"We ate in here last night. It was early and clearly although the restaurant was empty, they were busy with takeaway trade. We had the Happy Hour menu and found the food to be attractively served and really very good. The waiters were smart and...friendly, making an effort to talk to us. We don't have hearty appetites these days and regretted not being able to finish our main courses. The waiter kindly allowed us to take the leftovers and packed it up nicely for us. It was just as nice today! Good luck to a very pleasant restaurant which turns out delicious food at very reasonable prices and has such pleasant staff."

"Let's see, walked in and was calm, played music and was served by the waiter who sat on us. Both waiters and managers were kind, they gave us honest opinions about the food, and when they thought something would not fit our range, they told us. The food was fast and the service flew as it should. It is a shame that there were only 3 other tables of 3 and 5. An atmosphere would have created a perfect evening. I say I can't blame food, drink, service or hygiene. The fact that they show a window in the kitchen only builds my confidence that the hygiene standard it in the entire restaurant and not just the front. We will definitely return as I now have one of their loyalty cards and get both offers and points. Maybe we'll bring some more people. On a last note, the manager spoke to us about a Rajesh Khana Tribute Night, would like to go there for this. It seems to be an ongoing monthly event. Can wait until they start."

"The food at this restaurant was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. However, the service was a little slow and inattentive at times. We and another table had trouble getting the attention of a waiter and some dishes were not delivered. It could have just been an issue that evening. "Unwelcoming. Very slow service, had to ask a person who worked in the back who was not a waiter to serve us and he was very nice, if he hadn't done so we would have left. They should employ him as front man! Wrong dish was served. Service was unfriendly, like we were not wanted there. As they served the wrong dish I had to eat my food after the person accompanying me had finished his. Is a large restaurant which is a little chilly, absolutely no effort by the waiters and no ambience, there was some background music but could hardly hear it. Shame because the food is very good and has been since they opened. No good for couples."

"We booked a children’s party here for ten kids through groupon. Booking wasn’t very straightforward as the member of staff didn’t know what we were talking about. We never received any confirmation of booking either. Once we got there we were shown the tables available...for us and the two bowling lanes. We were the only customers in the place so having ten kids for a party should of been easy. First off the constant nagging from the female member of staff put a real damper on the day. Kids are noisy,they run around bearing in mind it’s a kids party. This member of staff was at my side every five minutes complaining about one thing or another. The bowling alley wasn’t great,at one stage the ball actually rolled back up the alley. The food is unlimited on the groupon with pasta, chips and pizza available. The kids were hungry and ate well but we didn’t need anymore food. There were a few left over slices of pizza which I offered to the adults. The female member of staff actually took the pizza out of my mums hand saying it was for the kids,took it away and binned it. When she came to complain to me again I actually told her to leave me alone and requested the manager. There were a few complaints from us about the way the staff behaved and when I discussed this with the manager he just blamed the staff. When I explained that I’m an avid trip adviser reviewer he tried to bribe me with a free game if I gave a good review. It’s a great deal on the face of it but it was a total nightmare. I even opened a tab and spent on top of the party cost as I know the business doesn’t make a profit from groupon,this included food for the adults. The male member of staff behind the bar was fantastic."

"Went here with some family friends for a meal. Been here once before as well. Always great food, I ordered fish pakoras which were perfectly seasoned and the fish was perfectly cooked very soft. We also ordered lamb chops which were sizzling hot as they brought it to us, spices were great and the meat would just tear of the bone so easily. We ordered a few different main dishes, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, saag chicken, and achaari gosht, all cooked to perfection. And a jug of mango lassi which had the perfect amount of sweetness to it. Only thing that let me down a bit was I had to keep calling the waiter when I needed something, the waiters don't really come to your table to ask if everything is OK and if we needed anything else. Overall great place to eat out."

"Just got home after a really lovely family meal here (kids 12 5yrs . Everything was perfect. Spotlessly clean and lovely decor, poppadoms and chutneys whilst we browsed the menu, great selection of food (3/4 of us are vegetarian , water regularly topped up. Staff were all so kind and friendly. We ordered the veg momo's to start which came with a delicious spicy dipping sauce. For mains we had veg korma, shaslick super, pudina paneer and a cold dish I can't remember the name of but it was so delicious. Enjoyed it all too much to take photos! (Our son also smashed his glass and the staff were so kind and understanding. We are only visiting the area but will definitely go back if ever here again. Highly recommend! Nicest meal our we've had in ages."

"I have visited this restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights for the past few months. They serve incredibly delicious pizza and we had a great time with their karaoke. "We have been here a couple of times before. On this occasion I went there about 2pm on a saturday afternoon for lunch as I was driving through Oxford. It was a good place to go as I was able to park my car at the very nearby Railway station parking which offers parking for a full day for about £4. Dosa Park is cafe style in its decor and ambience. Typically for a place like this, it attracts mostly students and asian tourists who are perhaps missing home cooked food. It was easy to get a table and the service is fairly quick. They have an extensive menu. The Idli sambhar I ordered was good except I found the sambhar too hot (taste wise) which is maybe a personal thing. The other two condiments or chutneys were flavoursome. The Idlis were steaming hot when they arrived but they seemed quite hard. They may have been frozen and reheated in a microwave. Still, they were ok. Reasonably priced. Great selection for vegetarians. May stop by here again if in the area. Enjoy!"

"After a few years, I am pleased to say that the food quality at this restaurant is still quite good. I give it a full mark for consistency. The menu offers a simple mix of traditional favorites and specialty dishes. We tried the fried fish tendon and were not disappointed. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable, given the current circumstances. Overall, we left satisfied and felt that our money was well spent. I would definitely recommend this place to those looking for a change from the usual Punjabi or Dosa dishes. "The first thing you realise as you enter this place is: it's full! Then, sequentially, the following truths dawn upon you: a) all the guests are Indian b) there are singers and there is live singing c) all the staff is Asian After this, nothing else matters much. I ordered a tandoori pomfret (noice) followed by mutton kadai with lachcha paratha. Also, a fruit mocktail. The waiters were clearly overworked. My server was Amit, but others helped too, such as Heena and Saurav. The crowds were singing along with the lead singer... Both male, and female. Nice food. Great ambience."
