Fantastic food and great service from Shezy. Go there and enjoy. We had salmon from a recipe from Marocko and beer and cider. Delicious.

Elegant and stylish. Service is impeccable. And surprisingly well priced. I was expecting to pay much more for food of this quality. The bar is incredible. The decor and atmosphere luxurious and relaxed. Will definitely return.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We arrived early, around 6pm, and it was quiet at first. However, by 7pm the place started to fill up with patrons, as it was a Friday night. Our server, Niroshan, was very attentive to our needs and took our orders promptly. Well done, Niroshan! We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future. View menu

The last time we dined at The Ivy, we brought along our Argentinian friends who can't stop talking about the delicious shepherd's pie they had. This time, we began with the duck salad and duck liver parfait, both of which were fantastic. The salad started out as a typical oriental dish but with the addition of ginger and watermelon, it became something much more unique. Our main courses, the Sunday roast beef and roast cod, were both outstanding. It was a great reminder that even though the menu may seem familiar, the way The Ivy prepares their dishes takes them to a whole new level.

We were seated at a table next to the cash register and behind the food serving area, which was a tight fit for four people. We felt rushed by the waiter to place our food order even before our cocktails had arrived. Two of us ordered the Chicken Milanese and found it lukewarm and lacking in flavor. The other two opted for the vegetarian jackfruit curry, which was also lackluster and left us unsatisfied. The waiter never checked in to see if we enjoyed our meal, and our conversation was disrupted by staff members chatting near our table. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and none of us plan to return in the future, despite having visited the restaurant before.

We booked The Ivy in 2022 for our company Christmas Party 2023 for 49 guests (7 non alcohol drinkers) which everybody was really looking forward to and everybody did have a good night, however, at the end of the evening we were presented with the bill and to be totally black and white, was ripped off!!! If we had actually consumed the amount of alcohol charged for (small example to name a few of the drinks 32 X Nyetimber, 86 X Expresso Martinis, 42 X Fullers Pride, 48 X Pornstar Tini multiple X multiple other drinks) we would have been hospitalised!!! I admit I love the Ivy. Pre theatre dinner at the Ivy followed by a great West End show is just about my ideal evening. We booked a table pre theatre one midweek night (it’s a peak time so please book). On arrival I felt the greeting was a little brusque compared to normal but I suppose that’s a bit picky. Our server also neglected to offer drinks whilst we ordered which resulted in starters, bread and wine all arriving at once. Thereafter, service was excellent. We had the set menu generous portions of selected items from the a la carte menu. Tasty and good value go no further. An unbelievably shocking experience from start to finish!!! A nice enough place, ok staff. But they tried taking our food order before offering us a drink. That’s fine, mistakes happen. Starter came- barely warm soup. Not impressed but I’ll let that go. But then they gave me the wrong main meal, sorry but ravioli and risotto do not even sound similar! I ate the wrong meal as I wanted to eat with my husband, leaving part of it. No sign of a complimentary drink though as way of an apology! I used to come here regularly with my family in the 90s 00s. In those days it 's wasn 't particularly expensive, just hard to get a table. Pre Covid I 'd visit two or three times a year for a treat and we were always made to feel special. We decided to treat ourselves again in early January to ward off the blues. If it didn 't have the 'brand ' attached I 'd have felt it was a very average restaurant. The front of house staff were rude (not quite as bad as the ones at The Ivy Chelsea Garden but close) and passive aggressive.
