"Booked to come here to celebrate my Birthday with family. Have to admit, I haven't visited here since before 2019, my expectations were exceeded. They were most accommodating, due to the fact that some of my family members sadly became ill, so could not attend, however after informing Fiume, they were most gracious adjusted our table dinning requirements accordingly. The restaurant was very busy, however, that certainly didn't detract from the excellent attentive service that we received. From our starters of Crespella Ai Funghi E Salsiccia, to our mains of whole Seabass Flambe Di Gamberi, our food was superb, along with the very attentive waitress that looked after our table for our food drinks. It was quite a night, due to the fact that there must have been at least 6 other Birthday parties celebrating there, which was unusual to experience so many, . . just shows what a popular Italian Restaurant this really is. Thank You to all the staff chefs Fiume Italian Bar Restaurant, for making my Birthday celebrations an evening to remember. We'll definitely be back very soon."

"Table was great, large glass area overlooking the walk down to the Cathedral. I loved what was on the menu, although I think it may have been a bit fish heavy for my friend. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Food was excellent and portions were good. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience. My only gripe was that none of my choices were on the menu of the day!"

"I went for lunch yesterday at this restaurant. It was not my first time there and it certainly won't be my last. The staff is lovely, very polite, and attentive. We tried the lunchtime special which was £14 for three courses. It was an absolute delight! The meatball starter was delicious, the potato skins and pasta were generous portions, and the pizza was delicious and plentiful (we even took some home). If you want to have a fantastic meal, this is the place to go. They also have a beautiful outdoor seating area for the summer. I can't wait for the sunshine!"

"Went here randomly and did not regret it. It was empty when we arrived but started filling up when we were in there. We were initially apprehensive but it did not disappoint. I had the garlic mushrooms to start and they are probably the best garlic mushrooms I have even had!!! Our server was lovely (her name escapes me! but Ronnie, the manager, is a top guy. These guys deserve every success. Highly recommended."

"good quality. casual and smooth atmosphere. the place is dedicated to the art of making pizza and panini. I had there the pizza “Il contadino”, which was very nice and pleasant. it could be a good choice also for vegetarians because this pizza has only tomaten, mozzarella cheese and many other vegetables on it. the personal is welcoming and prompt. I would go there for pizza instead of meeresfruit and panini, because it looks like it's their specificity. the prices are good and they should expect to spend 45 for two people. I would suggest going with a group of friends and enjoying their time. the place is quite small, so it is better to make a reservation before going."

"As most people do, we popped in for a quick meal prior to the theatre. Carlos our host and his colleagues were very welcoming and the food was spectacular. I had the spaghetti vongole one of the best ever and my girlfriend had the best chicken Kiev she said she has ever had. The tuna and the veal which our guests had also came highly recommended. The only negative is that our time there was much too short and we plan to visit again just for an evening out without any time constraints. Thank you Carlos and your family"

"Had a great experience and a delicious meal on Saturday before theatre. Made to feel so welcome from a delightful lady.. (Don't know if she's the boss and if she isn't she should be). Nothing was too much trouble even when I asked for pineapple on my calzone pizza. She was very friendly and welcoming to our party of six. "It 's my first time in my life that I leave a review. I won 't leave them because I worked in restaurants for 20 years between Italy and London. But this time I necessarily have to do it because this restaurant claims to be an Italian restaurant but in reality it is not like that. 1) I ate a good pizza but very far from Italian pizza. 2) I asked for a dessert tiramisu and on the minus it was written that it was made with zabbaglione but it wasn 't like that. It was made with cooking cream with mascarpone. In addition, I asked the staff if I could speak to the chef who had told me in advance that he was Italian but in reality he was not. This is really sad because if there is something written on the menu you have to respect it! And don 't make fun of people.. The ending if you want to see an Italian place with a nice selection of music then this is the right place.. But don 't expect Italian cuisine because it 's not like that (as I said before the pizza was good but very far from Italian pizza) I will be back in a few months to try the tiramisu again and hope it is as described on the menu."

"I had a wonderful meal here to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday, and it was fantastic. I started with the mozzarella fritta, which was delicious. For my main course, I had a pizza that was beautifully cooked. I also enjoyed a Menabrea beer, which was great. My only minor complaint is that the service could have been better; I had to ask for more drinks and so on. However, the restaurant was quite busy, and the staff was limited. The staff were all lovely and very friendly. I will definitely be returning!"

"We were dinning here a few days ago. Waiter was standing and looking at us the whole time. We ordered pasta dishes, could eat quarter of it as all was swimming in butter and fat. Worst part was a dessert, after we ordered the other waiter at the bar was heating all our puddings in the microwave behind the counter and looking all the time that noone sees what he is doing. I would never go back, for the same price can eat fresh and nicely cooked food in other places."

"We went to dinner on Friday after work with friends. At first, we thought it was pretty quiet for a Friday night, but the atmosphere picked up. The ambiance was lovely, very cozy and intimate, and the waiter who served us was very friendly, not intrusive but informative when needed. For starters, we all had a variety of dishes: pate della casa, antipasto della casa, salad, and eggplant parmigiana. For mains, we had a T-bone steak, classic pasta dish, and a delicious chicken romano dish. Overall, we were satisfied with our meals, the seasoning, and the flavors were great. However, my friends who had the steak were not overly impressed. They felt that the texture of the meat suggested it might have been frozen at some point, rather than fresh. Despite this, we had a nice dining experience and would consider coming back. Next time, we may stick to the authentic Italian dishes as this is an Italian restaurant, and they do them very well."

The food was the best we have had in a long time. Everything was delicious. WE would recommend this place to anyone and wish that we lived closer so that we could take friends. The decor and music was also special and very laid back. Actually might make an overnight stay in Arundel just so that we can enjoy the food and wine fully without having to drive home it was that good!!!!"
