"What a wonder restaurant. Made very special by the lovely Italian lady who was our waitress. She loves the restaurant and her enthusiasm was contagious. The food was the best we have had in a long time. Everything was delicious. WE would recommend this place to anyone and wish that we lived closer so that we could take friends. The decor and music was also special and very laid back. Actually might make an overnight stay in Arundel just so that we can enjoy the food and wine fully without having to drive home it was that good!!!!"

"Honestly, I must start off by saying how impressed I was with the quality of the vegetarian Chilli Freak pizza we ordered. It was arguably perfectly done with a delicious crust and tantalisingly good amounts of spice and heat — it’s just a shame with...what came before it. During a time of scrutiny where hygiene measures should be paramount within the food industry and takeaway kitchens, we were hugely disappointed to see staff at work not abiding by these guidelines, not wearing masks, beard nets, gloves and, terribly, handling meat without washing their hands before spreading vegetarian toppings. This is very, very poor and something I will write to Papa John’s directly about because (as pictured) zero attention or care is seemingly given to their customers behind the scenes. Not even wearing disposable gloves or masks with being so prevalent is something I find deeply unsettling. It’s therefore challenging for me to award Papa John’s in Brentwood anything more than two star. We also must address the costs of food on their menu. For solely a large pizza, you can be paying nearly GBP which is exorbitant! There is a distinct lack of friendly customer service and I imagine waiting times can be fairly long when the place is busy. So, all in all, whilst the pizza might have been delectable and makes formidable opposition when compared to a Pizza Hut order, behind the scenes there really is a great deal of work seemingly to be done. Quite dire hygiene it appears."

"came to an appointment at the restaurant bella vita invited. I didn't know what to expect honestly. great surprise, the restaurant has an air of the old trattoria restaurant, but what was a beautiful surprise is that the music was well chosen, the lights were dimmed with candles on the tables and a busy terrace. service was friendly. eating was amazing. in one point the music was quite loud, I ask the manager, a bit the music he kindly did. the manager, gabriel had a chat with us to see how we feel when we enjoy the night, I would like to thank them for giving a warm personality, knowledgeable and professional, quite surprised that this type of people still exists in restaurants. well done! recommend this place to everyone."

"I've visited this restaurant twice, and my first experience was much better than the second. On my recent visit, the piccata was thick and mushy, while the carpaccio was dry and lacking flavor. I ended up spending over $70 for myself, which included just two glasses of wine. There are many other restaurants that offer better quality for that price. However, I must say the view was lovely."

"Having last visited this restaurant as a child and having very fond memories of family evenings there I was delighted to return today and find the same owners still in place and the same brilliant food. The owner could not have been more welcoming and my 6 year old daughter, having been gifted a free ice lolly after enjoying a delicious bowl of authentic spaghetti carbonara, described the restaurant as “the best in the world”"

"Good pizza doesn't require gimmicks and La Cucina does good pizza. The margarita on its own would have been amazing, without having to add other toppings! Prices were fair and staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly. It was busy without seeming busy and the staff were in total control. would recommend and intend to go again when I visit Stirling next."

"I went to this restaurant for dinner with a friend and I'm really happy that I did. The pizza had the perfect thickness, crispy edges, and the dough was not soggy in the middle. I ordered the vegetarian pizza and could tell that the ingredients were fresh and freshly prepared. The customer service was excellent and the waiter was attentive. I sat outside as it was sunny and warm, but inside the restaurant had an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. You could see the chef making and cooking the pizza in the wood fire oven, giving it a homey feel. I would definitely recommend Honest Italian to my friends."

"didn't know this place was even there. very backward inside, like an 80s Italian. they don't let it go. both eating and service were great. our waitress was really nice and offered us the pre-theater menu, although it was past time for it. the food arrived quickly and the portion sizes were really generous. after eating good and brilliant service we have another good surprise when the tiny bill arrived. we had three courses and a bottle of wine for £41. so good. we agreed that we would definitely visit azzurro again."

"I've been here a few times and always recommend it to people. considering that it is in the middle of the west end slap bang, the prices are great that I will be compared to another Italian place I will visit this evening in surrey, and the place in surrey is more expensive. the service is always good and eating is always great. the only thing I think is the frontage, it looks like the inner outdated, sticky and not completely hygienic, but that is not my experience at all, so don't let it go. highly recommended, and I will continue to go back for great Italian cuisine!"

"After booking through OpenTable, I received a call to confirm my reservation. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was greeted by delightful smells and a great atmosphere. We were led to our table where we were informed about the specials and had our choice of wine and water brought to us. The staff, who were happy and friendly, went out of their way to accommodate a family group next to us who were ordering various dishes from the menu. We opted for the steak meal for two, which was cooked perfectly, and enjoyed a bottle of Rose. I highly recommend trying the Dianne Sauce with your steak. The dessert was also delicious and the attentive and cheerful staff were more than willing to cater to our every need. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant and will return next time I am in the area. Thank you for a wonderful evening."

"we were looking for a quick appetizer, as we have a short time between afternoon activities and a visit to the citizen’s theatre, training spotting, fantastic, but that is for another review site! very practical restaurant for parking and theatre, and welcomed by friendly staff. restaurants were quiet around 18 o'clock, we both chose from the 2 cursor menu. we had bruschetta and zuppa di fagioli to begin with a side garlauchbrot, the bruschetta was fantastic. for the net I had pollo alla cacciatore, nicely cooked and tasted fantastic. my wife had pennette amatriciana, she also thought is really nice. we will certainly go back when we have a little more time to relax and enjoy the experience, but the personal and the service we have received was very good."

"the saying "not judge a book through his cover could have been donated for this place. on the outside it looks more like any old independent pizza kidnapping, and that does not really change this impression sitting with 3 4 which are squeezed along a wall. And some barstool style sitting along the other, looks nothing like a typical Italian restaurant. but what do we visit restaurants for? that eat naturally, and oh mine, supplies pizzeria triangolo in this department. as its name fits, the menu is hard on pizzas, although there is still a quite long selection of pasta dishes to choose, and how it is all freshly cooked to order, changes are easily accommodated if they have rather left a certain ingredient, or something added. between us four we had 3 different pizzas, a pasta dish and a appetizer made of garlic cheese pizzabrot and gave the empty teller and satisfied looks on all our faces at the end of the meal, there is no doubt that eating here is tip notch. including drinks, the whole meal came to a smidge under 60 pfunds, which for 4 people"

"We visited La Lombarda for a special meal, having not been in years and had good experiences. However, this was not a great experience. It was quiet with 6 tables (at most). We waited over 30 minutes for our starters which were an antipasti and bruschetta. My bruschetta was just chopped tomatoes on garlic bread.... Have had better in chain Italian restaurants. My calzone was cold in the middle and very poorly made. My husband's pizza was very average. Again, we waited over 20 minutes for our plates to be cleared and no one checked or asked how we found the food. We only got our plates cleared because we called someone over to ask for the bill. The prices are high and for the quality of food, they are out right atrocious. Considering the competition of other Italian restaurants in Aberdeen, La Lombarda doesn't even compete, unfortunately. It is such ashame as it has been a staple in Aberdeen's city centre for so many years but has gone downhill considerably since I last visited."

"Unfortunately the meal came out really slow we had arrived on time and we had to wait for nearly an hour. We had to get to the theatre and once the meal came we had to bolt it. As we had only 10 mins left. I could not do this so had to leave my meal. The waitress was very sweet and tried to help with a complimentary drink, but I didn’t want this. I left over 50% of my meal. They said we could come back for a free pudding but we had other plans. They gave us 10% off the meal. This was not good enough and we did not have time to object. This was our 39th wedding anniversary too! What we did eat of the food was good, but we will not be going back."
