"good cheap food. maisha atmosphere and eating was generally good. I, my wife and the 20-year-old daighter showed up tonight. we had the early evening menu (they had to ask for it! at £9.95/HEAD with 3 beer and an orange juice. Eat was good if not excellent and portioning were generous, we were so full that we needed no pudding. the regular meal prices are somewhat expensive, but also the other Indian restaurants in st andrews are a bit expensive."

"Ordered through Just Eat. Customer service was excellent, a member of staff called me on mobile to confirm the delivery address and order which was nice. The delivery man (just eat) was very friendly and professional the food arrived bang on time. I had a lamb Madras, garlic naan keema rice. The meal also came with a free popadom which was nice of them. The Madras was really nice, it was very well balanced for herbs and spices and there was a good amount of lamb which tasted fresh and of a good quality. For my personal preference, the Madras could of been a bit 'hotter ' but of course every restaurant has their own way of making these curries and it was still a great, lots of sauce too which was also good. The naan was good too, a nice size and it actually tasted of garlic. The keema rice however didn 't do it for me, it just didn 't look right, it was quite pale coloured and the mince was a grey sort of colour, it was quite different to other keema rice dishes I 've had. However I can 't complain too much, the meal was excellent value and the staff were great too, plus not everything can be as dine in quality due to the restrictions of course so don 't judge them just for an ok rice dish. The rest of the meal was brilliant. Also the popadom tasted fresh and full of flavour and crunch, I have to say it was probably the best popadom I 've had. So 1) excellent, polite, personal customer service. 2) great service from 'Just Eat ' delivery staff. 3) great quality meal, especially for the price paid. 4) brilliant value for money. 5) most importantly it tasted fresh. Good job guys and thankyou."

"The restaurant rated well on urbanspoon so we thought we'd try it. We ordered two meat thalis and a side of tarka daal. There was a lot on the table and one thali would have sufficed for both of us. The one vegetable dish in the thali was a little bland in comparison to the others but all in all we weren't disappointed, and the bonus was the price was reasonable Closest tube station is Royal Oak."

"I always command the spicy chicken tikka karahi from bhajee, but from some reason the karahi curry was removed from the menu just eat!? Please bring it back! I have to order from alternative Indian restaurants to have my favorite karahi curry, and they are not as good as bhajee. the curry at bhajee is always very tasty and of good quality (there was one or two curries, where the meat not quite up to scratch a little hard, but that was a rareness.) in the rule has the curry beautiful tikka meat and generous amounts of fresh paprika and wobbles yum. also the rice is beautiful it can not fail. the ‘spicy’ version has recommended for me the correct amount of hotness very. sometimes the delivery is a little slow, but it doesn't matter to wait for me if I know that eating is going to be good. ps: Bhajee staff, if you read this, please bring back the karahi curry on the just eat menu!"

"Have wanted to try this takeaway for a couple of years due to good reviews and a love of spicy food. So finally ordered online last night. Went for the set meal for two consisting of Poppadoms and chutney, two pakoras, salad, two mains with...rice and nan. Had the Himalayan Lamb and Hot Khathmandu Chicken for mains and it was delicious. Everything was cooked really well. Normally with a takeaway you have to re-heat the mains if you eat the starter separately but not in this case, it was all piping hot. Only very slight criticism was too much rice and a plain nan instead of peshwari or keema, but overall an excellent meal. Well worth a try."

"We ordered food at 17:40 and was told our food would arrive by 19:10. At 20:00 our food still hadn’t arrived and 106 phone calls later our food finally arrived at 20:15. The food was stone cold. The prawns hadn’t been cleaned and were dirty. The aloo chop had no taste was just a textured slop. The curry sauces were grease, water and pepper and the rice was hard. All the delivery driver had to say was ‘well we’ve had a lot of orders’. The food entered the bin, along with my money!"

"Got some chips with curry sauce just now on my way home from work. The curry sauce is more like a spicy, warming butternut squash soup. On chips it's a bit weird tho, not really what I expected, and they didn't really go well together. I'd totally pay for this as soup with some flatbread on the side, I think it would easily be a hit at a posh café, so do keep it on the menu"

"During our visit to Cheltenham, we stumbled upon this charming restaurant by chance. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive to all our needs. The restaurant was also very clean and well-maintained. My husband ordered an Afghan chicken dish from the special menu placed on our table and he loved it. I opted for the Bombay Aloo and was not disappointed. The meal came with fluffy pilau rice and a delicious garlic naan bread. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and would highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant. Well done!"

"A group of friends and I visited Glasgow and stumbled upon this charming restaurant. I was impressed by the beautiful paintings on the walls that brought back childhood memories. However, the food was a letdown. We ordered fish pakora and chili chicken, but the presentation of the chili chicken was unconventional and not to our liking. The taste was also disappointing. The Gol Goppa was a standout dish. The chicken Chettinadu and prawn korma were okay, but lacked authenticity. The biryani was overly buttery, overshadowing the spices and fragrance. "We arrived at our reserved time and were seated promptly, but it took the staff 20 minutes to come to our table to take any sort of order (drinks or food)! We were not informed that the restaurant does not accept cards, so it was embarrassing when I had to leave the restaurant to go to the cash machine across the street in order to pay the bill. When the bill finally arrived, we were shocked by the price of a pint of Cobra at £8!!! We have always been satisfied with the service at this restaurant in the past, but this was not our best experience."

"Not the easiest place to find, but an absolute pearl when you do. The inside is very clean, modern in styling and welcoming. From our experience, the service from the start was attentive, friendly and quick, but without being overpowering. The quality of the food was superb delivered in good time, fresh and hot. And above all it was very tasty. The selection of wines is also a plus point. Overall a great experience and we won't hesitate to go back. Highly recommended. Be aware that parking is very limited."

"Myself and 3 colleagues booked for dinner, we arrived and there was only 1 waiter on duty. He sat us down came over with the menu and just put on the table and walked away. After a while he came back, we ordered drinks and before my colleague could order our poppadoms he walked away. The food was awful. The Pilau rice was brown in colour, pilau rice is yellow with cloves and cardamom this was not. The chicken tikka masala was awful, it was luminous orange and the chicken was tough. The chicken byriani was inedible, it was mega spicy, my colleague couldn't eat it. The spinach in the saag paneer was slimy, horrible food. Never going again."
