I learned a lesson here about first impressions. We needed somewhere to eat, early evening with a dog. I had my sights set on Dylan's but they didn't have a table. The staff is friendly, the restaurant offers a good variety of draft beers, and there is a free pool table available when food is not being served. We visited during lunchtime and were pleased to find out that we could bring our own food from the town since it was off-season. This worked out perfectly for us. We thought maybe serving eight adults and five grand kids would be a challenge for the serving staff. Nothing could have gone smoother and nothing was too much trouble. They ensured we got all meals and drinks very quickly after they'd been ordered Oh, and the food is really really good and reasonably priced. If we go back to Criccieth we will definitely have a meal and drinks at The Prince of Wales. Lovely little pub in cricceth North Wales with a lovely atmosphere and the food was nice and filling after a walk on the beach. Tried the roast dinner and it was decent, felt the gravy was out of a tub, would have topped the meal off lovely with lovely a nice meat juice gravy. Kids ate southern fried chickens and beef burgers and had no complaints. Also the kids lasagne was nice with a Herby flavour. Sprouts were rock hard though and stuffing couldn't had a bit longer in the oven to give it a crispier edge. Would recommend and will go back .
