"The manager of Ciao Italia took two weeks to respond to my request for a quote, and I had to follow up with them. The manager then sent me a very high quote for afternoon tea from a cafe email. I asked to reduce the quantity and the alcohol, but did not receive a response. The manager went on holiday and the food seemed to be from an outside caterer. There was too much food, endless jugs of alcohol, and glass cups with hot water and tea bags for making tea. I was pressured to pay a large bill at the end of the wake for my mother because the staff claimed they did not receive my request to reduce the order. Finally, the manager admitted that she had sent the quote from the wrong email and had not seen my request. It took over a month to receive a limited refund. It seems that this restaurant does many wakes, but I feel taken advantage of and ripped off. This experience made a stressful and upsetting day even worse."

Below average overpriced food in a beautiful interior! Absolute disappointment.. Other than the Pistachio Croissant everything would get a 1 star. Including the service. So, we ordered Vegetarian full English breakfast in an Italian Cafe!!!! Hmmm

The food in here is usually lovely, fresh and homemade but really disappointing to order a pancake stack for over £8 and have 3 tiny supermarket pancakes cold with a tiny bit of fruit and no Nutella as per the description! This was a huge let down! Why not homemade and warm?!

I was disappointed with this restaurant. The food took longer than expected to arrive and the service was indifferent. The carbonara was cold and lacked flavor, the garlic bread was also cold, and the fries were only warm. The panini was unremarkable and the beer was not cold enough.

Visited the Caffè last Sunday with my family for a Sunday brunch. The choice of food and drinks was excellent and I personally had fried eggs on toast which was delicious. Service and atmosphere was very good and if you're in Banstead it's well worth a visit. Will definitely be returning

I had a fantastic Full English breakfast with a delicious latte. The others in my group enjoyed eggs royale. The staff was friendly and attentive, although they appeared a bit overwhelmed. Despite this, we had a positive experience and I would recommend this restaurant. I am excited to come back in the future.

This is a lovely place to spend some time. Staff and customers really friendly. They open the doors up during warmer weather, quite a bit of seating outside. I have only had drinks here, hot chocolate, flat white and a pot of quality loose leaf tea. The cakes look very sweet though but the whole menu has been extended and looks more appealing. Very popular with children and parties.
