"It's unfortunate that this restaurant has potential with its tasty food, but the service is severely lacking. In the five times we've ordered, our food was delivered incorrectly each time. The first time I arranged for collection, they hadn't even checked their online orders. The second collection went smoothly, but the third time, our order was wrong again. The premises appear unhygienic, and the staff do not seem to be taking any precautions for COVID-19, such as wearing masks or gloves. Unfortunately, despite the good food, the lack of proper hygiene standards and accuracy in orders make it unlikely that we will return. Out of the eight times we've visited, we've only had a satisfactory experience once."

The prices are reasonable. The portions may seem small, but they are actually quite filling. It can get busy, so it's best to make a reservation or arrive early. "I recently enjoyed a wonderful set meal at this restaurant. The chicken tikka and seekh kebab starters, along with the salad, onion salad, and minted yogurt, were all delicious. The portion sizes were generous and the naan bread was soft and excellent. However, two of the main courses were somewhat disappointing as they were too sweet. The chicken tikka masala and mattar paneer seemed overly sweet, almost like a dessert. It's a shame because the underlying flavors were good. I would have given a higher rating if it weren't for this issue. We had booked online and received a text message notifying us that delivery would be delayed by 40 minutes. Initially, we considered canceling our order. However, after making a phone call, our meal was delivered in just 30 minutes. It's definitely worth calling to place your order!"

"I visited recently with my sister and we were both very impressed. I had curry and my sister had ravioli, both meals were excellent! There is something for everyone including loads of choice for vegetarians. They also serve some yummy cocktails. The staff were really welcoming and attentive. "This is a real little gem of a place.We went in early evening when not many customers were in so can't really comment on the atmosphere but the food was excellent and the staff attentive. We had the buffet which consisted of 5 or 6 different starters and about 10 curries to try. The Lamb Achari and the Beef Jalfrezi were outstanding with succulent pieces of tender meat in tasty, spicy sauces. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant and hope to return before my stay in Glasgow is over."

"The wife and I ordered several dishes but one that cost nearly nine pound had only some noodles and a bit of chicken in it. I contacted the restaurant to complain and the manager was most unhelpful borderline aggressive and said to contact Deliveroo as they could not help. I suggested that Deliveroo were probably not responsible for the quality size of food leaving their kitchen but the manager was not having it and hung up on me. "Wow, what an amazing experience we had this evening. We where greeted with a friendly and polite waiter and even the owner came to introduce himself. The service is 5*, we didn't wait long to be served with a selection of drinks and fine wines and then on to our table. Whilst at the table the waiter pulled out chairs and seated us with our napkins on our laps what an amazing experience this was. Now on to the food, it was absolutely delicious, it was freshly prepared and served hot. the curry was amazing nice and full of flavour, Peshawari naan was tasty and generous in size. Even the own catered for my 3 year old child as she's a fussy eater with the classic chips and nuggets. Overall this restaurant is amazing, friendly and polite staff with a very professional owner. "We went to this restaurant on December 31st to fuel up before New Year's Eve. There were 7 of us and overall, the service and reservation went smoothly. The service was very friendly, but a bit rushed, which is to be expected at a busy restaurant around New Year's Eve. There were a few times when a drink was forgotten, but it was quickly resolved when brought to their attention. The food was delicious, I was thoroughly impressed. "Eaten at the restaurant and had take aways from the Spice Lounge for a number of years and they are consistently good. Tonight we ordered 6 different meals for a take away and every one of us commented it was the best curry they've had for a long time. "So where do I begin.... I thought I 'd try this establishment again after having a good ish experience, this time As a take away. Please understand I live 2 roads away from this restaurant and waited an hour and 5 minutes for my food! Whilst on the phone to an incompetent manager the food was received and was STONE cold! The excuse was given to me from the manager that yes it is only 25 minutes late what is the big problem which I brought to his attention that it was NOT 25 minutes late as I was told 30 minutes remember 1hour 5minutes! I requested a full refund in which I was called by a senior manager who was at home. This coward of a man is rude, unknowledgeable, incompetent and disgusting and is very lucky he has not met me in person! Especially after hanging up on me because he didn 't like it when I made a fool of his solutions as they were totally a joke. He started the conversation by calling me a liar, suggesting I TEXT him my bank details for a refund to which I declined for obvious reason, he then proceeded to shout and try to be sarcastic! Biggest mistake to make and didn 't like it when I put him in his place. Then demanded I never order from him again and that I was wasting my time as his restaurant was the absolute best I the area! HAHAHA funny mate. After an hour of arguing and him contradicting his own points I made sure he understood that receiving my refund immediately was the best solution as I would take this further.
