"Had really high hopes for this place based on their great reviews! However, our experience was a mixed bag. Started off with fresh papadums. Our mixed starter was delightful as were the samosas! For main their lamb shank is so tender and juicy. However, our lamb biriyani was incredibly tough and the rice didn’t seem fresh. The chicken in the korma was rubbery and bland. The keema naan barely had any filling. Since most of the main fell short, we left feeling disappointed. Also, we found the lights to be quite white and bright which made the environment quite sterile."

"This restaurant is beautiful and cozy, with a funny and friendly waiter and unique cuisine. I usually don't give 5-star ratings, but this place definitely deserves it. "So where do I begin.... I thought I 'd try this establishment again after having a good ish experience, this time As a take away. Please understand I live 2 roads away from this restaurant and waited an hour and 5 minutes for my food! Whilst on the phone to an incompetent manager the food was received and was STONE cold! The excuse was given to me from the manager that yes it is only 25 minutes late what is the big problem which I brought to his attention that it was NOT 25 minutes late as I was told 30 minutes remember 1hour 5minutes! I requested a full refund in which I was called by a senior manager who was at home. This coward of a man is rude, unknowledgeable, incompetent and disgusting and is very lucky he has not met me in person! Especially after hanging up on me because he didn 't like it when I made a fool of his solutions as they were totally a joke. He started the conversation by calling me a liar, suggesting I TEXT him my bank details for a refund to which I declined for obvious reason, he then proceeded to shout and try to be sarcastic! Biggest mistake to make and didn 't like it when I put him in his place. Then demanded I never order from him again and that I was wasting my time as his restaurant was the absolute best I the area! HAHAHA funny mate. After an hour of arguing and him contradicting his own points I made sure he understood that receiving my refund immediately was the best solution as I would take this further. I will be seeing him"

"Great service!! I don't know that girl's name but she really made sure we had everything and that we enjoyed our dinner. About food, we ordered king prawns starter, it was tasty with little chutney on the side but just 3 small prawns. Really really really small portion size for that price. Naan here is simply yummy. We ordered Vindaloo with it. Like a typical Goan Vindaloo, this one was hot, very spicy but flavourful. It had well made chicken."

"When I arrived at the restaurant, I was immediately impressed by the meticulously set tables, giving off a charming ambiance. Despite the prices not necessarily reflecting it, the restaurant felt quite comfortable in other aspects. The service was outstanding - we were promptly served and even offered some complimentary "extras" like a fresh juice cocktail, chocolates, and flowers! The meal itself was exceptional, with the red chili being a standout dish that I highly recommend."

"On arrival we were warmly greeted and seated straight away. Our drinks order was taken and these arrived quickly, we were also able to order poppadoms and pickles whilst deciding on what to eat. If I was to have one slight issue, and this is a common problem with many restaurants, it would be that the soft drinks range should be just as extensive as the alcohol range etc. and of similar size ranges, not just tiny little bottles. As our group had not met up for some considerable time we did take quite a while before placing our main food order, but this was not a problem for the staff as they were available when we required them but they remained in the background and were not pushy or overbearing in trying to get us to place our order. The food menu was wide ranging and well explained, the staff were also more than willing to alter dishes to accommodate dietary requirements where possible and were knowledgable about the ingredients of each dish. The quality of the food was very good and it was evident that care and attention had been put into each and every dish that we had. The food was well presented and portion sizes were plentiful, certainly everyone was very well fed. After our main course was cleared we were provided with hot towels to freshen our hands, and with out bill we received chocolates for everyone. A good time was definitely had by everyone. I thank all the staff at the Joy Raj for a great evening out."

"This neighborhood cafe is a hidden gem! My family recently moved to the area and stumbled upon this place. I'm now envious that every parade of shops doesn't have a spot like this. I wish I had this cafe at the end of my street, I would definitely become a regular. The decor is casual and welcoming without being messy. They offer a great selection of sandwiches, which can be toasted as well. The coffee is excellent and reasonably priced. The cakes looked tempting, so I'll definitely have to go back to try them."

"we had a lunch from this wonderful new restaurant. our mealtimes had high quality ingredients prepared with skills. the portions were generous and there was a suitable ratio of meat to carbs, which meant that the chef had not tried to approve by placing on the meat. the most interesting thing about our meal was that it was quite fragrant: when we opened the box, the fragrant rosewater-infused biryani filled our dining room (think the maximum strength Turkish joy). in that I still have his taste in my mouth. the only disadvantage is that the parking situation can make it a bit difficult to collect a meal."

"I ordered a takeaway through deliveroo, and when it didn’t arrive (because the driver couldn’t find my address and “left” it somewhere else) I went to the Masti and they swiftly replaced my delivery and gave me a seat at a table and a drink whilst I waited. This was a busy Saturday night. Their food is ALWAYS delicious, and I’ve eaten in the restaurant and had take away and it’s always great quality. The manager was very polite, understanding and courteous. I will continue to use the Masti for their wonderful food: I will however order straight from them and avoid deliveroo from now on."

"The pub is very clean and organized, with a relaxed atmosphere. The beer garden out back is beautiful, especially at sunset. They are following all COVID-19 guidelines. "This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! The food was incredible, packed with flavor and incredibly fresh; the meat was tender and juicy. We sampled a variety of dishes and each one was delicious! The portion sizes were just right, whether it was appetizers, entrees, or sides. The service was excellent; our server was friendly and professional, always attentive to our needs. "This place is unique, I haven't seen the same combination of churros a and ice-cream anywhere else, so I think you should give it a go! I had the loop&scoop option. The service took a bit too long, I think the kitchen was understaffed. The churro was very tasty, I didn't like the biscoff ice-cream much, but the nero one (really dark chocolate) was just perfect. I wish I could try their vegan milkshake as well. They had 6 flavours if vegan ice-cream when I visited."
