"I used to come here regularly with my family in the 90s 00s. In those days it 's wasn 't particularly expensive, just hard to get a table. Pre Covid I 'd visit two or three times a year for a treat and we were always made to feel special. We decided to treat ourselves again in early January to ward off the blues. If it didn 't have the 'brand ' attached I 'd have felt it was a very average restaurant. The front of house staff were rude (not quite as bad as the ones at The Ivy Chelsea Garden but close) and passive aggressive. It was very busy at the front desk and I suspect the blockage was the wait staff not getting tables ready quickly enough. However, it was stupid to take it out on the people who 've just arrived. Then our waiter was a bit dippy. Very unusual for The Ivy. One eg he let both our glasses of wine empty and it took ages to flag someone down to fill them up (I 'm quite happy to do it myself but didn 't know where our wine was). Then the bloke who filled mine up wasn 't listening when I twice said 'that 's enough thank you ' so I had a large beaker of white wine to get down before it got warm. Also one of the loo seats in the ladies loo was completely detached. I daresay they are all knackered from a busy festive season or had a lot of agency staff on. But it 's not what it was and no longer value for money."

"Staff were very attentive and checked on us regularly throughout the meal asking if we needed more drinks etc. the food is amazing, we ordered a variety of dishes to share between the 4 of us so that we could sample as much as possible. The squid portion was generous and tasted delicious and the bang bang shrimp were also really good. We had the bulgogi beef skewers and aubergine skewers both were tasty but the beef ones were very flavoursome and my favourite dish of all. The desserts are also really tasty passion fruit cheesecake was deconstructed and has a hidden layer of passion fruit sauce underneath to add extra zing. The only fault would be the cookie dough would have benefitted from more ice cream as it was a little sickly after a while."

"Very disappointing experience. I love PF Chang in the US so I was excited to find it in London and see my favourite dishes on the menu. That was as close as it got to the real thing! Lettuce wraps were too smoky. Chicken dumplings were tasty. Mongolian beef chewy and seasoning was all wrong with a lot of raw spring onions thrown in and that was it. Orange chicken was very soft and sauce gluey. Both main courses felt like they’d been sitting on the side for too long before being served. We were not offered a second drink despite our glasses being empty from after our starters. When I ordered my first drink, I had asked the waitress that I was interested in 3 cocktails and asked her opinion which she gave and it was delicious. A savvy waitress would have come back to see if we wanted to try the others! She also didn’t offer desserts or coffee so we had desserts elsewhere. It wasn’t a bad experience, just disappointing. Will not be returning."

"We were upstairs almost on our own so the ambiance was negligible. We had the pre theatre menu which sounded reasonably priced until you realised that add ins (eg chips) were extra on some choices. My fish and chips was good and the puds were large tasty portions. My coffee was great but my husbands was cold. We probably won’t go back. The service was excellent!!!"

"We decided to have a last-minute dinner at this restaurant. The crab pops were delicious, as well as the seaweed and the tofu burgers."
