"Excellent evening, we sat in the Air Mens Bar, which checked the menu and the wine list about an excellent gin and tonic as we were early. A 3-course menu was presented as it was the festive season. Basic choices of meat, fish and vegetarians, but not an extensive menu, unlike the wine list that has a very good selection. The food was tastefully presented with appropriate portion size, some can say small, but it didn't let you flower. We were served hot nuts and warm bread with 3 types of spread, also the blue cheese was declared delicious and we are not fans of blue cheese. We had tomato gazpacho with sun-dried tomato and the blackened halibut. Cod as a net and also Venison, both cooked to perfection. Soufflé on the desert menu and it is always our choice. Also cooked for perfection. Paired with rose from proven E and a pint noir from the Loire Valley, our choice. Restaurant is very nice, tables are not nearby, piano game from the gallery, attentive service, but not over camp. Restaurant was very busy, but you never felt rushed. Tea and coffee afterwards with some nice fours and a night capsule. A really nice evening. Very recommended"

"We had an excellent evening at the restaurant. We were seated in the airy bar area and enjoyed reviewing the menu and wine list while sipping on a delicious gin and tonic. We were presented with a three-course menu as it was the festive season. The menu offered a good selection of meat, fish, and vegetarian options, although it was not extensive like the impressive wine list. The food was tastefully presented with reasonable portion sizes, some may find them small but they didn't leave us feeling bloated. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm nuts and bread with different spreads, including a delicious blue cheese spread which we enjoyed despite not being fans of blue cheese. We ordered tomato gazpacho with sun-dried tomatoes and blackened halibut for starters, followed by cod and venison for mains, all of which were cooked to perfection. For dessert, we chose the soufflé, which was also perfectly cooked. We paired our meal with a rose from Provence and a pinot noir from the Loire Valley. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere with well-spaced tables and live piano music. The service was attentive but not overbearing, even though the restaurant was busy. We ended the evening with tea, coffee, petit fours, and a nightcap. Overall, it was a lovely evening and we highly recommend this restaurant."

"If you were to make a list of the most glamorous and oversubscribed dining spots in London, what would you include? The Ivy, Covent Garden stalwart and default shorthand for an exclusive celebrity hangout, is a shoe in. Ditto Scott 's in Mayfair, where if you manage to get a booking between the hours of 7 and 9 you are surely something above a mere mortal. There 's Sheeky 's, favoured of West End stars and a very lucky minority of their audiences, and perhaps also Le Caprice, somewhere that generally hides a good number of influential and famous notables behind its lace curtains. And all of the above, astonishingly, are run by the same people Caprice Holdings. If we are to measure a restaurant 's success on its popularity and I can 't think of a better way of doing it then surely they are doing something right. It 's all very well having the best food in Britain but if you can 't sell yourself, if you can 't make the whole package of visiting a restaurant an event , something desirable"

"a first visit in this restaurant in plüsch mayfair. at the arrival they were warmly welcomed and welcomed by friendly staff. full marks here. they were properly sitting and served with a basket of different miniskule brot with butter. not sufficient for a table of 6. no refilling or even asking if one was required. a lot of drinks were ordered before eating. it took 3 requests for the drinks to finally arrive, although the bottle sparkling water was very fast. for the net I ordered the set roast beef sirloin lunch and possibly this would have been a very fine meal. there was a pretty waiting time until the main thing is served. the 2 slices of bark and the yorkshire pudding and crusty bratkartoffels looked very well presented and appetizing, although the bark was intermittently fat and chewing – with gristle somewhere in there. very disappointing in the did and out of the perceiving of the customer, this type of bark corresponds to a thing, and that is cheap / bad quality bark meat. they get 2 slices of roast beef and they would hopefully expect to eat the bark meat without fat and chewiness and it was certainly not warm or hot. the yorkshire pudding was large and airy, but was cold and probably left to lie after boiling. the brat potatoes were crunchy, but much too salty. the selection of vegetables was in order, but they were served stingy portions as they were divided under 3 beef diners. a bit misleading, as the picture of the Brat dinner would recommend that they get individual portions of side-narrow. after lunch I needed a 2 draws of ice much. the ice cream flavor was good, but the 3 pieces were very simple and could not justify this amount. I have the tasty with celestial and lemon curd sauces that were nice to taste. the restaurant was full with a good ambiente and the exit itself is very nicely located in a very expensive and plush area of london. that was, if I had expected a high-quality meal that I feared was not the case. the overall experience was expensive and in no way was it a good value for money. No one makes it to pay more than usual to go and eat, but at the same time they expect to get quality!"

"I have been a customer of scoopz for over 10 years. Tonight has got to be the worse service ever. I am honestly so angry and so upset because I enjoyed coming to scoopz. After tonight I will no longer be making my services available. The new staff member has no idea on how to handle customer service. There were two ladies in work tonight and one was a blonde girl the other with long ginger hair. The girl with ginger hair was really not bothered in the slightest she took 15 minutes to make one milkshake (no exaggeration). Despite the long queue outside she carried on taking her time. In the space of 30 minutes of me waiting in the queue she lost out on 15 odd customers who decided to walk away due to how slowly the line was going. I waited in the queue for 30 minutes and when it hit 10.30pm the ladies promised they will still serve the customers who had been waiting. When we finally got into the shop the ginger girl said that she was no longer making milkshakes and they had to go home. She did not care that because of how slowly she was working people were waiting so long and despite being so patient only to be told after 30 minutes of waiting that she will not serve us. I am so outraged and never experienced something such bad service in my life. I get the ginger girl was new and this is why we remained patient. However, 10 years in the customer service industry I do not think she should be carried on being employed. She has lost so much business today and lost so many customers in one day only to think how much she is tarnishing your reputation. I came for a milkshake, waited 30 minutes to be told they are closing when they knew we had been waiting. I will no longer be going to scoopz and urge the rest of you to save your time too as it is not worth it. So upsetting."

"Underwhelming. Sundae was disappointing and nothing special. The ice cream didn’t taste premium. The most disappointing was the jasmine and mint tea. The presentation was so poor at 4.95 it looked like it should have been free. One of the most overpriced drinks I have ever ordered. "We went for breakfast on a Saturday around 11:30am and I put 1 star for service because unfortunately there was only 1 waiter there doing everything bless him, must have only been like 18/19 years old. Management you need to understand that heavenly desserts will be busy on a Saturday morning especially when there’s a Christmas market so make sure you have enough staff on the floor and in the kitchen because we waited 30 minutes to have our order taken and when we eventually got our food the waffles were cold and they’re usually warm and crispy. We saw quite a few people leave as well. I’m not bashing heavenly desserts because it is fantastic but the management need to be more organised"

"Went last Sunday for the parent folk festival. The location is great, so much outdoor seating so perfect for race day and or good weather. The play area here was so good, the kids played for ages before and after we ate. Service was a bit unorganised considering it was a big event and they should be used to hosting so many people during the racing festival. This is likely due to poor staffing. Can’t fault the food it was lovely, I had a steak roast which was so good. Lovely carrot and swede mash, the roasties where lovely the Yorkshire pudding on the top was massive. Kids menu meals where great options and well priced for the location. Will 100% come back with the kids in the summer for a lovely roast and a few drinks in the beer garden."

"Additionally, the menus were taken away after we ordered, leading us to ask multiple times for service when we wanted more drinks. We also didn’t receive enough napkins—only two for six people. The cutlery was scattered in the center of the table and there wasn't even enough for everyone, so some had to share a fork for their ice cream. "I 'm not proud of how many times I 've been in here since it opened but at least I can say they 're consistently awesome! The owner/manager/guy who works there a lot (I 'm not sure sorry) has always been super enthusiastic letting us know of good combinations. "I recently had the pleasure of trying the gelato at Marine Ices and it is hands down the best gelato in the city! My parents used to frequent this place back in the 70s, and I am thrilled to see that it is still around. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making every visit a delightful experience. While there may be other places with a larger selection, none can match the quality of Marine Ices. The variety of sorbets is also worth mentioning. "Vegetarian Vegan Options WHAT I HAD: Tumeric Vegan Chai £4.00]; Sri Lankan Lamprais £10.50] – (Vegan Mutton A historical Sri Lankan and Dutch influenced rice and curry served in a banana leaf with beetroot, aubergine, cashew nut curry and onion relish. I was in Camden pretty early in the morning, so most shops weren’t opened yet. I across PamBan and it had an interesting menu (coffee and hot food? Yes please! , so I decided to have my breakfast here as I was really hungry. You order and pay at the counter, and it will be served to you. I had the Vegan Sri Lankan Lamprais with Tumeric Vegan Chai. The Lamprais was very flavourful with an interesting combination of sweet, savoury and spice (it’s not spicy though if you’re afraid of spice . My mum enjoyed her mutton Lamprais. However, I felt a bit cheated with the Vegan Lamprais because it’s essentially the same but without any curry. Without any substitution to a non-vegetarian (Chicken/Pork/Mutton Lamprais, this makes the vegan Lamprais dry and way more expensive (it is the same price as any other Meat Lamprais . As much as I enjoyed the mix of flavours, I wouldn’t recommend the Lamprais if you’re getting it vegetarian/vegan as it just doesn’t justify the price. Even the meat Lamprais, I do think it’s a bit expensive as well as there wasn’t a lot of meat in it according to my mum. The place is spacious and airy, with a soothing and warm atmosphere. The staff were really friendly, helpful and attentive. We enjoyed our coffee and chai. Overall, the Lamprais we had was flavourful and unique but overpriced for what we got. They do have a lot of other interesting dishes on the menu and baked foods, so I will possibly visit Pamban again if I am in the area for good Chai, Coffee and snacks. If you are thinking of trying Pamban, do keep in mind that the prices are slightly higher compared to other stalls in Camden Market, but it is one of the shops/café in Camden Market that has nice spacious and comfortable seating if that’s what you are looking for."
