"It is a place that does not come in many guides and, despite these claims, not many people know it. tower 42, once the roof of Londoners (the grey tower that stands out in the city next to the omnipresent gherkin has, on its last floor, a restaurant/bar of cocktails the tables are arranged by the windows, which go from the ceiling to the floor. the views, mainly in south/west orientation are spectacular, especially at sunset, none of the other world and of course face. That is, cocktails (for Londoners) have a reasonable price that with the advantage of the views becomes a good value for money has a somewhat restricted schedule and it is convenient to book."

"I've been in a couple of times, and enjoyed it, but this time it fell short. the service was very slow and inattentive, it took them to the end of the meal to bring us ice and lemon for our drinks, which we ordered at the beginning of the meal and eat ourselves, while extremely generous in its portion sizes, was disappointing. the starters were good, but the main thing (we had all chickens in different iterations that were dry and uninteresting). we'll give him one because one. Maybe it was just that they were packed out on a Friday night. they gave us a loan to the bill that was estimated."

"The food was excellent, this is our second visit. On our first visit we ate downstairs and this time we were upstairs. The restaurant was not full so this did make the atmosphere a little flat although the food made up for this. This is a relaxed restaurant with friendly staff, it very much feels like a family business which we liked (Just to give an idea, the staff all took a break half way through the night and sat in the restaurant for a meal). As long as you go and expect an informal approach then you will not be disappointed, the food is wonderful."

"Wow!!! My partner and I ate at The Angel Curry Centre this week. The food was excellent. You can bring your own wine/ beer which cuts the bill down considerably which is brilliant considering the cost of living. I even had lunch the next day because of the huge left overs.The waiters and chefs, they have two, Ahmed Koxes who has been there for 30 years and Nizam Uddin Ovek who has been there 22years were just lovely. Their amazing waiter gave us a full history lesson on Indian, Pakistani and Bengali relations! What a fabulous gem in Chapel Market Angel. Incandescent Sean here"

"I've been going to Oxford for 3 years now and in that time to be frank struggled to find a decent go to restaurant. I can now say with delight i've found my destination. I present SPICED ROOTS a little caribbean culinary gem. The fresh perfectly cooked food is absolutely delicious and gives off that home cooked by mummy vibe and is beautifully presented. The chilli and garlic prawns had my eyes closed Mark Weins style (if you know you know) so juicy with an incredible depth of flavour, the Trini doubles not only were seasoned to perfection they left you wanting more and the Jerk chicken spring rolls were an absolute triumph. For mains we had the ackee and callaloo Jerk Tempah (vegetarian) and the Jerk chicken. Both came with rice peas, plaintain and salad. Not only were the portions huge the flavours of both dishes were just mind blowingly delicious. Then we embarked on dessert and had the beautiful spiced rum cake and a selection of 3 home made ice creams namely Coconut, Guinness and the old Caribbean favourite Rum and Raisin, all recommended by the owner. It's at this point I feel compelled to speak about the rum raisin ice cream. I've eaten this ice cream on numerous occasions at numerous locations in Jamaica over my many years and I tell you no word of a lie this was hands down the best rum and raisin ice cream I've ever tasted, it literally left us speechless. So to summarise, this place has great food, great music, great service and a wonderfully charming owner who's totally invested in serving great, incredibly tasty, authentic Caribbean food clearly prepared with love. What more could you ask for. Fair to say it was meant to be. Uncle Jay."

"we recently moved to bournemouth and in our opposite there are only 2 “Bubble Tea” places. I wish I visited tealith first, because the other was simply not worth going back. tealith has a nice selection and a visit is definitely...not enough to taste everything they have to offer. there are also many flavor combinations that they can make with the aromatized pearls and nata de coco. I love the paperstroh touch they do, although the cover with it pierce is a challenge (we recommend them to use instore hard straws to pierce the movie before they go). the ordering process is straight and they can control the sweet and even the ice in their militia. if I live closer, I will probably live in daily life, as it is also favorable. they give them a device while they wait what is buzzed when their order is ready to collect. the staff are friendly and helpful in selecting their order. I can't get enough of it! we will definitely go back. I can see that the place is packed, although in busy times, as the space is a bit on the small side, but that by the way, their bubble tea is worth to remain silent."

"My friend and I decided to try Tealith during a day trip to Bath. I appreciated their alternative milk options, as my friend is lactose intolerant. They also had a menu in Chinese, which would be helpful for non-English-speaking tourists. The bubble tea we ordered was just okay; we got a matcha latte with boba and soy milk, asking for reduced ice and sugar levels. The drink tasted diluted, possibly due to the request for less sugar. The sweetness of the boba compensated for the lack of flavor. The shop was small and bright, with a few cute stools for customers. The service was good, but not exceptional. Overall, I probably wouldn't return unless I was craving bubble tea."

"Very disappointing. Service was bad had to ask for tap water twice and took ages to get some (only got it during our second course). The food was alright. I had the aubergine hot pot which only had about 3 pieces of aubergine and the pot was only half full. Rice wasn’t even included. The desert was only one mochi ball, and it was completely melted! It looked like soup... asked for a new one and got the same ones back. Asked for new ones again but different flavour, and these were rock hard. You couldn’t even bight into them. The waiter also made a passive aggressive comment whilst serving it. The service in general made us feel very uncomfortable. The guy at the bar kept staring at me and talking to someone else which made it look like they were talking about us. When we wanted to pay and leave, no one was in sight. We were waiting for at least 15 minutes until someone showed up and we could pay the bill. Overall, negative experience. Didn’t feel welcome, food wasn’t worth the money and poor service."

"Bar Salsa is definitely going to become a favourite place of mine to visit on a regular basis. I discovered it two weekends ago whilst exploring Soho, Covent Garden and Leicester Square with a friend. We were keen to catch up and so wanted to find a bar to sit down and have a relaxing drink. We were attracted to Bar Salsa instantly due to its vibrancy and fairy lights (very girly I know but they really would look lovely in the evening too! We went into the bar which set alight your senses. You just don 't know where to look! It has chic furnishings and quirky murals/paintings on the walls which were so bright and vibrant! Being a creative pair we were became very intrigued by the venue and took a look around downstairs. Downstairs was the 'club/bar ' area very dim let with an array of lights (even disco lights on the dance floor featuring different levels of flooring. It was so exhilarating; we instantly wanted to return on another occasion especially after we discovered they offer salsa nights for minimal money. The thought of dancing away to the Spanish club music soon became too much for us and we decided to return later on with boyfriends in tow (of course they wanted to salsa who wouldn 't?! . We ordered a bottle of wine to share which was good value for money. They also informed us that it would soon be happy hour and all cocktails would be at least half price! We were definitely staying! We sat in the outside courtyard in the sun which was lovely. The ambiance was great with people chatting away, we didn 't even notice the big, busy main road next to us! Happy hour soon arose and we ordered two cocktails at the downstairs bar. These were delicious, some of the best cocktails we had ever had! If we hadn 't had to have left to meet my friend 's boyfriend we would have stayed in there all evening! We did return in the evening but unfortunately didn 't enter as entry price rises after 9:00pm. Although highly disappointed by this we will no doubt return! I rated the Salsa bar a 4.5, we had a delightful experience but we are yet to experience the club and salsa.I definitely recommend any upbeat, easy going person to visit especially if they love music, dancing and cocktails!"

"I loved this place. on Friday night at 6.30 a.m., a table stood up, although we had not booked. to make the dinge easy we had the set menu for 2 and it was excellent. hot fresh food purchased to the with little delay . can recommend the pinot noir that went down a tasty bite. we ended up with a tai-chee tea and though again delicious, but only too much. Perhaps a small cup would be sufficient, but not complaining. Finally, you can drink as much as you want. thanks to waiters who were attentive and informative."

"I love Thai food but rarely enjoy it because either it isn't authentic or it's freaking expensive. This place makes me enjoy Thai food the way I like it Authentic and Great value for money. The food is made and served by a great bunch of women from Thailand. They cook most food to order and they taste so authentic. We ordered: Spring rolls £3.50) which were okay not superb but okay. Prawn £5.50) and Chicken £5.00) Pad Thai which were so amazingly tasty and perfect quantity. Even the kids enjoyed eating them. Prawn Green curry with rice £5.50) yummy and wish it had a bit more Of the gravy as it want enough for the rice provided. Finished off with a milkshake £2.50) reminded me of the shakes you get in Asia. Tasty! The staff are amazing and friendly. They don't talk much but when they do they are polite and smiling. The seating is limited as they share a market. Located well. Parking is available right outside this market at £1.30 cash only for an hour. Overall I'm glad I found this stall. A bit away from Dartford but if I'm in Gravesend or craving for a nice Thai food, I know where to go!"

"By far one of the best food halls in the country!!! If not the best in the country. A huge huge selection of all far east Asian restaurants including Japanese, Chinese, Malaysian, Vietnamese etc. Portions are massive! I did warn you! Prices are not that cheap but this is reflected in portion size. Fore example sweet and sour chicken is approx 12.9 but the taste is the real winner! The food does not taste like any other local takeaway. The concept is amazing and is my go to for Asian food!"

"We visited lakeside for my step daughters birthday and decided at the end of our trip to get bubble tea before our journey home. We have been to a few bubble tea places in the past and never had any problems. So as bubbleology was closest we decided to try it. We first had problems when ordering, the gentleman on the till seemed to struggle to take our order but when I see the receipt I see our 5 drinks were correct so went round to wait at the waiting area. Our next problem came when our drinks were ready, only 2 out of 5 of them was correct so after 10 minutes of correcting we finally had our drinks which caused a meltdown for my autistic niece as one of the men who I later found out was the manager was being quite rude. We walked away with our correct drinks and put it behind us laughing a little to ourselves about how difficult it had been just to get some bubble tea. Unfortunately the drama wasn’t over... 3 of the kids who had milky bubble tea that were the ones that had been wrong all started complaining. One was lumpy (which ended with the child gagging and going into another autistic meltdown), the other 2 complaining it didn’t taste right and refusing to drink it. There was definitely something not right with the drinks so we made our way back to bubbleology. The first lady we spoke to was amazing, she was apologetic and offered us a full refund. Unfortunately the manager then got involved and was not so nice and was actually extremely rude and made my mum take one of the drinks out of the bin as one of the kids had thrown the drink in the bin in disgust before we could stop them. He reluctantly gave us our refund (which I am still waiting to reach my bank today) I have never experience a manager with such bad management and people skills. The young lady was amazing though and did help make the situation a little less stressful as i hate confrontation, its a shame she is not the manager. If the young lady is reading this thank you again for your help. It did put a bit of a spoiler to the end of our trip including one of the kids feeling sick. I hope the manager gets some extra training and works on his people skills"

"My friend and I were looking for vegetarian dim sum, and she found this gem of a place online. What a fantastic find. We had gyozo, mixed veg dim sum, I had a lovely Korean fried chicken dish, with rice, and peanut brownie dessert, which was more of an ice cream sundae. My friend had the vegan katsu, I tried a bit and it was awesome, she had the mochi dessert. All delicious service was excellent, staff were very friendly and attentive. This place has a really good vibe. Unfortunately, I can only give 5 stars , but would happily give more. You must try this lovely place."

"The sandwich cookie delights of Cutter Squidge are a right showstopper. Heads were turned. I was glad I gave it a go and it was tasty enough, but at £3.90 it’s a little outrageously priced. I went with the raspberry s’more which features a vanilla cookie (or should that be two? , raspberry and marshmallow. And everything tastes great. The marshmallow is homemade and a pillowy fluffiness. The touch of toasting brings out the royal marshmallow flavour. The raspberry cream is tasty without being overpowering and the vanilla cookie holds up well enough. So no real complaints other than the price. I liked it enough but not enough to want to buy another in a hurry. The cakes looked awesome, so that’s probably my go to for a return visit."

"Overall afternoon tea at Feya was good. We were greated by a very polite lady who offered us a seat in the ‚bird cage’ area. The food was great, delicious platter of sweets and canapes, large selection. I have ordered a jasmin tea. It was a tea from a bag (not loose leaves which was a bit dissappointing). The tea teasted nothing like the jasmin, more like grass??? Even the water did not change the colour, so I can tell it was a poor quality tea bag. I’ve ordered a latte at an extra cost, which was very good. The waiting time was 55 min, my friend already finished her coffee. Service was slow, I understood we were forgotten for around 30min and people who came after us were served their AFT first. A bit sad as it was my friend’s birthday celebration, which I have mentioned while booking reservation. The toilet was not super clean. Lots of dust on the walls and in nooks and crannies, definitely a room for improvement."
