"great place for pre-theater food. so they don't have background music so that you can speak correctly without irritating distraction/inability. beautiful social bollness and pleasant waiting staff who are attentive without being intrusive. good options on fixed price menu, which is very good, but would like to see that this has changed more frequently as it was visiting as with the last one. are very good and tasty. not the same recipes that are usually pampered by Italian chain restaurants."

"The service at the restaurant could have been improved if the waiter had informed us that the pasta was good for sharing. The person who took our order even appeared to be the manager. Despite there being three of us dining, we each ordered a main dish. My friend and I both ordered the same pasta dish. The waiter should have mentioned that one order was enough for two people and suggested other dishes. We were surprised when two plates of pasta were brought to our table. We even asked another waiter if the dish was meant to be shared, and she confirmed that it was. To the waiter who took our order, please be more attentive in the future and avoid unnecessary food waste."

"Rather disappointing. Pasta was too hard. Maybe they could ask you ifvyou like al dente. Fries were awful although garlic bread quite nice. Service not great. Three of us almost finished before fourth meal came. Son had small portion as not too hungry. Was size suitable for a 2 year old. This wasn't explained. Regular portions notvthat big either considering the price."

"My wife and I make it a point to have a meal out at least once a month. Our previous experiences at this restaurant have been very good. We started with appetizers as usual, but when I ordered a medium rare filet steak, it came out well-done. I was disappointed to hear the staff try to convince me that it was cooked to the correct temperature. I shouldn't have to explain the difference between medium rare and well-done. Eventually, they replaced my steak with a medium rare one, but only after my wife had finished her meal."

"My Wife and I try and get out for a meal at least once a month, previous visits here were very good. Starters were fine, but I ordered a medium rare fillet steak for my main, got my steak which was well done, mistakes do happen, but to try and tell me that the steak was medium rare was just frustrating, I should not need to explain the difference, so replaced my steak with a medium rare, although after my wife had finished her meal. Did give us a free bottle of wine to apologize, which was a nice touch."

"My husband and I visited last night,a very warm welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant, lovely busy atmosphere too. We shared the Antipasti which was generous. I had a delicious ceaser salad and my husband had chilli pasta which was also scrumptious! Only a little room left to share a pudding. We didn’t feel rushed at all which was nice . The price was good considering what we have spent in other eateries whilst away and this meal was by far the best ! Would definitely go back and happy to recommend to friends and family."

"the Ribelli Sunday brunch is really excellent! we enjoyed the version with free flow prosecco. at 44 € we can only recommend the brunch completely (without prosecco 34 €). the pizzas are excellent. both the small breakfast spizza, as well as the normal (big) pizzen tasted us excellent. also the breakfast buffet does not read a wish open. all we have tasted has excellent taste (lax, salami, crimp, diw cheese (especially delicious: gorgonzola), salami, washbasin, ice cream, speck, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, baked). "I went with my Italian woman to ciao napoli to lunch in the last summer. the food was excellent and the service was also excellent. I want to go back. I was very surprised by the restaurant, it was my first time there. it is very atmospheric in an old building in a small room with beautiful old wood panel. it reminded me of the old town in edinburgh. a hidden gem in gray granite of the godless."

"Went for meal with other half who was in the mood for some decent pasta and this place delivered. We shared a starter and both had pasta dishes as mains. Food was very nice, well presented and tasty. Decent and reasonable wine menu as well. Waiting staff were excellent and would definitely go back as it wasn't bad value either. Recommended."

"We went to work with my friend yesterday and are still amazed at how amazing everything was. The place is stunning and immaculate the staff is the kindest I have ever seen. We tried her garlic bread, carbonara, risotto with chicken stall, black forest cake and cheesecake it was lovely. Portions are huge I couldn't eat anything else until today noon. Elena was so beautiful, most beautiful person I've ever met. I wish everyone in the world would be like them and the world would be a much more beautiful place. "Connubio means union in Italian and Fabio is the owner who has been there for all our visits. I think it sums up this lovely restaurant perfectly. Italian and Spanish food is brought together and also the menu has wine pairing suggestions. Fabio really knows his wines and has some lovely short stories about some of them. There’s a wide price range and I really get the sense he cares more about you enjoying it than trying to up sell as they do in chains! The food is good but not complex (deliberately so I think). The cheese board is amazing...especially when they have a pecorino with truffle in...but it changes depending on what the supplier provides so don’t expect this what I am now calling crack cheese all of the time. I really love that it’s not pretentious or overly chefy. Although as I’d like to visit often being local, some specials might be nice as I get the sense the menu doesn’t change often. The service is very friendly and has personality. If you’re nice then I think they go the extra mile to treat you well and engage with you. If you’re rude then I can imagine them not being that bothered if you come back as they have enough regular customers that enjoy it for what it is. Together, the food, service, slightly 1980s style decor all makes a delicious atmosphere. If you’re local then please keep supporting this independent business at the heart of Muswell Hill."

"There was a friend. Very friendly service, nice atmosphere, only the price is a bit expensive. I had salmon as head and then Nutella Profiterole for Dessert. Salmon is perfectly cooked. Hardly cooked without destroying the fine texture of the salmon. The side plate with cherry tomatoes, mussels and potatoes with butter and sea salt never makes the taste boring. Nutella profiteroles has a cookie on vanilla ice cream on a freshly baked fluffy cake. With freshly roasted hazelnuts with a small cup of hot chocolate to drip on your dessert. If you eat together with all portions, the crisp cookie provides bite texture, vanilla ice cream gives the sweet and cold feeling, immediately follow through hot fluffy cakes, roasted hazelnuts and chocolate liquid. The perfect balance of hot and cold feeling of ice and fresh baking cake gives the tongue in luck. The sweetness of vanilla ice cream is balanced with slightly salty biscuits, so it never gets boring to eat every bite. The waiters and waiters couldn't be more beautiful. My friends record wasn't what he wanted. She sent it right back to the kitchen and kept us informed about how long it would take to make us feel comfortable. Overall, great friendly service, and delicious food. In the end, only a high bill comes."

"I chose this restaurant as the menu wasn't too expensive and is located within easy reach of the Albert Hall. I would say our waiter James seemed to be having a bad day and really struggled to smile. Cheer up James, it might never happen! I was surprised by the 13.5% service charge which is the highest I've seen but perhaps that's a sign of the times. Would I go again? Well I couldn't argue with the quality of the tiramisu."

"Absolute stonker of a pub/restaurant. The pub is upstairs on the Broad St level, and the restaurant (which also has a bar) is down one level towards Gas St and the canal. The food is fantastic, and surprisingly inexpensive. The waiting staff are great chatty and efficient and the atmosphere is cracking. We were sat near the bar, but still had plenty of space for dining."
