"I attended a drag themed bottomless brunch where I paid for both food and drinks. Unfortunately, no food ever arrived despite multiple inquiries. The chef was reportedly rude and told the waiter to leave each time we asked about our order. We waited for food from 1:30 until 4:30 in a cramped booth meant for 8 people but stuffed with 10 hungry ladies. The drag acts had to navigate stairs to interact with everyone due to the venue's multiple levels, making it challenging to enjoy both food and entertainment simultaneously. The Brunch Club has yet to provide a refund for the unsatisfactory experience. I would not recommend this venue due to poor service, overselling, and failure to deliver on orders. I do not plan on returning."

"The service at Coast is always exceptional, but one disappointment is the limited vegetarian options. During my last visit, I enjoyed the halloumi burger, but it was not available this time. Instead, it had been replaced by a sweet potato and bean burger, which was also unavailable. However, the waiter kindly offered to get a halloumi burger for me, which was wonderful. I just don’t understand why they can’t offer both options, along with alternatives to burgers. There are so many delicious non-meat dishes to choose from—why limit the menu? That said, we will definitely return, as the restaurant is a favorite for the whole family. I'm also glad I found a discount code, as I do think the prices are on the higher side."

"This pub has undergone an amazing transformation! We are thrilled with the positive changes. We've been visiting this establishment for 16 years, and it's wonderful to be able to have dinner after 8 PM. The food is fantastic—so delicious and beautifully presented by the Italian chef. Many items were not available, and the payment system was unreliable, resulting in having to order at the counter. Despite being told that mac and cheese was unavailable, a friend was able to order it through the app. Overall, the service was disorganized and the food was average, arriving suspiciously quickly as if it had been reheated. Will not be returning."

"Four ladies in their obvious 50’s tried to get in on a friday night fir a drink- before the comment we were not drunk at all- only had one drink somewhere else. The bouncer asked fir ID for which we all laughed then realised he was serious. I happened to have my driving licence which he then scratched to check it was not fake!!! He said it was company policy that everyone had to have ID however one of the group had been there a few weeks before on a Friday at the sane and was allowed in. This is policy gone made! Never felt so humiliated! Will never go there again. The world has gone mad! We were not rude, noisy or drunk. Dont expect to be treated like that at my age!"

"Nice little pub, near the station, with booths, each with its own screen so a sports pub then I suppose.... "Turing Tap has long been a favourite of ours. Several ales on tap at moderate prices, and a convenient location, plus food available. Space is generally not hard to find too. The music can be a little too loud for convenient conversation, and I am not sure how famous introvert Alan Turing would feel about this particular tribute The Oxford was at least as good a name but for the main part it simply has what you want from a pub."

"On Friday 18th May we visited this establishment as it was my daughter’s birthday and I wanted to treat her to a celebration meal. As it was a working day we couldn’t meet until after she finished work. Unfortunately due to problems with buses we were a little later than we had anticipated. Our party consisted of my daughter, 10 year old grand daughter a 13 year old son of her sister in law and myself. After perusing the menu we ordered just before 6pm. Even then there were problems as the man behind the bar didn’t know what a Stout was even though it was shown on the Drinks Menu. The food arrived at about 6.30 with an announcement that we had to leave by 7pm (I presume because because of the children) which meant desserts were out of the question. It also meant that complaining about the stone cold French fries was also not viable. This was the first visit for about 4 years when we were driven out by very loud music being more than in the background. The latest visit was in effect giving the premises a second chance. I am most annoyed that had we been advised of the time restriction at the point of ordering, then we would have had an opportunity to go elsewhere."

"On Saturday, May 29, I visited for lunch and was truly impressed by the adherence to COVID-19 regulations, along with the speedy table service. I enjoyed nachos, sweet potatoes, and a delightful coconut cocktail. The food was fresh and delicious. Although I'm not a big sports fan, I brought my book, and I appreciated that there are plenty of tables available where you don't have to sit near a screen if you prefer not to. I believe this place has a fantastic atmosphere, especially when it's busy and there's an event happening, and I would love to come back again!"

"I had been excited for weeks to visit red dog saloon as I have visited before and the chicken was good. We went on a Saturday evening and firstly it was very busy. We had booked a table so we’re seated after a short wait. Service was slow but it was busy. We ordered two main dishes (both chicken), a side of burnt end mash and a side of nachos. The chicken was very good. Plentiful in portion size and great flavour. This was the highlight of the meal. The mash was one of the most atrocious portions of mash I have ever laid eyes on. Swimming in what could only be described as fat rather than gravy. No taste other than fat and mash of such questionable consistency it didn’t appear there most of the time. This needs removing from the menu or changing asap! Scandalous presentation for £7.50. Nachos were stale and disappointing. No salsa and cheese on them also had no flavour. Not great for the £10.50 we paid for them. Service continued to slow the longer we stayed to the point where our plates were not cleared after our meal. Servers were often clearing tables that were empty rather than attending customers still at the restaurant (who may continue to spend money on drinks or desserts) or were talking amongst each other. We sat staring at the cold congealed mess of mashy fat before getting up, asked to pay with a server and left. Left disappointed as they had been great on previous visits. Sadly lost a customer here."
