"Upon arriving at Issho, we were greeted swiftly by a friendly member of staff and led to our table outside on the terrace overlooking the centre of Leeds (it was heated). No sooner had we sat down, were we provided with the wine list and food menu to which we selected our Sauvignon blanc from New Zealand to accompany our sushi rolls, spicy pork bao bun, and king scallops. The food arrived quickly, its presentation was immaculate and above all it was flavoursome with richness and depth. It is some of the best sushi I have ever eaten. It was so good we ordered the same two dishes again (crab roll and bao bun) I will be returning without hesitation."
