The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious as always. "I have been a fan of this restaurant for over a decade since I first discovered it. Located in the heart of London, it is easy to find and close to our hotel. The area feels safe even at night, with many pubs and people around. The restaurant has a street-level dining area for those with mobility issues, as well as a smaller back room and a downstairs area for larger groups. The food is top-notch and reasonably priced for central London. The staff have always been friendly and accommodating, which is why we always choose to dine here when in London for the night."

"Unfortunately we did not see this restaurant at it's best. It was the day of a rugby final so it was packed. Knowing how busy the place would be we reserved a table and got seated on time. after a short wait we ordered and drinks and nibbles arrived quite quickly. Starters then came luke warm, and not particularly special. We then waited, and waited, and waited. An hour and three quarters after we arrived there was still no sign of a main course or any service we had tried to catch the eyes of the people working there several times. In the end we decided to leave. We reached the counter and asked to pay what we had received. This came to £40 for three drinks, nibbles and starters which we paid. In all fairness the manager was very apologetic. The waitress was very friendly as well. I could not fault either of these two. But clearly they must have been understaffed and this resulted in delays. We weren't the only group to complain about the time. So, in short, I can't really comment on how good this restaurant is usually. It has very good reviews which is why I made the reservation. But I would avoid on match days."

"we were looking for good Indian food near our hotel on glouster photos of india not disappointed. eating was so tasteful without being sharp! we ordered lamm samosas, huhn tikka masala, lamb corma, biryani and naan. for both of us it was perfect! the restaurant was overcrowded, which is always a good sign when there are other possibilities. I would definitely return, it was authentic and so good! happy that we could get a table."

"bookable for 3, which a child, turned to find over 20 people outside waiting for entry. from others waiting in wait, a mistake was found in the booking system so that all table bookings were accepted, but they did not honor any of them. it had come first, served first. over 20 minutes asked, and the feedback from customers who go, it was 2 hours to eat dinner dinner, since service was slow. even if we have made it inside, that a handwritten statement on the wall said that the card machine was broken, so that only cash would be accepted. was there with a child and had booked before the concert later in the evening. decided after 45 minutes waiting time that we had to go to another place to make sure we had a dinner before the concert. at no time has anyone from the restaurant talked to the people in the waiting queue while we were there. a great experience. will not be able to reserve table again if this is how they treat people."

"Shocking Customer Service Experience Cannot Recommend Tonight we are hosting a gathering at our home in Yalding with eight friends and decided to try Zarda after not using them for years. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. When we called to place our order, the employee who answered the phone seemed to be struggling with their system. Our phone number wouldn't register, and they couldn't find our information. Despite providing our phone number three times, the employee's tone became increasingly angry and frustrated, as if it was our fault that their system couldn't locate our details from our mobile. We asked if they could simply add us as new customers, but the employee was clearly unwilling to help and seemed disinterested in our order. At this point we have not given him any additional information to manually add us or try. We suggested trying another establishment if this is being to difficult, the employee actually agreed, which was shocking to us. We strongly recommend avoiding this place. Save yourself the trouble and choose another restaurant instead."

"We stumbled on this restaurant after a long hike. There isn’t any parking at the restaurant but we were advised to park in the pets world retail park and it was a 5 mins walk to the restaurant. Decor is simple nothing fancy. Staff were very friendly, attentive and social which makes a huge difference to the experience. Food was surprisingly good. We ordered channa puri and mixed grill for starters. For mains we had chicken jalfrezi, tandoori prawn masala with rice and naan. Lastly for dessert we had cardamom tea and kulfi ice cream. Our favourite was the channa puri, jalfrezi and the naan which was freshly made. The kulfi ice cream was a nice finish to the meal. The other dishes were okay but nothing really to write home about and we may be a little tougher considering this is our home food. We have made allowances for the fact the restaurant needs to cater for its locals such as sweetening up some of the dishes with cream and coconut. They also made space for my husband to pray which was a bonus. Unfortunately they do not take American Express but took debit card payments. Overall we enjoyed our time here and would come again."

"this is a new-ish curry house that was taken over by the mehak. it is worth visiting, as both eating and personal are hard to impress. more and more Indian restruanten go for the super-Blande and brown gravy angle than when they buy their food wholesale from 'iceland' this eat tastes authentic and in-house but on the 3 insass I was, they have managed to repeat the meal (I know boring! on the same standard over and over again. I recommend it."

An indian restaurant. Visiting parents, as now live in Lincolnshire, and they took me here... Service; fantastic, very personal, great conversation. Location; 'hidden ' away, and parking could be an issue if early doors. Drinks; unlicensed, so BYOB. Wine for me. Food; when 'testing ' an Indian restaurant I will always go with the chefs/restaurants 'own ' Jalfrazi. If its good, I know the rest of the menu will be good. Lots of experience here . No complaints from parents, nor myself. Price; absolutely spot on for portion size. Lamb Tikka Sylheti Jalfrazi. Not over powered with chilli, just a nice warmth on the back of the tongue, perfection. As well as the starters, all was beautiful. Highly recommended, and parents say take out/delivery is spot on too. Those that know me, you know I like my curry. If i say its good, its very good. "I recently returned to Aroma Spice, a restaurant that has been a favorite of mine since it opened in 1999. Known for its delicious Indian cuisine, Aroma Spice has always been the top choice in Hampstead, and possibly even in all of North London. After being closed for three months, I was worried that the restaurant may have suffered financially and gone downhill. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Aroma Spice had been reopened last week with a fresh new look. The restaurant has been revamped with a modern and stylish design, featuring a beautiful long bar made of wood and granite. Despite the new renovations, the atmosphere remains relaxed and inviting. I'm happy to report that Aroma Spice is still the same excellent restaurant I remember."

"I've eaten here a few times with my partner and always been blown away by the food, so for my birthday this year I thought I'd arrange a meal with some friends to share the deliciousness with loved ones. Big mistake. The restaurant clearly don't want to cater for large parties (there were 12 adults and 4 kids in our group . We booked an early table at 5pm to make this easier for the restaurant and free up the space for evening diners. From the moment of our arrival we were treated with utter contempt, bits of our order never turned up, drinks took ages to arrive. When it came to leaving, we were told we had underpaid by £25 but previously the waitress had said we had completely covered before I'd even paid my portion so the £25 I paid for my meal was essential the tip (way more than 10% . The hostile manager wouldn't let us leave and insisted we pay the missing money plus a tip. After we left we checked all our receipts (though most of us paid in cash , added them up and saw we had indeed been swindled. I am genuinely devastated because I have loved eating here until this point, but I won't be going back because of the way we were treated. If you are a solo diner or couple then please do visit because the food is absolutely out of this world, but if you are a large party please avoid the awful experience I was unfortunate to have at the hands of such a grumpy man completely devoid of human kindness (who really shouldn't be front of house ."
