Cafe Glendwr Glaslyn Ice Cream

Doing some great takeaway pizzas while locked down. Really enjoyable and tasty. Ice creams are always top notch with a great range of flavours. Can't fault them. Oh and a fudgey stick rather than a flake is a revelation

Traveling through Beddgelert we stopped for a quick refreshment break. It was lovely to see the shop still operating after being away for a number of years. Great selection of ices a s sorbets to choose from. Would recommend the cherry ripple (sorry no photos)

Outstanding!! I can see why there is a wall of awards. I have been in the patisserie industry for over 10 years, this is the best ice cream I have tried in Wales. Service was friendly and helpful too. We all had pizza too and we’ve very impressed. Well worth a visit. View menu

Their award winning ice cream cannot be passed, its just not possible as its so good. The walls of awards are a bit of a giveaway, but the choice is amazing be daring try something new!Pity their Pizza place was shut during the packed half term week what were they thinking?

Ice cream was poor this time didn't taste the same from the last time we came, quite sloppy and didn't have the same wow factor as on our previous visits. I'm aware that it is busy this time of the year, staff seemed to be bothered about the custom rather than the customer service.

Great place for Pizzas, where my wife was able to have GF pizza and I had a lunch time pizza, but these are slim calzone’s, perfect for lunch. This was followed by an ice cream and although it was from next door, its all part of the same restaurant! Again they had GF cone’s and a great array of flavours, which tasted great. We had a wonderful day walking up to Rhyd Ddu and back. Beautiful mountain views, wild ravines and through the enchanting Beddgelert Forest. Naturally, once back in Beddgelert we had to stop in at Glaslyn for their delicious homemade ice cream. Of course you can't help yourself once you see the folks outside lounging on the curbside wall or sitting nearby, all enjoying those enticing frosty cones. The ice cream is exceptional and there are so many great choices. You can tell the folks that work there enjoy what they are doing.

Popped in for a breakfast bacon roll last Saturday 2nd March and enjoyed it so much we came back in the evening for the pizza. We weren’t disappointed. Our order was taken by a friendly member of staff at the counter. We ordered the Gwynant with extra Snowdonia cheese and my husband had the Cnicht again with extra Welsh Blue cheese. Ordered portion of chips and they were so good we didn’t need to salt them. My husband is Sicilian and he said the pizza here was better than the ones he has eaten in Sicily. So if you want pizza in Wales with a great atmosphere then this is the place to go. Highly recommend. Dog friendly too as our little dog happily ate the pizza too!! 10/10

We have often had pizzas from here and always enjoyed them, so today, after a walk nearby with my husband and daughter, we dropped in, however we were quite hungry and so decided that a panini may be a better choice as it shouldn 't take so long to cook, how wrong we were! On the menu was a tuna, cheese and onion panini but as my daughter does not like onion, I ordered one without, the girl looked a little confused, as she only knows the paninis by name (Joan! so, I repeated One Joan but with no onion please I also ordered 2 Ruperts (ham and cheese paninis!
