"Ordered two fish and chips by phone. One for me, one for my brother...OH MY GOD! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I very rarely finish the chips, they're usually cold and taste awful but these ones were fantastic and I can't believe I ate them all. Will definitely be going back here. "Oh my goodness! I don't even know where to begin with this place.. without a doubt, Bangla Kitchen has the worst takeaway food I have ever had and the customer service we experienced this evening was so terrible, it almost seemed like a joke. First of all, the food was so greasy that it was literally dripping out of the foil wraps. Secondly, when we checked our order, we realized that it was incorrect and parts of it were missing. And the parts that were correct were just awful - the meat was dry, there was a butter wrapper left inside the naan bread, and the tikka masala tasted completely different than usual, almost like something from a jar. When we contacted the restaurant to complain, we were met with a yelling, angry man on the phone who offered no apology and continued to shout at us. I was speechless. In conclusion, if you're looking for delicious Indian food with great customer service, definitely steer clear of Bangla Kitchen. I will never order from there again and would advise others to do the same."

"I absolutely love this, I tried both the main dinner menu and the buffet lunch and both were amazing. the Italian and Indian food is really authentic, the personal is beautiful and the chefs really know what they do. the decor inside is beautiful lush fabrics and a warm comfortable environment. the buffet every day is a fantastic place to take a fast business meeting and fast lunch and the weekend is perfect for a family day. so far I was only for work in mumbai milano, but I am very pleased to visit her Sunday bread buffet with my family. all in all I am quite impressed by this place and look forward to going back!"

"Visited on a whim, and Indian food is something I do enjoy. Sat downstairs and my order was taken right away. Poppadoms and a variety of sauces were brought and I nibbled whilst waiting for the meal I ordered. It only took minutes and was delivered, piping hot. It was fabulous, really well cooked and very tasty. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for fast and friendly service and a lovely meal. It was, I feel, a tad pricy, the rice was separate, and although they do meal deals, this was outwith the times. However, it is in St.Andrews so that seems to be on par with Edinburgh pricing. Lovely meal though."

"this restaurant deserves any good review that it has got! eating is amazing and the ambiente is just as good. in the rule Indian/pakistani restaurants with claws decoration and interiors, just because there are few restaurants. but this restaurant is very different. the restaurant is very beautiful from the inside and especially looks perfectly clean. we have not made the buffet option and have just decided to order from the menu. we ordered the chicken tikka masala, garnelen biryani and malai tikka boti. we loved eating, especially the huh tikka masala! that was the highlight of our meal, couple with the warm butternan. it was delicious! the biryani was a bit spicy, but still very tasty. I would recommend this place to everyone! go and see yourself!"

"Ordered through Just Eat. Customer service was excellent, a member of staff called me on mobile to confirm the delivery address and order which was nice. The delivery man (just eat) was very friendly and professional the food arrived bang on time. I had a lamb Madras, garlic naan keema rice. The meal also came with a free popadom which was nice of them. The Madras was really nice, it was very well balanced for herbs and spices and there was a good amount of lamb which tasted fresh and of a good quality. For my personal preference, the Madras could of been a bit 'hotter ' but of course every restaurant has their own way of making these curries and it was still a great, lots of sauce too which was also good. The naan was good too, a nice size and it actually tasted of garlic. The keema rice however didn 't do it for me, it just didn 't look right, it was quite pale coloured and the mince was a grey sort of colour, it was quite different to other keema rice dishes I 've had. However I can 't complain too much, the meal was excellent value and the staff were great too, plus not everything can be as dine in quality due to the restrictions of course so don 't judge them just for an ok rice dish. The rest of the meal was brilliant. Also the popadom tasted fresh and full of flavour and crunch, I have to say it was probably the best popadom I 've had. So 1) excellent, polite, personal customer service. 2) great service from 'Just Eat ' delivery staff. 3) great quality meal, especially for the price paid. 4) brilliant value for money. 5) most importantly it tasted fresh. "We had a superb meal in the Bombay Bicycle Club. It was quieter than I’ve known it to be because of Covid but the staff attention to detail was excellent and the food was just delicious. We shared starters of fish pakora and mixed pakora that covered a beautiful range of flavours and textures. The pakora were prepared in a light batter that allowed the flavours of the fish, chicken and vegetables to come thru... the haggis pakora easily fended for itself on flavour. We had mains of lamb madras curry and tandoori prawns on a bed of sizzling onions. The prawns were among best we have ever tasted and the lamb madras (I asked for slightly less hot) was wonderfully spicy, succulent and still had that familiar warmth. Drinks wise, Edinburgh tap water tastes good anyway, but the restaurant serve it chilled which was great and we had a glass of house red, perfectly delicious and was a good medium to full bodied and a glass of refreshing white with the prawns. Last word for the ambiance and the staff. The feel of the restaurant was familiar and relaxed, it’s lovely and airy and the big glass front brings lots of light and a chance to people watch. The staff are superbly courteous and friendly and as mentioned their attention to service is impressive. We will return soon, I recommend you give it a try too."

"i would really advise strongly against using the services of this restaurant .ive used them three times and never again. im an experienced waiter of many years standing and have never and would never give such bad service to a customer or i wouldnt have a job.my first time ordering a received a call after some time asking to come down to a car to pick up my food.i informed the driver to ring my bell(i live in a house)and bring my food to me.he then buzzed my bell and came up the stairs huffing and puffing as if i was putting him out.he obviously doesn't understand what delivery means.he was so miserable i was really worried that my food could have been maliciously interfered with.i went through the same experience twice more although i always tipped him.i went to order again and was told we dont deliver to you anymore .use uber eats and the phone was dropped twice on me.this is so shocking im enraged and words fail me that this kind of attitude happens in the uk.if your driver doesent want to deliver get on that does want to.these points have already been covered in many other reviews,very negative experience and just generally very unpleasant.thank god there many other restaurants in the area ,so i dont have to give support to such unprofessional outfits"

"I had the most amazing chicken masala here recently. I didn't even know this place existed. "Have wanted to try this takeaway for a couple of years due to good reviews and a love of spicy food. So finally ordered online last night. Went for the set meal for two consisting of Poppadoms and chutney, two pakoras, salad, two mains with...rice and nan. Had the Himalayan Lamb and Hot Khathmandu Chicken for mains and it was delicious. Everything was cooked really well. Normally with a takeaway you have to re-heat the mains if you eat the starter separately but not in this case, it was all piping hot. Only very slight criticism was too much rice and a plain nan instead of peshwari or keema, but overall an excellent meal. Well worth a try."

"I always command the spicy chicken tikka karahi from bhajee, but from some reason the karahi curry was removed from the menu just eat!? Please bring it back! I have to order from alternative Indian restaurants to have my favorite karahi curry, and they are not as good as bhajee. the curry at bhajee is always very tasty and of good quality (there was one or two curries, where the meat not quite up to scratch a little hard, but that was a rareness.) in the rule has the curry beautiful tikka meat and generous amounts of fresh paprika and wobbles yum. also the rice is beautiful it can not fail. the ‘spicy’ version has recommended for me the correct amount of hotness very. sometimes the delivery is a little slow, but it doesn't matter to wait for me if I know that eating is going to be good. ps: Bhajee staff, if you read this, please bring back the karahi curry on the just eat menu!"

"We are loyal customers of Tiffin, ordering family meals from them every month. However, during one recent visit, we were disappointed when our salad was forgotten with the starters and there were no onions with the popadoms. Additionally, the mixed grill I ordered was served cold and I had to heat it up in the microwave. When I called to complain, the person who answered said the manager was not available and would call me back, but never did. After reaching out again a few days later, the manager did not apologize but offered free popadoms as per their policy. When I mentioned the poor service, the manager abruptly ended the call after I used a certain word. We have decided not to return as a result of this lack of customer service, even though the food is tasty."

"not to find the simplest place, but an absolute pearl when they do. the inner is very clean, modern in styling and welcoming. from our experience the service was from the beginning attentive, friendly and fast, but without being overwhelming. the quality of the food was delivered in good time excellent, fresh and hot. and especially it was very delicious. the choice of crying is also a plus point. overall a great experience and we will not hesitate to go back. highly recommended. "During our visit to Cheltenham, we stumbled upon this charming restaurant by chance. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive to all our needs. The restaurant was also very clean and well-maintained. My husband ordered an Afghan chicken dish from the special menu placed on our table and he loved it. "A group of friends and I visited Glasgow and stumbled upon this charming restaurant. I was impressed by the beautiful paintings on the walls that brought back childhood memories. However, the food was a letdown. We ordered fish pakora and chili chicken, but the presentation of the chili chicken was unconventional and not to our liking. The taste was also disappointing. The Gol Goppa was a standout dish. The chicken Chettinadu and prawn korma were okay, but lacked authenticity. The biryani was overly buttery, overshadowing the spices and fragrance. The naan was the highlight of the meal. The staff was polite and the service was efficient. Overall, this restaurant may not be suitable for those seeking authentic Indian cuisine."
