"Our daughter has never in the past years been home for her birthday due to commitments in the first weeks of the school holidays and is only home for an evening in the middle ao we wanted to something special for her (albeit a couple of days early) We were picking her up from near Derby so we thought a trip on the way home to Sheffield would be a good idea. I found F&B restaurants in the area and plumped for this one. I booked for at and relaxed. Until the day before when I could not find the confirmation. So I booked again. The discovered with horror the first confirmation in my junk items. I promptly cancelled that one but then panicked that it would be construed as both being cancelled. As we had a cake I popped in before we went to pick her up. The staff were great, took the cake off me and reassured me that the booking was there. Off I went. Next panic came at when we realised we were running early. I needn't have worried. A quick call to the restaurant confirmed we could get there early. When we arrived there was only one other group sitting. This would ordinarily have worried me but after the fantastic service so far it didn't. First thoughts turned to a banner, not asked for, but so thoughtful saying birthday girl Never had that at a F&B before but wow, my daughter's face lit up. Should have said earlier that she has no clue we had planned this. Balloons galore at a corner table and we settled in. Great that we were not pressed to decide our food, bit could take our time. The waitress explained that they did not have any pineapple so Hawaiian pizza was off the menu. But she helpfully offered alternatives and we ordered. The meals came together and were hot (unlike my last F&B experience in Scunthorpe). The pizzas of us), lasagne and burger were well cooked and everyone tooked in. The obligatory is everything ok visit came but not before we had had chance to eat something and also a request for a top up of drink was met speedily (again Scunthorpe take note). Puddings again arrived promptly and together (yes this does matter) and after a nod the cake arrived. A great early evening for us s we headed home happy. Thank you to the team at F&Bs Manor Road, Derby for making one birthday girl feel extremely happy and one dad the most happy he has been with a dining experience for a long long time. Just please stock up on pineapple for next time (haha)"

"Yesterday 3rd November 2023 , I came to Frankie and Benny’s with my best friend for her birthday meal. We had the pleasure to be served by Ben, a waiter who was very polite and kind. First of all, our drinks 10/10 for quality and garnish ! A fellow waitress understands the importance and loves the attention to detail Our mains Ben upsold on our mains and ensured to check back to make sure we were satisfied with our meals Desserts Again, Ben was able to tempt us to have a dessert each, in which he was very catering to my friend requesting cold custard on her apple crumble Delivery Without asking, Ben noticed the occasion with the big balloon next to us and brought out the apple crumble with a candle on and sung happy birthday ! "Well what can I say we were looking for food went here about 5pm and was fully booked, went for a walk about and went back couple hours later and a really lovely friendly man showed us to a table upstairs the place really busy and atmosphere really lovely, we later found out man owned restaurant. From beginning to end was amazing place, Waitress so helpful and gave us taxi numbers, and Ryan was brilliant and chatting and being busy whilst taking time for customers, food was really good and hot I had chicken Shuish and my partner had rack of ribs, menu good and drinks lovely we had cocktails. Place on back street of Blackpool near Blackpool Tower. Restaurant clean and tidy and so well run would absolutely recommend and use again next time in Blackpool."

They kept our drinks topped up, checked on us regularly and were so fun and friendly. "we had a disappointing experience with a pub lunch, but frankie and benny are prepared for this disappointment. the personal was great. they found us a table for five big adults. they quickly took our drink order and delivered exactly what we ordered, including the special drink request of my father. we shared a meat festival star and a pizza style garlauchbrot. it was just enough to the juices flow for our main courses and tasted fantastic the most important courses were also fab. my sister in law loves her grill sauce. the penny of my mother came out hot. my salat was right, I wanted some extra salat dressing just for the case, but I didn't need it. the Speck double cheeseburger defeated my sister. my dad really enjoyed his ribs when we approached them. puddings were really nice to brownies and chocolate fudge cake for my sister and sister in law. dad had apple cake that comes with both vinegar and ice cream. I had the frightened basket cream, caramel ice cream and banane in a cookie shaped basket. we all agreed that eating was much better than we could have gotten in the pub and the service was absolutely extraordinary. They also brought me a cupcake with a candle so I could fly out. they played stevie wonders happy birthday. I was really touched, and when it came to the bill, my sister in the law loaded the francie and benny app on her phone and we have 50% of our main courses. my father was very satisfied/ I can't stress how good the service was. all the staff members were happy that our meals felt special and I even have a box to bring my cupcake home. I think all our meal times will go there. happier place for us."

"I gave the food a rating of 5 because we did not eat, so it would have been unfair to judge it. The exterior of the restaurant was disappointing, with glasses scattered everywhere and every table filled with empty dishes. The interior was also lacking in cleanliness, with sticky tables that I had to clean myself. Despite the empty bar inside, the service was slow. My cocktail was poorly made, with layers of syrups and alcohol as it was not shaken properly. I had to stir it for a long time to mix it all together with the ice. Additionally, there were young girls drunk and crying in the restroom. Overall, I would not return to this restaurant."

"the food was cheap, and the portions were good, the staff was brilliant, cheerful and very helpful. the atmosphere was beautiful, with a view over piccadilly gardens that became better than the night dark. free homemade limonade at the arrival was also a beautiful note and tasted wonderful. the employees gave enough time to choose drinks first, then we left again so that we could choose food orders. the service was fast and the food was hot. the personal did not suggest us at all. so all in all, it was a nice experience, I would highly recommend."

"Waiting staff were brilliant and couldn’t have been more apologetic. However they are fighting a losing battle as ‘just eat’ is obviously king as the kitchen NEVER Stopped the entire 2 1/2 hours we were there. The customers IN the restaurant were waiting an age for food and drinks but you can’t fault the staff the company wants revenue and they certainly had a big take away trade. That’s great until walk in customers get peed off waiting and don’t go there but to the other outlets nearby. The staff get the brunt of the Instore customers waiting 50 mins for a pizza really is shocking.when it came one was excellent the other average we only got ours as we complained. The manageress was excellent and couldn’t have been more apologetic but she needs a separate kitchen for takeaway orders or if it carries on the place will shut anyway! Great staff shame as they won’t get tips as everyone’s naffed off!!"

"We visited on Sunday 27th Feb. The staff was really helpful and friendly. I went up to order at the bar and I have to say that it is the stickiest place I've ever visited. The bar was sticky, menus were sticky. I'm not sure what it was but it was on our table menus too. The food was really good. It took a little while so it wasn't really hot. I had Smothered Chicken and my partner had the Rump Steak. My chicken was nice but the peas and chips were cold. We had a bottle of wine we hadn't finished and a really nice boy who had brought us our food allowed us to take it outside to finish it up in the night air. This is a really nice restaurant with good food, a good atmosphere and great staff. Thank you!"

"Would have left no stars if i had the option. I am an international person living in the UK for 2 years now and I have used my BRP (BIOMETRIC RESIDENT PERMIT) the offical identity proof that UK gov gives to people for everything. The Derby S&L bouncer denied me entry because he said they don’t accept my ID proof? He looked like he was not sober and was so rude to me and my friend. Will never go to this place again it’s almost racist behaviour. Disappointed because clearly the team is not trained with their job and dont even know the most common identity proof that international students/residents have."

"we went to a laune here while we were in jail and were not disappointed. I was in other cosmos, especially the one in sheffield and knew what to expect. but this one exceeded my expectations. all staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. eating was quickly distributed so it was hot, and of great quality, especially for a buffet. the portions from the live cookery were very generous. the cocos protocols made us feel safe. we would definitely return!"

"Me and my fiancé visited this bar on Saturday. When standing for over min at the bar I have noticed that the bar men was serving people who joined after me. When I moved a bit further down he then just looked at me..., no hi , no sorry for your wait , not even what can I get you! Ive ordered a mohito and pinacolada where then he said point blank I can’t do mohito but I can pinacolada. I was a bit confused but it was so loud I couldn’t be bothered to ask why not so ordered something else. After an hour or so my fiancée went to the bar and stood in the same place where I did, again completely ignored for min he said to the barman why is he serving people who got there after him? He said we don’t serve anyone who is standing at the side. Mind you when we go there the reason we stood there is because there were girls before us getting their drinks from him. When questioned why didn’t he a knowledge us but instead ignored us? He started to getting aggressively shouting. He was the most miserable, unfriendly person I have ever been served by and on top rude! I don’t know his name but he was pretty short, short light hair with a bold patch and foreign accent. I will be taking this matter further until someone tells me why is he allowed to treat your customers this way!"

"Heard so many good reviews about Quays gastro bar in portrush so called in on a Friday around 7.00pm. It was quite busy with holiday families however we had a short wait in the beer garden which was very pleasant and had a beer during our wait for restaurant. The restaurant itself was in contrast to the beer garden was very dark in fact the walls were painted black and ambiance not great for a dining experience (we would have been happy sitting in the enclosed section of the beer garden) The meal itself was fair to poor, my rump steak texture was not like it should be I had the feeling it was put through some sort of tenderising process and not great like a good steak freshly cooked should be, garlic fries were just ok. My wife chicken strips coated in breadcrumbs the coating so salty she could not eat them, I am more salt tolerant but they were so salty I could not eat them either. We are not people who complain and the staff were very pleasant and I did leave a tip. So Quays I have to say huge disappointment and will not return."

"itsu is a fast casual restaurant with a slightly higher feeling, but with reasonable trips. the menu is Asian inspired and seems to be more engraved in Japanese. the vegan offers of itsu have expanded considerably in the course of the years to include some delicious offers that are all marked on the menu and on the food packaging. the detox miso noodle soup is still one of my favorite (and it is low calorie) but sometimes it can be too much psychtang (depending on who does it). my new favorite menus include the veggie dragon roll (complete with vegan mayo the veggie meatballs coconut soup and the veggie gyoza n bowloodle. there are many additional vegan and vegetarian options offered not in my review that are also worth trying. as already mentioned, everything is marked on the menu and on the packaging. most employees seem pretty conscious and worth knowing for vegan options (a more common and accepted diet in Britain) for the case that they have asked to have ingredients menu elements. (I personally would rate this a 3.5 because it is a chain, but it pushes up to 4 because the half-value ratings are not allowed and this is actually a nice, higher quality and healthy food option"
