desi only to find that all the 3 employees inside Desi had no protection whatsoever. Not even bad placed mask on the chin as many people use, not a single mask at sight. Every other take away that I have used in the last week had employees with masks as mandatory for every open business. Being a restaurant with a open door on a tier 4 area I expected much more from Desi."

"I always noticed the wonderful smell coming from this place when I walked by, so I finally decided to try it out over the weekend. The man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful, explaining the spiciness levels of the curries and offering to adjust them to our preferences. The food we ordered was delicious, the quality was great for the price, and we didn't have to wait too long for it. I would definitely order from here again. Another great thing is that the menu offers the option to make any dish vegetarian or vegan, which is a big bonus for those who require it."

"been after mailand a couple times and always loved eating there. but this last time it was quite disappointing for us. we were a group of 10 people and although in agreement with the guy who hired the order, but what was served us was very different from what was actually ordered. the service was delayed and that was on Wednesday night. we just went on eating because it was late. did not cost it very much."

"Food was delicious. I felt that the rice to share was certainly very small and we were eating from the a La carte menu. We asked for desert and a coffee they didn’t have the desert we wanted and the coffee machine was out of order. I also asked for irn bru and they didn’t have that either. Overall was a nice meal, however let down by lack of things on the menu."

We found that in fact the portions were well calculated and we could have indeed ordered a full portion for each person! Food was truly delicious ! "Decor in the restaurant isnt great looking but more importantly its clean. They are definitely missing a trick with the lack of atmosphere and the place could do with a makeover. All that said the food is absolutely magnificent and at the end of the day that's what your here for and I have to say it twice because its important especially after putting the decoration down THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT. The staff are nice and friendly and give you the space you like but are around if you need anything without hounding you. Price is reasonable and did I mention the food is amazing? It seems to be fairly quiet anytime I go and maybe a little investment in the decor might bring in more people and make the place more profitable? But whatever you do keep your chef's they are real assets. I've no problem giving this place the full 5 stars and anyone reading this you should try this place out the food is great, as long as your not planning to propose to the significant other that night."

"I recently returned to Aroma Spice, a restaurant that has been a favorite of mine since it opened in 1999. Known for its delicious Indian cuisine, Aroma Spice has always been the top choice in Hampstead, and possibly even in all of North London. After being closed for three months, I was worried that the restaurant may have suffered financially and gone downhill. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Aroma Spice had been reopened last week with a fresh new look. The restaurant has been revamped with a modern and stylish design, featuring a beautiful long bar made of wood and granite. Despite the new renovations, the atmosphere remains relaxed and inviting. I'm happy to report that Aroma Spice is still the same excellent restaurant I remember."

"We booked a table for 4 for 7.30pm, arrived 7.25 and it took 20 mins. to get severed for drinks. It got worse! We were finally shown to the table of a 20% full restaurant and 25mins later finally had the head waiter ask if he could take our order...with an attitude as if he was doing us a favour... We were so put off by the dirty, 'sticky ' tables and v slow service we told the waiter we were leaving, paid for our drinks and left. Never again will we go back!"

"Told it's a good place to eat with tasty food. Agree to this and the waitress who served the table was nice and helpful. I was told look at for the man at the front who will try to rush you and speaks rudely to you if you're of the same colour. Had the experience with him as you can hear him speaking so polite to the other tables. I would go again if he was not there!!!"
