"a stop before I hit the Trafford center, decided to hit an old swarm, in these days I float and go rusholme chippy, but tied some thunder, so we are here ps chef man is right sound meat / flesh thunder: it is the light red type, but has a similar texture like masas, can appear dry but I think it is because it is. I order a little moistness there, but not the wine that is drowned in the sauce to cover the taste. tasty, but had better chicken tikka: really tasty level of flavor and taste and well cooked with something sharp, nice 8/10 brot fresh made by Chef-Manns assistent, but it was a bit thin and had not carved fluffy bags, all in all was a little small, but still nice. very nice sauces: chilli sauce was very potent as I like it, but it didn't have much taste with the heat to go yogurt sauce was nice, but a bit runny in consistency sort that out and they are on a winner 8/10 worth 7.90 with a dose rubicon seemed steep tbh, should be a 5 6 quid effort 7/10 eatable again because the yogurt sauce but sort them that yogurt sauce from boss mann 8/10 total value 38/50 is decent, I'm just stingy with the not worth hitting and much better than some of the other places around"

Tawa for 2 was spot on, tasty food. Just recommend Diners to bring their own drinks, we had paid £5.40 for a glass bottle of Irn Bru.

This place is absolutely disgusting. Food was AWFUL!! Got a mixed Doner Chicken seekh on Naan. The Doner meat was hard chewy like they gave me last nights leftovers out of the Pot

regular customer here! fresh food every time I visit, a large customer service can always trust in a decent meal when I'm here. I'm a big eater and their portions are just perfect!

Tasty food. Real taste like Lahori style, or Mian g Hasanabdal. I found this taste after 7 years. No sweet sauce in Karahi. Every thing ordered found tasty. Nice addition in my future list.

the kamel toe is a beautiful place to get a chicken donner. where other places have the right food color to make the thunder an eye, this place also gets the spicy mix exactly right. the thunder is not dry and juicy. I would recommend the camel toe and think it's a good food to crash.

this inconvenient takeaway delivers the best huh and look kebab in the curry mile. I was in some of the high-end restaurants and can honestly say the kebabs here are absolutely phenomenal. always when I'm in a lot of places, I'm sure I'm eating at this place. Resturants can not be decorated as beautiful as some of the others in the curry mile, but the culinary taste they have experienced more than recommended for them.

If you're looking to overpay for subpar food, this is the place for you! I ordered the Camel platter, which was decent, and two Aryans from the menu priced at £1 each. However, when it came time to pay, we were informed that we had actually been served a £3.50 mango lassi, which tasted like supermarket milk in a plastic cup. Despite reminding the waiter that we had ordered Aryans, he rudely insisted we pay. Exhausted from fasting during Ramadan and a long 5-hour journey, I didn't have the energy to argue. Furthermore, the kitchen in the back looked like something out of a WW2 field hospital.

I had a portion of samosas to start and had chilli sauce and mint yoghurt on them. The chilli sauce was so salty I could hardly eat it. I scraped off my samosas and managed to salvage them. The samosas were quite nice apart from the edges of the pastry that were almost too tough to chew. I had mixed seekh and chicken tikka kebab on naan. The seekh was very dry and over cooked. The chicken was nice though. I avoided the chilli sauce having had it on my samosas. The kebab was served on a plastic naan tray, with no plate, so as I ate it the sauces dripped straight through on to the table which was pretty inconvenient. Years ago this was my go-to kebab stop in Rusholme. I'll try somewhere else n...

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
