"Such lovely people that run this restaurant. They couldn’t have been more accommodating and made the whole experience entertaining for our children. The food was delicious and even managed to impress my father who is virtually impossible to please when it comes to eating out. They even sent us home with a little box of Turkish delights. We will certainly return to this little gem!"

"The cuisine of Lebanon is one of the world;s finest. Simple dishes with good flavours, a melting pot of culinary ideas from all of the Middle East. And this unassuming little restaurant does it to a T , We chose from their hot and cold mezze dishes. Stuffed vine leaves, lebanese pizza with meat and cheese, a very good Hoummous Beiruty, a fragrant Tabouleh, good home made pickles and very good green olives,. Kibbeh, vine leaves, far too much really. Generous portions, friendly service. And they do BYOB."

"We came here since a buddy had told us about it. Such a great experience, I must say. The service is excellent, and the personnel is warm and welcoming. Babaghanouj Grilled Halloumi is what I ordered, and I give it a perfect score of 10. The Falafel Shaamia Lamb Bourak that my companion ordered was delicious. Please accept my recommendation that this be done for you!"

"The place was quite quiet but good for talks and sharing food good to help the ambience. The staff was very polite and attentive. The meal we chose was a Sharing menu with 7 small plates and a small main served with rice and some delightful baklava, which, unlike the Greek version, were not drunk in honey. Personally, we would have preferred a small salad with the main, but that is our preference. This option was £25 head so reasonable for London. All in all a good find, but perhaps not on our special taste."

"I really enjoyed the 30-course meze, but next time I think I'll choose something from the main menu instead, as the dishes looked delicious."

"Although the restaurant is pleasantly decorated, that was the highlight of our visit. We felt that there was a bad attitude to customers from the start. We asked for tap water and instead of being given a jug for the table, we were each given a half filled glass. When we saw the astronomical prices for drinks, for water, for creamy milk drinks we realised that we'd better make our tepid tap water last. The food was average with no extras like you'd expect our cold mezze plate for was basically some dips plus rice in vine leaves. No pitta you have to pay extra for that. Rest of food distinctly average, some not nice at all spinach parcels avoid. Very loud music playing. Large service charge added. Will never go back"

"I visited this restaurant with a group of family and friends for a casual celebration. It was a last-minute plan, but the staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and friendly. The food was excellent, and overall, it was a delightful experience. I will definitely be back!"

"Ate at this restaurant last night as a party of 10 colleagues, with myself being the only non meat eater. We ordered a banquet with many different dishes, and my colleague requested that some vegan dishes be included. This seemed to astonish the waiter, and he asked who the vegan was. When I said it was me, he said ah, an extremist! and proceeded to conversationally attack me on my reasons for going vegan in front of my entire office. I wasn 't much interested in getting into the preachy details as this would have made my colleagues feel awkward, and as soon as I started to defend myself, my colleagues advised him not to pursue the discussion, to which he replied it 's OK, I have a good argument! . His big argument: VEGETABLES HAVE SOULS. I am incredulous by this point, not only because my food choices were being criticised and mocked by a waiter during the ordering process, but because I couldn 't believe he could come out with something so inherently stupid and not be joking. I asked him three times if he was serious, and each time he responded with a deadpan face that he was. My colleagues cut off the conversation as I was just awkwardly laughing, I am all for a bit of banter at my expense but I am also known to speak my mind when the occasion calls for it, and they could see that it was getting to that point. I then had to put up with comments such as how 's the [milk dish] guys? good? you should tell her what she 's missing! etc The only reason we chose to eat at this restaurant was because of the selection of non-meat dishes for me, which is ironic considering the prejudiced and downright disrespectful service I had to endure. My colleagues all agreed that it was the most unprofessional and awkward service they had ever experienced. The food itself was OK but nothing interesting. If you 're still wondering why I 'm vegan, waiter, go and look up dairy is scary on youtube and then please tell me more about how I 'm the extreme one."

"we have sung as a family with three young children on a weekday at midday. the restaurant is light and airy with more remote locations for a quiet dining room experience, there are even majlis on the upper floor. the service was friendly and welcoming as well as efficient. we ordered adult size chicken-shawarma wraps with chips for the children, a schish tawook plate and a lamb kebab plate. we drank fresh orange and fresh lemon juice and a hot water. there was nothing left. the portions were plentiful in size, but really delicious. we have been enjoying levant cuisine since the move to yorkshire from golf. that's the best we cost. the ingredients are incredibly fresh and the meat is incredibly delicate. do not miss this gem of a restaurant."

"al sultan is a restaurant in the shepherd market quarter. it is on a small pedestrian zone behind park lane where there are several oriental restaurants. that is a classic Lebanese restaurant. the mezze, tapa style hot and cold dishes, change daily. there are bratlamm, filled or fried auberginen, zucchini with rice and her belt sauce, hummus natural, tabouleh, etc. the entries are 5 or 6 pfund and it takes about two or three to make a complete dinner. there are also cheese salad, spicy nuts, fish eggs in oil, spinach with cilantro. most dishes are very healthy and perfectly presented. the Shawarma style roasts are 12 pounds."

"No doubt their lamb Sharwarma and sautéed liver is a show stopper here. It's BYOB, Chefs, and Staff are very attentive, a very nice ambience (warm, clean, and cosy). What more can you ask for... the price? Very reasonable! It's £7-8.00 for their lunch menu offer (12 -4 pm) so you can taste the good food for yourselves. I've been eating here for three years or more, I think, and the standards of quality are well maintained. See you tomorrow, guys!"

"Ordered Lamb tagine and bread for friday dinner from this Lebanese style restaurant. Honestly,I had some high expectations from this popular Moroccan dish which didn't met fully tbh.I was trying this dish for the first time and the taste was little Sweet and tangy. Bread was traditional roti (bread) served in Morocco.Would have to try some more dishes from the menu to make my review a complete one.Its a tentative 4.Price for the lamb tagine is 12.9£,so it's not cheap by any means.Lamb meat was cooked well and some vegetables are also in the gravy along with few pieces of semi dry plum, pieces of dry fruits.Portion is enough for one person."

"Overall, good. Food was nice but slightly salty. They served my friend a new dish, when she mentioned it to the waiter, I just ate mine... Felt it was loud as well, so it was difficult to hear conversations with friends. We visited on a Friday nights, so it was busy. I was rather disappointed the belly dancer didn't come, I only went there as a birthday treat, to enjoy nice food, company and the show. It was advertised on their website, that there will be a belly dancer, and when I called to make the reservation, they confirmed there will be a belly dancer, however, when we went, we were informed that the belly dancer isn't coming, which was rather disappointing. Staff at the restaurant were very polite and helpful."

"my visit to beirut meza I liked very well, although my eyes might have been too big for mine. I had several of the hot and cold midshot, of which I would highly recite the hommos (a slightly spicy version) and the kalaj beirut mezza (a hello stuff flatbread) the chef, imad, clearly has a strong passion for eating that he cooks, and was about the dishes worth knowing would again eat a lot."

"the game itself is quite cozy as in the small place camein in the corner with marshmallows art of cozy. it is quite long and thin. the thin long main dining area is divided into a side designated as library, which runs a sofa type bank along the entire length of the one side and chairs on the other side of the table or they can eat under the massive earthy on the deck on the other side, where the device is much lighter with glassy and colour and flowers. either 'space' is only really an island of tables probably 12 14 in each 'space'. at the arrival they sit fast and in my case after asking if I liked the temperature then the remote control was handed over to adjust the air conditioning, I should want. the staff was very friendly, but not all expert in some asspects of the kitchen, but charming and really, that is all they want. Once we set ourselves, we were brought free mineral water, whether sparkling or quiet. the menus looked exciting – classics were there, but with a whirl. we ordered a lot of tapas dishes and a few slightly larger portions known as B-page. the portions of the tapas were quite generous and tasty, although some might have a touch fussy with a small whipped point of a sauce next to the croquetas as s m .. serrano somego cheese flavored. the bechamel in the croquetas was smoove with pieces of a healed ham, as it could be expected that there was also a hint on the Manchego cheese, but as easily as I could "whether I hoped to make the snap too hard. in the fact, the only change I would have made would add a hauch of muskatnuss and a hauch of a black boy, although the bechamel would have made less, what it would have I think they would improve the taste. The padron peppers were as good as expected as early in the year when they get no hot ones to remove the Russian roulette element. the green asparagus was wonderfully cooked and beautifully presented with a little crispy speck below. in the did every dish was delicious and the traditional always a note so that it was unique and different. they have even gone for the chocolate con churros at the end, which the chocolate had presented in a delightful snake and the churros himself, although slightly overly dusted with ejaculation sugar, sweetness had also come on him to popping, which surprises the palate and intrigued. overall it was a wonderful place and I will come back many times I am sure"

"Extremely disappointed with this restaurant and seriously concerned about their (lack of) adherence to government guidelines around social distancing. Upon arrival (I had made a booking for 2), we were ushered to the tiny back area of the restaurant which was absolutely rammed with tables. The person leading us to our table actually asked another customer to stand up to give us his chair as 5 people were sitting on a 4 seater table. We were sat around 30cm away from the other customers so no distancing in place whatsoever. We waited at the table for around 15 minutes without menus or anyone paying us any attention. Seeing as there were only 3 people manning a VERY packed restaurant, it was no wonder they could not keep up with their service. That, and the fact that no consideration was given for our safety, led us to just leave the restaurant and look for something else. Thankfully there are lots of other lovely places to eat around Balham, otherwise it would have ruined our evening."

"I've been eating at this great Lebanese restaurant in West Hampstead for a few years. The menu is extensive enough to suit all tastes, with great houmous starters and mains. The welcome is always warm and value for money is excellent, with a good meal for 2 with drinks coming in at under £40."

"We had the loveliest time -great vibe with wonderful music, kind souls and smiles for staff, and excellent food. The pickles and bread were great starters, we loved the blood orange starter as well as the mozzarella and artichoke, followed by excellent veal and lamb. Great dessert selection too. Everything is easy to share...and is so much more than just food. Thanks very much!"
