"we were looking for a quick appetizer, as we have a short time between afternoon activities and a visit to the citizen’s theatre, training spotting, fantastic, but that is for another review site! very practical restaurant for parking and theatre, and welcomed by friendly staff. restaurants were quiet around 18 o'clock, we both chose from the 2 cursor menu. we had bruschetta and zuppa di fagioli to begin with a side garlauchbrot, the bruschetta was fantastic. for the net I had pollo alla cacciatore, nicely cooked and tasted fantastic. my wife had pennette amatriciana, she also thought is really nice. we will certainly go back when we have a little more time to relax and enjoy the experience, but the personal and the service we have received was very good."

This place was a hidden gem in Glasgow. Just two blocks off the main drag which was packed, Al Dente was near the waterfront of the Clyde River. Fortunately for us, this location must be keeping the crowds away, Because the food was excellent and the Italian gentleman who waited our table was as pleasant and happy of a waiter I have ever seen. He was literally singing and dancing in the restaurant, Joking with my children which had us all laughing and having a great time. Excellent delicate calamari, delicious crusty garlic bread, and their pasta dishes were light but very flavorful and definitely al dente!

at the beginning I am in love with Scotland and have a weakened for Italian cuisine, this place was the best choice to eat and a comfortable one too! directly next to the holiday inn (where we stayed for about 3 days) this restaurant will satisfy its Italian demand.
