"Camel One is one of those places that has been a Wilmslow Rd staple for a long time. We have eaten many times here and usually you get a good quality curry. More recently, last couple of times even though the food has still been good the service has declined. In particular the attitude of the staff is extremely sexist. Last time I visited, there were 2 wait staff that were doing something and didn't acknowledge me, I was first in line when 2 men walked in. Both male waiters asked each of the men for their order whilst totally ignoring me even though I was there first. A third waiter realised what they had done and sheepishly asked for my order. On this visit, I went in with my husband and even though I was closest to the guy on the till and was about to order, they totally ignored me once again and asked my husband what he wanted to order. We decided to go for a chicken curry with roti and the samosas on display looked delicious so we decided to opt for a meat and a veg samosa too all to take home. When we got home the curry was absolutely delicious couldn't fault it at all and it was extremely tasty. The samosas however were not great. They didn't look anywhere as nice as the shop either. It was clear that they had picked out some that didn't look anywhere as near as appetising as the shop. The summary is that the food is good but they need to get better at seeing their female customers and not just the men. For how they made me feel as a customer I can only give them 2 stars. Had it been based on the food (curry only) it would have been a 4."

"Well what an experience i had in this restaurant Thursday 11th May. My First impressions was lovely surroundings, the food was very tasty but when you discover a cigarette lighter deep down in your bowl of byriani rice and complain and to be accused of putting it in the rice to avoid paying is absolutely outrageous! I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone! Disgraceful! Note to the management you have my number and i suggest you check your cctv to see what actually happened lastnight."

"As soon as I entered the modern and clean restaurant, I received a very warm welcome. The space was quite large with separate areas for couples, families, and parties. I was asked about my meal, which included biryani and t.dhall. The food was incredibly delicious, with a nice lightness to it and a perfect blend of aromatic spices. The quality of the lamb used was exceptional. Both my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals and we will definitely be returning with our extended family next time."

"I absolutely love their pizza and peri chicken with rice, it's my favorite! The food is always fresh and super tasty. I would definitely recommend it. The only downside is their chicken wings are on the small side, almost the size of my pinky finger, so I give it 4 stars. But overall, I love this place!"

"What a shame . Our local restaurant of 8 years must have been took over by new management. Past 5+ deliveries (due to lock down otherwise we’d have been in the restaurant have been wrong with either bits missing or wrong orders. Called again after usual popadom onions and sauce missing and told that these wasn’t ordered so our fault. Explained these have always been included and told not their problem and hung up. On the lookout for new place. Certainly won’t be there again"

"If you like Sugar and salt this is the place for you. Tried a few dishes, all cream sauces taste the same and loaded with sugar. Pakora loaded with salt. Shame this place has declined, their curry sauce used to be the best years ago under the hotel, now everything is loaded with sugar and salt. Hope this place gets its self back to the good old days. Also they own the carry out at Hardgate cross besotted McHughs Estate agents, there are much better places like Rajani in Bearsden who deliver and don’t do re-heats even with the starters. They also don’t use colouring and their prawns are much larger. Hope the Bombay sort themselves out and get back to the good old days and cut back on colouring and additive’s and sugar salt. Fresh and no more reheats will get you back to the best in Clydebank. Please do it !!"

"First time.e trying Mr cod, sort of a last minute decision as no one fancied a roast because of the weather. So we decided fish n chips and with our usual local chippy closed we chose to give me cod a try and we weren't disappointed. I had haddock, the wifey a kebab and chips, mum cod n chips and my lil sister sausage and chips. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed there food. We ordered and collected in store. Was reasonable prices and decent size portions all round. A real light crisp batter and both fish cooked fresh. Friendly counter service too."

"We were greeted with papadoms and a variety of sauces including chutney, mango, pickled achaar. The large mix grill had a variety of meat with kebab, chicken, wings and lamb chops which were tasty. Tried the lamb karahi, chicken karahi and ghoust saag. All curries were flavourful with a decent amount of spice, which I enjoyed as it was a good level of spice for me personally. If you are a fan of spicy spicy food, this probably won’t hit the spot. Best naans I have ever had! Recommend opting for these. They are amazingly soft. I loved the mango lassi, sweetness to compliment my meal. Chips were over fried. Beautiful interior, clean toilets and good customer service."

"In Reading, it seems like there's a Mr Cod on every corner, but who knows if that's true? Not that it matters to me - all I care about is satisfying my craving for chicken, and Mr Cod always delivers. They serve up delicious fried chicken, crispy chips, and refreshing fizzy drinks with the efficiency you'd expect. Despite the limited communication behind masks and Perspex, the staff handle it all with grace. It's hard to strike up a conversation with other customers, who are too absorbed in their phones, but that's just the way things are these days. As I wait for my order, my mind drifts back to simpler times, but I'm brought back to the present when my food is handed to me. I weave through the crowd of delivery drivers and head out into the night, knowing I'll be back at Mr Cod before long. But for now, I am happy and content with a box of fried chicken in hand - nothing can bring me down!"

"We made a reservation for Friday afternoon for Lunch and upon arrival found restaurent was closed . To our luck chef Deepak Dhami was there and he ensured that our date was saved . He opened the restaurent for us , made us comfortable , played lovely Music , Poured us some wine and took our order . He personally served us the food on table and to my surprise every single dish was amazing we tried Tandoori chicken , Tawa fry fish, Chilli chicken , Lamb roganjosh with chilli and garlic naan . We were so impressed by food , service and th chef’s gesture . He is an amazing guy . We will certainly visit again .Thanks Deepak for giving us the experience and saving our date . Archana Anish"

"After a bad experience with some discrimination towards myself and my wife during lockdown, we gave it another shot, (basically in an act of desperation as hadn't eaten all day after running kitchens and getting home later than usual so nothing else open! However, it was a completely different experience this time. Friendly, polite and food lovely, no sign of the individual from lockdown, thankfully! Happy we were in a position we HAD to try you again, just a shame about the individual you had there before or we would have been regular customers before now living opposite you!"

"The food and service at this restaurant were excellent, especially from our server Franco. The pani puri was one of the best I have had in the UK, and the chaats and main courses were absolutely delicious.
