"I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, as the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. The service is exceptional and truly unmatched. I visited recently on New Year's Eve, and thanks to the management and staff, it was a fantastic night. I was disappointed to learn that they are no longer allowed to have their marquee. I urge the authorities to reconsider this decision, as Standish is growing and should be allowed to evolve rather than be held back by outdated regulations. By the way, I’m 75 years old."

"would not recommend this place. my friend and I had an event to halloween floorless drinks, pizza and a live band booked. When we arrived, we couldn't get in and I was cleaning up the place, but no answer. At some point one found a back door that we could get through, but there were no signs that point us in this direction. When we came in, we were told that they had not sold enough tickets to stay through the sitting ass, and the band will not begin until my friend and I was going to end plans for after our session so that we would not see the band if we canceled our plans and stayed. the drinks were good! I stayed at the prosecco as the pornstar martini was too sweet for me, but my friend really liked the espresso martini. toilets cubiken locked, no looting, and so dark I had to use my phone burners while I was in there. my friend is a vegetarian and we were only advertised with pfefferoni pizza, not offered the vegan margarita. the pizza tasted good, but there was a hair on the teller, so it sent back. it didn't feel like a floorless pizza, they just came and gave you one when they felt that way, so we had only the band was out from the beginning and was really nice."

"A large bar/restaurant with a separate vegan menu, live music and an outside terrace. We first ate at The Rock Garden as part of a group of 17 vegans, who were trying out the new vegan menu on a Saturday night. The service was excellent with great food at cheap prices, lively atmosphere, music dancing! The portions were large, the food was tasty and all the vegetables were freshly inventively prepared. There is a choice of vegan cheese or cheeseless for the pizzas. They also stock vegan wine, which is not listed on the menu, but you can ask for it. We would recommend the Tomato Bruschetta and the Fajitas. The salads are pretty awesome, also, with lots of sundried tomatoes. You have to order and pay at the bar, which we did separately, but they managed to bring out all our food together. There is a gluten free menu, a vegetarian and a vegan menu. All the staff are smiley and helpful. There was live music which kept us dancing until late, after our meal. We now eat here regularly and would recommend the vegan menu to everyone."

"Canny staff, delicious beer, and good rock playing on the stereo...but they cooked one of the worst lamb burgers I 've ever eaten, to my sadness and not-insignificant financial pain, at £11.50 for the privilege. It was specifically the ananya burger , but was so overcooked and dry that I have to assume *any* of their other burgers would meet a similar fate on their kitchen grill. This one was served smeared in what seemed like just a Patak 's curry paste (which can be tasty, when used appropriately, but not in this case , with a few sprigs of cilantro and some jalapeño slices that kinda amassed into one green monolith due to the aforementioned paste. I wish I 'd ordered the pizza instead, and judging by some of the rave reviews for them, I would 've probably been happy. Again, the bar staff seemed canny, and I thoroughly enjoyed the pint I had, but I doubt I 'll be eating here again. I gave an additional star for the potato wedges, which were OK, otherwise the burger was a 1-star deal, and you 'd be bummed at spending a fiver on it, let alone £11.50 Vegetarian options: Their menu lists multiple veggie vegan options for their burgers and pizzas (now that I think about it, maybe the cook doesn 't eat meat, which might go some way to explaining why the lamb burger was completely decimated... . Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3"

"We have driven past this cafe many times but this time we stopped and had lunch. The service was very friendly and the food wonderful. We had a Full Monty breakfast plus smashed avocado and poached eggs on sour dough bread and pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup with hot drinks. They have a great chef as the dishes were beautifully presented and very tasty. We were very impressed and will definitely return as the menu is modern and varied with very good value prices and the place is spotlessly clean. To be recommended."

"I was pleasantly surprised by the fresh and appetizing food displayed on the counter at this restaurant. The raw dessert I tried was delicious. However, I found the burger to be lukewarm and undercooked, and the sauce topping it was disappointing. I ended up having to throw away most of it. The accompanying wedges were decent, but they were served cold. Overall, I would consider returning to this restaurant, but I would not order a burger again. The staff were friendly, but I would trade that for a better burger."

"Cold Town House in Edinburgh is a fantastic pub with a vibrant atmosphere. The fact that they brew their own beer adds a unique touch to the experience. The beer is delicious and the variety of options available is impressive. The pub itself is cozy and inviting, making it a great place to relax and socialize. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend Cold Town House for anyone looking for a great pub with delicious craft beer in Edinburgh."

"Lovely pub with some good vegan options for all 3 courses. Have made a real effort to offer something interesting and not just burgers and sorbet! Staff were friendly and service was quick, although they were very slow to bring us our bill and then take payment. But all in all a good experience and we both really enjoyed the foodSorry, forgot to take a photo of the pineapple pudding, but it was delicious!"

"Popped in this evening for my tea, had the bacon cheese burger which was absolutely phenomenal, followed down by their chocolate brownie which was also very nice, 1 too many pints of cidre and all for a very reasonable price. The bloke behind the bar was very friendly and the ambience of the whole venue was extremely pleasant (hence the extra pint) would definitely recommend my new local!"

"Not sure what the deal is but..... Shot bald owner has zero people skills, not even a thank you. Last two pizzas gave me bad diarrhea. Pizza before those didn't have all the veg toppings. Shame but what can you expect when you pay kids 4 dollars an hour. Guess we will have to drive half an hour to get a pie from now on. Get it together or die like the rest of town. Best of luck"

"I've lived in Borrowdale for two years now and had no idea Sykes Farm in Buttermere had a vegan menu! I feel like I missed out on two years of delicious lunches, so it's time to make up for it. Three delicious desserts on offer; tea loaf, fruit crumble, chocolate torte. Oat, coconut, and soya milk avaable for your hot drinks. A vegan meatball sub with vegan cheese! A vegan spiced pumpkin soup on the specials board today. All marked as such in all their vegan glory. A lovely setting as well with warm and snug lighting and delightful scenic photos of nearby views. Will definitely be recommending to everyone I know."

"My husband and I ordered two smoothies and two main courses. The Golden Bliss smoothie lived up to its name and my husband enjoyed every sip. The Portobello Mushroom and Cheese Melt was delicious, the combination of melted cheese and mushrooms was delightful. The Beetroot Salad with roasted beetroot hummus and quinoa was vibrant and satisfying, part of their special menu. Despite the busy atmosphere, the service was good and the prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and the ambiance. I am excited to try everything on their menu in the future."

"Sunday lunch today was awful. One person ordered the two meat meal, one ordered turkey and one ordered macaroni cheese. The beef was meant to be cooked as their menu slightly pink, in fact it was grey and extremely tough. We sent it back and it came back with turkey which was totally smothered in gravy(which was very thick and strong) the sausage of pigs in blanket which we paid extra for tasted so totally wrong and ‘off’ I spat mine out. The waitress kept telling us that no one else had complained, which is basically saying we are being too fussy, actually don’t care if anyone else complained or not, if I am not happy with the meal I’m not happy. She did offer us a free sweet which we declined. I was totally disappointed with my meal and very surprised as I had been there many times and the food was always very good. We had in fact ordered another small meal as one of the party wanted a slice of beef and they could not supply that so we ordered another small meal, we returned that meal not touched as the beef looked grey and very over cooked. We were offered an alternative which we declined."

"The food was actually not bad at all. I have only ever been to Subway a few times in my life as I don't, or I should say didn't, have confidence in the product. But this last experience has changed my mind on the food. We went for the meatless philly and it was lovely! Not like the images but fast food places rarely produce the food as shown on the images, but it was tasty and I will definitely be going back! Give it a try if you have never had a Subway!"

"Visited Gin rummy yesterday whilst visiting Stoke to meet friends family. Being a regular to a bottomless brunch I would say the food on this bottomless is one of the best I 've been too. You get a great selection and it leaves you feeling fed. The desserts are amazing. Will our server was fabulous his gives 110%. Mandy who owns the bar is absolutely amazing she is extremely friendly. The normal food looked and smelt amazing I will 100% return to try their main menu next time I am in the area! Scott who helps out was very funny and again had fantastic people skills.. the chef was friendly and the other servers who 's names I didn 't catch again were so friendly and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. So helpful putting out extra chairs and tables outside for us.. honestly top marks. Thank you so much to all of you who served us yesterday your service really is impeccable. Gin rummy might not be as 'instagramable ' as some other local businesses but I would choose Gin rummy over and over again based on service and food quality these guys should be no1 choice."

"My wife and I tried Serafino's for a quick date night dinner. We walked into the restaurant and were hit immediately with the lack of A/C. It was about 80 degrees in the dining area. A young lady waited on us. She was nice enough but only had one additional table to us. She didn't offer any information about the menu, specials, things she liked, etc. She only brought water around one time during the meal. The food is expensive compared to other restaurants in the area. The pasta was great but that's all you get no salad no bread unless you pay extra. To end the night, you must pay a twenty percent tip on every check, no matter how many people or what you order. The food was good, but not worth the price with no extras and the 20% tip. We won't go back."

"Always worth coming here if you are in North London they stock the widest variety of vegan junk foods I've seen, and serve a wide variety of hot and cold food like burgers, currywurst and pizza; which is made by vegan pizza experts FED By Water. They are often the lone UK stockist for US vegan brands such as Daiya and Follow Your Heart. If you have a craving for veganised blue cheese dressing or haggis, give them a go. They also stock German drinks such as Fritz Kola and Club Mate which is awesome! The people running the place are friendly, and you can pick up vegan shoes and Secret Society of Vegans merch while you're at it too. Hippies enter through a side door!"
