"Ordered two fish and chips by phone. One for me, one for my brother...OH MY GOD! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I very rarely finish the chips, they're usually cold and taste awful but these ones were fantastic and I can't believe I ate them all. Will definitely be going back here. "Oh my goodness! I don't even know where to begin with this place.. without a doubt, Bangla Kitchen has the worst takeaway food I have ever had and the customer service we experienced this evening was so terrible, it almost seemed like a joke. First of all, the food was so greasy that it was literally dripping out of the foil wraps. Secondly, when we checked our order, we realized that it was incorrect and parts of it were missing. And the parts that were correct were just awful - the meat was dry, there was a butter wrapper left inside the naan bread, and the tikka masala tasted completely different than usual, almost like something from a jar. When we contacted the restaurant to complain, we were met with a yelling, angry man on the phone who offered no apology and continued to shout at us. I was speechless. In conclusion, if you're looking for delicious Indian food with great customer service, definitely steer clear of Bangla Kitchen. I will never order from there again and would advise others to do the same."

"I visited recently with my sister and we were both very impressed. I had curry and my sister had ravioli, both meals were excellent! There is something for everyone including loads of choice for vegetarians. They also serve some yummy cocktails. The staff were really welcoming and attentive. Absolutely can't fault this place and highly recommend it."

"Return visit here while staying in St Andrews. Luvly welcome from staff. Ordered a luvly bottle of house wine Enjoyed pops and 4 chutneys all very tasty. Ordered a mixed starter to share Then a chicken balti tikka, and a maisha special curry, with a mushroom rice to share, a chapati. and a cheese and garlic naan. All food was delicious and freshly cooked. We had a really enjoyable evening. Highly recommend a visit here ,will be back : :"

"Following the principle 'good ought to be sought ', we scanned through reviews here on TripAdvisor to look a good Nihari place and found 'Karachi Pakwan '. I called ahead to reserve a table and to get a 'feel ' for the service/people, it went well. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Nofel as soon as we entered the restaurant and seated. We were pleasantly surprised by the inviting ambience, warm plates, clean cutlery and spotless glasses. (You 'd be surprised how rare the last 3 are at Pakistani restaurants) Our host recommended masala fish whilst we 'd wait for our main which we thought tasted excellent. Our main, Nihari with Kulchas was served at our requested time. The kulchas were fresh and perhaps the nicest we had at any Pakistani restaurant. Nihari was good enough, albeit I did think it could have done with a bit of (fat) trimming. Regardless, the taste didn 't disappoint. We had no room to try their recommended falooda (or even a sweet paan) but we shall in our next visit. The restaurant is about 90 minutes drive from us BUT worth it. Our previous Nihari restaurant (in West Hendon) is half that distance but declining service had costed them our custom of 10 years. We shall be returning to Karachi Pakwan for more."

"Ordered through Just Eat. Customer service was excellent, a member of staff called me on mobile to confirm the delivery address and order which was nice. The delivery man (just eat) was very friendly and professional the food arrived bang on time. I had a lamb Madras, garlic naan keema rice. The meal also came with a free popadom which was nice of them. The Madras was really nice, it was very well balanced for herbs and spices and there was a good amount of lamb which tasted fresh and of a good quality. For my personal preference, the Madras could of been a bit 'hotter ' but of course every restaurant has their own way of making these curries and it was still a great, lots of sauce too which was also good. The naan was good too, a nice size and it actually tasted of garlic. The keema rice however didn 't do it for me, it just didn 't look right, it was quite pale coloured and the mince was a grey sort of colour, it was quite different to other keema rice dishes I 've had. However I can 't complain too much, the meal was excellent value and the staff were great too, plus not everything can be as dine in quality due to the restrictions of course so don 't judge them just for an ok rice dish. The rest of the meal was brilliant. Also the popadom tasted fresh and full of flavour and crunch, I have to say it was probably the best popadom I 've had. So 1) excellent, polite, personal customer service. 2) great service from 'Just Eat ' delivery staff. 3) great quality meal, especially for the price paid. 4) brilliant value for money. 5) most importantly it tasted fresh. "fantastic family run indians with delicious food. Last time I visited, we started with some samosas and mixed kebab. the meat on the kebab was perfectly cooked and fell practically from the spits – delicious! for the main I went for chicken korma, while my friend went for lamb jalfrezi – we decided to do the half. for the accompaniment we have rice and a peshwari nan. the chicken corma was nice creamy, although had a amount sauce to huhn ratio. the jalfrezi was also very tasty and had a nice but not too powerful kick, the lamb was very delicate and nan were also delicious. the personal is always very friendly and happy to give them some recommendations if they are not sure what to order. priced it is very reasonable and if they are happy enough to be still student, they do student discounts."

"i would really advise strongly against using the services of this restaurant .ive used them three times and never again. im an experienced waiter of many years standing and have never and would never give such bad service to a customer or i wouldnt have a job.my first time ordering a received a call after some time asking to come down to a car to pick up my food.i informed the driver to ring my bell(i live in a house)and bring my food to me.he then buzzed my bell and came up the stairs huffing and puffing as if i was putting him out.he obviously doesn't understand what delivery means.he was so miserable i was really worried that my food could have been maliciously interfered with.i went through the same experience twice more although i always tipped him.i went to order again and was told we dont deliver to you anymore .use uber eats and the phone was dropped twice on me.this is so shocking im enraged and words fail me that this kind of attitude happens in the uk.if your driver doesent want to deliver get on that does want to.these points have already been covered in many other reviews,very negative experience and just generally very unpleasant.thank god there many other restaurants in the area ,so i dont have to give support to such unprofessional outfits"

"I had the most amazing chicken masala here recently. I didn't even know this place existed. I had a business meeting in the restaurant and I am very impressed with the food. definitiw one of the best Indian meals I've ever had. they were looking forward to going back there, they also had a nice pinot grigio I forgot to get the name. the person with whom I had pasta and was also very impressed by their meal. as they can see from the photos, it was also beautifully presented."

"First off, going to the premises to collect my meal was promising, you can see the food being cooked, so that tells me they have nothing to hide and I was confident with the cleanliness of what I could see. The employees were polite with a friendly face and there were comfortable sofas to sit and wait on. The meal itself was absolutely beautiful. My favourite item was the veg samosas, definitely the best I’ve ever had. The popodums were melt in your mouth. I ordered a little side curry because I prefer to eat my curry with naan and popodums dipped in it/ scooped on top of the piece of naan/popodum rather than the usual rice and dump the sauce on it. I did have a rice as well though, don’t see many places offer garlic rice so I decided to try- again, flawless. I definitely recommend and will be back."

"Have wanted to try this takeaway for a couple of years due to good reviews and a love of spicy food. So finally ordered online last night. Went for the set meal for two consisting of Poppadoms and chutney, two pakoras, salad, two mains with...rice and nan. Had the Himalayan Lamb and Hot Khathmandu Chicken for mains and it was delicious. Everything was cooked really well. Normally with a takeaway you have to re-heat the mains if you eat the starter separately but not in this case, it was all piping hot. Only very slight criticism was too much rice and a plain nan instead of peshwari or keema, but overall an excellent meal. Well worth a try."

"We are loyal customers of Tiffin, ordering family meals from them every month. However, during one recent visit, we were disappointed when our salad was forgotten with the starters and there were no onions with the popadoms. Additionally, the mixed grill I ordered was served cold and I had to heat it up in the microwave. When I called to complain, the person who answered said the manager was not available and would call me back, but never did. After reaching out again a few days later, the manager did not apologize but offered free popadoms as per their policy. When I mentioned the poor service, the manager abruptly ended the call after I used a certain word. We have decided not to return as a result of this lack of customer service, even though the food is tasty."

"Got some chips with curry sauce just now on my way home from work. The curry sauce is more like a spicy, warming butternut squash soup. On chips it's a bit weird tho, not really what I expected, and they didn't really go well together. I'd totally pay for this as soup with some flatbread on the side, I think it would easily be a hit at a posh café, so do keep it on the menu"

"During our visit to Cheltenham, we stumbled upon this charming restaurant by chance. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive to all our needs. The restaurant was also very clean and well-maintained. My husband ordered an Afghan chicken dish from the special menu placed on our table and he loved it. I opted for the Bombay Aloo and was not disappointed. The meal came with fluffy pilau rice and a delicious garlic naan bread. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and would highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant. Well done!"

"A group of friends and I visited Glasgow and stumbled upon this charming restaurant. I was impressed by the beautiful paintings on the walls that brought back childhood memories. However, the food was a letdown. We ordered fish pakora and chili chicken, but the presentation of the chili chicken was unconventional and not to our liking. The taste was also disappointing. The Gol Goppa was a standout dish. The chicken Chettinadu and prawn korma were okay, but lacked authenticity. The biryani was overly buttery, overshadowing the spices and fragrance. The naan was the highlight of the meal. The staff was polite and the service was efficient. Overall, this restaurant may not be suitable for those seeking authentic Indian cuisine."

"not to find the simplest place, but an absolute pearl when they do. the inner is very clean, modern in styling and welcoming. from our experience the service was from the beginning attentive, friendly and fast, but without being overwhelming. the quality of the food was delivered in good time excellent, fresh and hot. and especially it was very delicious. the choice of crying is also a plus point. overall a great experience and we will not hesitate to go back. highly recommended. Note that parking is very limited."
