"I thought I would start the week with a curry. Ordered online for a later collection. I fancied a change from my usual mixed grill and opted for my other favourite which is a Thali. Good portion size including chicken tikka, kebab, tikka masala and a lamb curry. This was washed down with rice and a naan bread. The tikka and kebab were quite nice. Well cooked and fairly well spiced. The two curries were ok. Nothing to write home about but perfectly acceptable. The naan was properly cooked and had a lovely flavour There was a lot of it and I was unable to finish it. I would recommend this place if you are after a decent good value meal."

"The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious! I only tried it because someone insisted that their biryani was the best they had ever had, and they were right. The exterior may be unassuming and the decor questionable, but the service and food more than make up for it. I tried the mixed grill and the lamb biryani, both of which were amazing. If you enjoy this type of cuisine, I highly recommend giving this place a try!"

"I ordered a takeaway which included a vegetable biryani. Normally, this dish is flavorful and packs a punch, but unfortunately, this one lacked taste and was very bland. If I had been blindfolded, I wouldn't have been able to tell it was supposed to be Indian food. There was no seasoning, spices, or heat at all, making it tasteless. The dish was full of roughly cut chunks of raw onion and the French beans were so tough that they were inedible. This has to be the worst Indian takeaway I have ever had. I am so disappointed because the food from this restaurant is usually of high quality, but not on this occasion."

"Food Poisoning! Beware! After enjoying a meal with some friends, we all wound up with a wicked case of food poisoning the following day. While the food was tasty, it's not worth it! I followed up with the management who was unhelpful and indifferent. Poor customer service. There are so many great restaurants in Tooting- avoid this one!"

"I spent a long time walking around Bognor Regis and Felpham looking for somewhere to eat on an Easter Monday evening. As time ticked by I became desperate and, after some hesitation due to its unprepossessing exterior and the fact there were only 3 people in there, I took the plunge and dived into Simla. …And was not disappointed. The food felt home cooked indeed I could hear it being prepared for me because I was sitting close to the kitchen door. It took time (not too much, mind) and the chef was obviously taking care. I had 4 simple dishes including a delicious fresh courgette side dish, mildly spiced, and a Naga version of tarka tadka dal. The oil used for cooking was clearly fresh and not too plentiful and everything had a tasty home cooked feel to it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and , if I lived locally, would certainly come back for more. The service was also very laid back and friendly. 10 10 for a simple, tasty meal cooked with care and sometimes that really hits the spot. Price was very reasonable too."

"Was recommended this place by a friend. We have used Cafe Indus but this place just shines far brighter. Staff we’re all really friendly, attentive and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. But the food was fantastic especially the garlic chilli lamb, and vegetable Karai. Thr poppadums, pickle tray, bhajis, rice and breads were all delicious. A lovely experience and we’ve found our new home !!!"

"Lovely pub with amazing staff! Laura, in particular, was really helpful helping us find a table and recommending food for us. We shared a selection of the small plates they were great, and perfect sharer options for friends out for drinks and nibbles. The food was a little slow coming out, and some bits were a little cold, but we put that down to ordering quite a few different dishes, and it didn’t spoil the experience overall. We did witness an uncomfortable incident where a very unhappy customer was complaining in quite an aggressive and intimidating way, but Laura kept her calm and handled it amazingly well. It was hard to watch, so must’ve been awful to be on the receiving end of that kind of complaint management should be proud of their staff!!"

"Have to be honest we didn’t eat here but had to share our experience of bad customer service! We recently booked a table for dinner on a tribute night, despite having a booking confirmation, a booking reminder on the day when we arrived we were told there was no table for us. We had a half an hour drive to get to the restaurant so were not very happy to be turned away. The manager was insistent that they had tried to call me to get a £10 deposit per person but despite telling him this was untrue as I have had no missed calls or messages left he was really rude and unhelpful. He kept saying that the emails are automated and nothing can be done. I find this really poor customer service as I had emails agreeing to the table and there was no way of paying deposit online so we were totally in the dark. I finished work early to make this tribute night and was really looking forward to it so left very disappointed. We certainly will not be returning and urge anyone else who has booked a table for one of these nights to ensure you confirm the table is definitely there for you before leaving home."

"My husband and I came here after passing it on the way home and after visiting many years ago decided try again. The service was brilliant, very friendly staff. Food was fresh and tasty, best onion bhajis I've ever tasted!! and the peshwari Naan was particularly yummy. They Don't serve alcohol but we didn't mind at all as you can bring your own if you wish, we ordered a couple of cokes which were a bargain at £1 a can! We ordered from there special offer which was a 3 course for £11.95, what a bargain! Also FREE popadums, so what more can you ask for?? "Have been a customer multiple times and enjoyed the food and prior to ordering I called ahead to ask how long it would be. I was informed it would be minutes, so proceeded with my order. I called two minutes later to change the order and express concern that my confirmation text said ETA minutes. Again, I was reassured that this was incorrect and was automatic because of the roadworks outside the restaurant. mins later I called to say I still hadn't received my order. The person who answered was the same person I had spoken to earlier and asked if I wanted to cancel. I expressed my displeasure at the time taken and highlighted that I had called ahead to avoid this precise scenario. I was lied to and when explaining why I was upset he said look, do you want your delivery or not He offered no token of compensation and was abrupt and confrontational. Advised a refund wouldn't be processed as he couldn't until one of the managers was in. He later said he was one of the managers and the refund would be with me in half an hour. Shocking manner and customer service, will not be returning."

"After a busy day last Sunday we thought a curry so to try delhi flavor as I am new in the opposite and like to use local restaurants where they are worth it. delhi flavour is worth a visit. the room was quiet. I guess that's normal for a Sunday night. the personal is friendly and efficient. the food was excellent. my partner would recommend the lamm madras as he eagerly shot the loose. he likes his curries hot and he said the lamb madras was certainly hot. I swallowed the chicken-shashlik that was beautiful. I love the fact that we could take our own drinks. it makes a great evening a little less expensive. although the prices in delhi aroma are excellent. we will certainly return to this place as often as we can. a large curry house in walking distance, happy us!"
