"Went for dinner on a Friday night with a few local friends. Duck Rice is situated in the busy streets of Soho very close to tube. Dim lighting created a nice romantic feel to the place We ordered the vegetable dim sums, kung pao chicken, fried rice, half crispy aromatic duck all to share. The dim sums were served in a bowl, well garnished, tasted delicious. It was very light, well stuffed and soft from the outside. The fried rice and kung pao are a classic combination and you can't go wrong. The Crispy aromatic duck was served on a plate and our server shred It into pieces to be able to eat it in a wrap. It was served with chilli dip , tortilla wraps and some juliennes of salad to put...read more"

"a good meal. for the first time it was extremely fat and tasted like old oil. the meat was hard and not delicious. we thought we would try again, but the second time was worse. Vegetable spring rolls drip with oil, full cabbage and meat! pork heavy and chew to eat. noodles worse than pot noodles, dry, stringy and no taste. bon sprouts that were not properly cooked can also have been raw and said the menu was wrong and did not match the, so could not order what they wanted anyway. one of the worst outliers in Britain. much better on bute."

"Fancied a takeout with a difference. So went with Exotic King Prawn Curry and a “off the menu” Special Chips. FANTASTIC. Plenty of tasty prawns in a delicious sauce and perfectly cooked chips with a chilli kick. A real winter warmer "

"Absolutely delicious food for lunch, myself and some work colleagues ordered food for take away and it did not disappoint. we ordered the Bang Bang Chicken which was fiery but not too spicy and bursting with flavour, the Braised Beef which absolutely melted in our mouths (the best I've tasted in a long while and finally the Lemongrass Chicken which tasted so so fresh and the sauce so fragrant. The service i received inside the restaurant was second to non and had a great conversation with the lovely owner (Dawn who was happy to suggest and explain dishes of the menu. I would definitely recommend Vietnam and will be definitely ordering very soon in the near future. So Vietnam Swansea its a MASSIVE thumbs up from me :"

"Very nice and welcoming place. Small, but comfortable. Food is spot on, had mixed hor d'oeuvres to start, then a selection of dishes, all of which were fresh, hot and tasty. Pricing is very fair and service was attentive without being intrusive. Would recommend reserving a table. Mine was a mid week visit and the restaurant was full. All in all a great meal and I'll definitely be visiting again."

"I've been eating there with a friend. The food can be eaten but is below average: I had at least 5 slices of ginger in my meal which was way to much. The prices on the menu we were given don't seem to correspond to the one on the menu you can see from outside. The service is very efficient but in some sense too efficient: we did not even have time to eat the snacks that the food was already given to us. Last, the bill was not detailed. I would not recommend."

"If you like to pay £19 for a plate of sweet chilli sauce with a little spice, frozen battered prawns and an overwhelming amount of peppers and onion this is the place for you ! Oh and don't forget you have to pay extra for noodles or rice... so £22 for a plate of food that is chip shop standard. In addition to the high price and cheap food the place feels unclean. We had a wall right next to us that was splattered with food, very off putting. I would have asked to be moved but my friend doesn't like a fuss and was too embarrassed to ask. After paying I asked the waitress if she would like a bit of feedback. I pointed out the wall we were sat next to and how off putting this was. She said it was the wallpaper pattern but I pointed out that with a little water and a napkin it comes off ! Filthy. I'm sure there are much better places to eat in formby so do yourself a favour and avoid this place."

"the personal is very nice, also quite funny. very happy people. also the type that served me today was incredibly generous. he gave a young man and I have free drinks. my order came very fast. for the size of the portions and the taste, they are honestly quite cheap. the sweet and sour chicken hong kong style had huge chickens in it. very pleased. will go again when I am in the opposite."

"The food in this restaurant is really tasty and the portion was justified for the slightly pricey side. In my opinion, the quality and taste is better than most of the restaurant I had visited in London China town. The ambiance was pleasing and parking was easy. The downside to this restaurant is probably one or two of the waiting staff/ waiters/waitress. They are quite rude and resembles the waiters or waitress from New York China town. Being a restaurant serving some Malaysian dishes like the Kung Po chicken, and Kang kong (water spinach) balacan, I asked the waitress if they have “salted fish fried rice”, only to be rudely told that this is England and there is no such food as Salted fish Fried rice. That lady was really rude and don’t know her place. I then told her that we can get salted fish fried rice in Colindale London and even in Reindeer Cafe in Cricklewood. I often wonder why these service orientated business people ca be so naive and rude. sigh. Given the chance again if I am visiting area around Oxford, I will definitely visit this establishment, but will keep my fingers crossed on not meeting rude waitress ."

"with the family, including the grandchildren. welcome, eating was excellent. we had dinners and then main course, because we had enjoyed it so much, we decided to start eating more instead of dessert. the seabass was to die, skalopps and garnel, mmmmm....The children from 2 to 10 ate everything and cannot wait to go back. service was friendly and extremely efficient. When the bill came, I couldn't believe how reasonable it was. I can not recommend saigon very much. many thanks for them"

"I hate to leave negative reviews, especially when a business is under new management and trying to grow, that aside my family and I visited to get a meal on our last night in Dornoch. The service wasn’t ideal as when taking the order it was taken down incorrectly (asked for chicken and got pork), the person at the roll point changed this however the same meals initially taken down incorrectly then came out as pork instead of chicken, 2 bullets were dodged as I will come on to. The meal itself was ok.far from good but it was passable. All members of our party who had chicken as part of their meal either suffered upset stomachs or sickness and upset stomachs, far from ideal when you have a 200 mile car journey the following day. Next time we visit we won’t be coming back. Not a great experience."

"If you want to enjoy great Chinese food in a cozy and simple place? Then don't miss The Red Sun Chinese restaurant. Easy access and easy to find. The owner, young lady, is always there and very hospitable. After a view visits, she already new us, welcomed us pleasantly and new our usual without fail. The food is truly very tasty and every trip to London we have to go there at least twice! If you decide to go to this restaurant, I am sure you have certain dishes that you like from other restaurants. I challenge you to compare if you find the same dish on the menu : If you prefer alcohol for a beverage, no worries, the place is licensed. The prices are also excellent for the delicious food that is served. Highly recommended."

"First of all, this restaurant is a good value, and the atmosphere inside is nice. And it does seem to draw in groups of people. So far so good. However... The food does not seem to be expertly cooked by someone who really knows about chinese food. The taste of the dishes is okay but nothing to write home about. The so-called teriaki beef was drowned in soy sauce. Usually teriaki is a glaze made of soy, honey, ginger and sesame seeds. The kung pao chicken was simply a standard sweet and sour chicken with a few cashews thrown in. That is not at all the real recipe for a kung po chicken. And the sweet and sour sauce doesn't seem homemade either. This is a bit tragic if you are a true fan of Chinese food. Added to that the fact that the service was incredibly lackluster: the server just kind of plunked the food down on our table barely giving us the time of day. Fortunately We didn't experience the curmudgeonly attitude of the chef/manager that is highted in a couple of other recent reviews, but that's a bit troubling as well. If you want a sort-of chinese type meal you could do worse but don't expect anything really authentic. (I wish I could suggest where else to go in Folkestone for a decent chinese meal. Value: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Food: 2 Service: 3"

"didn't even know this place existed until recently. but I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with my visit. I thought the amount would be low if you looked at the reasonable price. I ordered the deluxe plate for two for starter. the image shows only half of the plate. my wife had the Thai red curry that was beautiful. it had a lot of taste and seemed authentic or is a Chinese restaurant. I had that Jer chicken. I was in china and this meal was the closest I had in a long time to the aromen from china. I am definitiw back. for those with children, the portions for the children's meals are also so good. you can see that the fried rice and the huh was a grown-up. the staff was friendly and friendly. I noticed that the owners were also personally present at some of the guests when they were around."

"the best Chinese takeaway I've had for a long time. most others are much the same, not necessarily bad, but not good enough to really remember and want as much back as possible. so that our whole family now feels about this disappointment, and we will be thrilled as soon as we ask them if they like a chinese of anstruther! love their crispy nude dishes, really great and their chantapore chow mine is amazing"

"We just had the most amazing food from this wonderful take away restaurant The Watermargin in Witney. Our first time and I’ve never had such wonderful food. The Mongolian Lamb was just excellent, we have travelled all over the world and eaten and we have never had such good chinese food anywhere- and we go to a lot of high end and michellin star restaurants. I also suffer from many allergies. The food was exceptional and the staff kindly were so careful and understanding about all my allergies. Highly recommend this place. Wonderful people too! Superb thank you!"

"I ordered takeout last night and decided to try the salt and pepper chicken, noodles with vegetables, and a side of chips. It was my first time ordering from this place, and I'd heard some good reviews. However, the salt and pepper chicken ended up being chicken balls, which had a batter similar to KFC. They were okay, but not what I expected. The noodles were fantastic—really delicious! The chips had a few hard ones, but they were generally fine, so I won’t complain too much. I’d rate the chips a 4 out of 5. Overall, I’d give the meal a 4 out of 5. The staff member who served us was friendly and polite, and the wait for food wasn't too long. I would definitely come back, but I might try a different style of chicken next time. As for parking, there are some options available."
