"We didn 't feel The Brasserie offered much variety. We arrived to be told that the Asian menu wasn 't available that day, leaving very limited menu choices especially if you wanted to be healthy. My steak and chips was fine but my wife ordered the 'superfood salad ', which transpired to be a huge bowl of spinach with a tiny bit of rice, three slices of avocado and a tiny bit of quinoa. Very disappointing for £13. The service was pretty good, but there wasn 't much of an atmosphere and we didn 't feel it represented good value for money, even for central London."

"We were in UK last summer and were visiting Edinburgh. I made a mistake and did not do any research of the area for any Indian Restaurants in case of any exigency. The exigency arrived in a way that, my four year would not want to eat anything but Indian food. "A fantastic restaurant, with great food and equally amazing service. I ordered a paneer tikka to start; the portion was quite large for a starter but not too big. It was full of flavour and even had a bit of a kick. The butter chicken was perfect, with the chicken being lovely and moist. Service at the restaurant was fantastic, I asked for a straw and the waiter couldn't find it and then 2 members of staff came and apologized for not being able to find the straws which made me feel like the restaurant really value their customers."

"We arrived and they had noBooking for us! They moved two people who had just sat down to accommodate our party of 6! After a bad start we had the best attention from the management! The food was fabulous and the restaurant was quirky and buzzing! My 5 Danish friends who can’t really get curry at home were raving about the place and the food! "We went to celebrate my daughter getting new job and took her here for her first visit and she really enjoyed it. We both had our usually lamb Rogan josh which is must have for me and my wife has the chicken makahani so that left my daughter who went with the chicken tikka masala and all three were great dishes. "We live nearby and usually avoid restaurants that serve meat, so we were hesitant to try this one for a long time, even though it seemed quite accommodating for vegans. However, we finally decided to give it a chance last week, and we had a surprisingly wonderful experience. "After a busy day last Sunday we thought a curry so to try delhi flavor as I am new in the opposite and like to use local restaurants where they are worth it. delhi flavour is worth a visit. the room was quiet. I guess that's normal for a Sunday night. the personal is friendly and efficient. the food was excellent. my partner would recommend the lamm madras as he eagerly shot the loose. he likes his curries hot and he said the lamb madras was certainly hot. I swallowed the chicken-shashlik that was beautiful. I love the fact that we could take our own drinks. it makes a great evening a little less expensive. although the prices in delhi aroma are excellent. we will certainly return to this place as often as we can. a large curry house in walking distance, happy us!"

"So, visited this restaurant with my family for a birthday celebration. Initially when we arrived, there was no one to greet us and took roughly 4-5 mins for someone to eventually approach/greet us. When we ordered, we were not told the starters with individual/apertiser dishes not suitable for sharing. Also being a vegetarian, the vegetarian selection was not the best. The starters were OK but not great either! The paneer tikka was undercooked but alo tikki chat was on point! Before the mains came out, we were informed by the chef the Okra main we chose wasn’t up to the chefs standards and was not happy to make this for us which we appreciated. So they asked us to choose another main and went for an aubergine main. We asked if they could add some potatoes within the dish and we were told that they done have any potatoes on site!! When the mains eventually came out, I can honestly say they pulled it back from being a bad review to a good review. Mains were very good. It feels like the restaurant needs to update their menu to make it more up to date with dietary requirement such as “vegan” and “Gluten Free” which they don’t have (from what I saw). Also there’s a lot of emphasis on meat foods. I truly believe if they update their menu and have more vegetarian/vegan dishes, they would attract a lot more new customers."

"we have just begun to use the bengal brasserie after our local alam spice in fawley eating down. Fourth visit and eating was great! the best curry we ate in a very, very long time. garlic chili huh, lamb vindaloo, hot, spicy full taste and deep. not full sugar and salt like alam spice. spices also cooked well. lamb pathia is delicious. lamb very delicate and huh was also perfectly cooked, damp and tasty and not like a piece of rubber. I can't praise them enough. A nice cook. the only problem was the wobble that bahjii was crispy out there, but in the midst gay, still give them 5/5 because everything else was spot-on."
