"A real gem tucked on the corner in Shirley. I've lived in the area for a couple of years now and am always walking down the main road to get to the CoOp, but I hadn't noticed Romeo on the corner until last week. I had a look at the menu from outside and liked the look of it so decided to book a table on Friday night. It is a very small restaurant, with even less tables due to Covid, but the lighting was cozy and the music made it a really nice atmosphere.I ordered one of their pizzas after being recommended by a member of staff, and my girlfriend ordered the pumpkin ravioli. The food was amazing, especially for the price. The only thing I would say is that the portion size for the ravioli was maybe a little small, but would be fine if you ordered a starter as well.I would recommend to anyone thinking of coming here and will definitely be coming back.Thank you"

"The vegan milkshakes here are to die for! My partner and I decided to check this place out after seeing great reviews online, we aren't vegan, but my partner is allergic to egg so it's nice for him to be able to order anything from the menu without worries. The staff is very friendly and helpful, our waiter was attentive and genuinely caring. There's plenty of interesting good options and as previously mentioned the milkshakes are just awesome. After a filling meal we were still eyeing the cakes they offer and decided to take a slice home, it was lemon, rose and raspberry and it was delicious. We will definitely be back soon and I fully recommend this restaurant, even if you're a meat eater it's nice to try something new."

"Rather a bizarre experience. Restaurant was incredibly quiet for a Saturday night and we were seated right beside the only other table with people dining, not much privacy. Service started really well with waiter very knowledgeable and prompt: starters, mains and drinks were served very quickly, then all staff seemed to disappear. After waiting ages for our main plates to be cleared, we had to go and find them and ask for the desert menu. He asked us if we wanted to take our deserts away with us???? No, we wanted to eat them at the table! We eventually got deserts but not the ones we asked for, but by this stage we just wanted to go. Had to go and find them again to pay our bill. The food was very tasty but the ambience and service let the place down!"

"Despite its old and previous reviews, I must say as a top Google reviewer that this restaurant serves the best, quietest, and freshest piri piri chicken I have ever had in my 10 years in Britain. The owner and manager have done an amazing job in maintaining this place and turning it into a successful venture. The chicken I was served here was the best I have ever had, even compared to popular spots in Birmingham. The wings were full and not skimpy like other places, and the piri burger was also fantastic. Overall, the food was absolutely delicious and I would definitely come back here every week."

"I ordered from this restaurant for the first time this evening and I must say I was extremely impressed. The food here is absolutely amazing and delicious, with great value for money and generous portions. The staff were friendly and the delivery was fast. The food arrived early and piping hot, with the chips being deliciously hot and crispy. The milkshakes were out of this world, thick, creamy, and cold, absolutely delicious. This place is definitely the best for burgers and shakes, putting McDonald's to shame. I will definitely be ordering from Shake and Burger again. "Hello there fellow food enthusiasts. This evening me and my home boys ordered a big bite, we ordered all of our food. And the phone we ordered on informed us that our food would arrive at 7:30 pm gmt And we waited . Fast forward the clock strikes 7:30 no sign of our food. Fast forward even further to 8:10 pm and still no sight of our food so we check the phone we ordered on and it has been pushed back to an 8:30 delivery time an hour After we were told it would arrive and 1:30 hours after we ordered. Me and my home boys were starving. Disgraceful. Truly disappointed, me and the crew have eaten there before and it was splendid but this time food was cold when it got here. "I reserved a table using your website, when we arrived there was no sign of any booking. The waiter was very slow at taking orders and we kept getting wrong food orders being sent to our table I ordered a Mokito which I asked for without ginger beeer, anyway the waiter turns up with a cocktail which contains alcohol and as a Muslim alcohol is forbidden in my religion and on top of that I’m pregnant. I had one sip and the waiter realised it was the wrong drink and quickly took it back and changed it. There was a some sort of party going on and they put us two tables away and It was just to loud. Ordered starters which tasted like microwave food, and then the mains took over an hour to come. Very poor service!"

"Incredible restaurant with the most amazing staff. I made a booking for an early Saturday evening meal and made a note it was for my anniversary and that we’d like a table near the window and the door. When we arrived the owner wished us a happy anniversary and had reserved two tables as she was not sure which one we would prefer. The staff were extremely friendly and we noticed lots of repeat customers come in. We mentioned my boyfriend had a nut allergy and they told us exactly which items on the menus that he would not be able to have. They also said if we had any questions about the food or if we wanted any recommendations then feel free to ask. The food was delicious and great portion sizes, my boyfriend and I had starters each and pizzas each and we took our leftovers home because we were stuffed but did not want to waste such delicious food. The quality of the food was great, I can’t fault anything. They even gave us a free shot at the end of the meal as an anniversary treat. The price of food was very reasonable considering the quality of the food. Will definitely be returning back to this restaurant. It has already made it into our favourites. Thank you to the staff for making us feel so welcome even though it was only our first visit."

I had visited the libanon and since then purchased a taste for Lebanese food, so was really looking forward to it, and...it has not despised! first I thought it was closed as on a Sunday evening, it was completely empty, but started until I left. the employees are really good and will feel very welcome. menu is quite extensive and you can find them with something to their taste. for me I started with the beirut hummus, and the kofka kebab. both freshly prepared in no time, and was very tasty. great prices and will be back safely in the future."

"we had read very good reviews about the green room, me and 2 friends who have not seen themselves for a few years decided to go for the afternoon. we telephoned, booked afternoon tea and paid our deposit 2 days before. when we arrived. the waiter took us on our table and said: “I’m sorry, but the system didn’t update, so they didn’t know that we wanted to go the afternoon.” that seemed very strange when they had taken the deposit from us 2 days ago! the waiter said we had to order from the normal midday menu. after we had eaten our salad! we wanted to order 3 coffees, I asked the waitress if we could order coffee, her answer was: “It’s difficult because I don’t have a pen!” I didn’t reply, there are only 3 coffees and cakes. I then asked about the bill that lasted about 15 minutes when they finally arrived, they had not taken the deposit we had previously paid, and the waitress said: "She must talk to the manager, I explained that I stayed 10 minutes on the parking lot, so she could be fast. When I asked her what happened to the bill she said, they must go into the bar and sort it with the manager. I was very annoyed by the lack of customer service, not only had they forgotten our afternoon, but had also accused the wrong crowd. he was quite arrogant and served other people and let us wait. he said he would take £11 for the mistake with the afternoon! it is a shame that eating and the environment is very beautiful. Unfortunately, the customer service makes this place so much down. it is safe to say we will never return or will not recommend it to one of our friends."
