"Downloaded the app. Nothing worked. Ordered at the bar, paid £2.25 extra for beef on my burrito bowl. When it came out, there was literally 5g of beef and sauce added to the smallest burrito bowl I have ever seen. The bowl itself was fine. But if I had paid just £10 for the bowl itself, as standard, I would have been furious. But then having paid £2.25 for an extra 5g of beef. After asking for an opinion from the staff (who were extremely helpful), it sounded like they either agreed and didn’t want to comment, or didn’t really know what a standard protein portion on a standard meal should be. Ground beef is cheap. Slow cooked ground beef is low maintenance, cheap easy to prepare. My concerns about the portion sizes were confirmed when I was brought out a 2nd portion of the beef… which appeared to be no more than 10g of beef (if you were being generous), and a lot of sauce. For context. At home, you could make 500g of the same thing for around £5.00… and as a business, buying at wholesale, bulk prices, you can make it a lot cheaper. So even if you were serving a standard portion of protein 20 30g for an adult you’d still make money, if you were buying wagyu ground beef from waitrose. If you are looking for decent food… give this one a miss. The service and drinks are all standard for a chain pub, its just the food that is a scam. Staff were 10/10 though, and brought me out a 2nd portion, with no drama. But even 2 portions of that beef wasn’t really enough protein for an adult. And there was far too much sauce to cover the fact that there was hardly any beef"

"Hello to the team who were working today. This is just to say a big THANK YOU for the lovely lunch and service we received today whilst celebrating my parents 66th Wedding Anniversary. The food was delicious, my mother hasn't eaten a 3 course meal for about 2 years, she did today! (My sea bass was lovely...and the sauce! It was a great surprise and a delightful touch to have their desserts served on a specially decorated platter, thank you so much, the perfect end to a lovely meal. I must also add that the staff couldn't have been more kind and helpful, we moved table, took ages to make decisions, we never felt rushed and always felt looked after. "the first time here. a lot of choice and much more interesting than the usual tex-mex offers. we shared appetizers, among them also really tasty pork bell-skewers with an ananas salsa (anticuchos) and a cheese fondue with crispy carrot cubes. the salat (fiesta ensalada) was a large mix of sweet, pickle and seeds. my main blazin bird huh was really well boiled (think nandos but better) and the sweet kartoffel fries were excellent. my flaming hot Habanero sauce was 't spicy enough for me, but I eat vindaloo and really love spicy food. "the venue took a booking for 8 a.m. to dinner, but at the arrival at the venue I was greeted by the security, I told them I had a reservation and they pointed me in them I asked them where my table was and was told me that I didn't know that it's usually someone to take them to their table, but nobody was there. then someone else told me that they turned it off now. So I wasn't having a table and made to run the road that is looking for somewhere to eat. Why take reservations when their restaurant turns into a nit club and all tables are taken away to make a dance floor."

"First time at the restaurant. We had cancelled our original reservation. The restaurant reached to ask why. I was impressed by that personal customer service so we booked for another night. We had the Burrata and ‘Nduja Topped Foccacia, the Lasagna and their signature dish, Penne Giardiniera. My husband and I both thought those dishes were average and probably wouldn’t order them if we go back. There are many other interesting dishes we would try though. The service is excellent and we hat was very nice. Some of their baked goods look good and we’d like to try breakfast there."

"Great atmosphere and excellent TV quality. The food was nice and good. All staff were very friendly. However, bar service seemed pretty slow. It was a busy evening, but often there were two or three employees who spoke to each other, and served a person who was a little annoying when you tried to watch a football match again. One of the bar employees did not seem to know how to pour beer, fill glasses with almost pure foam! That didn't happen to the other."

"beautiful night at this place, my friends and I booked for what we thought would be just a few drinks, but the karaoke was so good we decided to stay. not only the staff took care of us very well, but the karaoke host was also very friendly. the prices are fair for london, the quality of the sortiment seems more on the market, so they really pay for what they get. they definitely recommend this place."

"Although we initially made a reservation online and were later informed on the day of our booking that it had to be canceled due to personal and cooking issues, we were subsequently told that the reservation could still be honored. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The food and service were excellent and surprisingly quick, given how busy they were. "The restaurant was closed. We rang the number on the door but there wasno response or answer machine. We waited for 15 minutes before leaving. I had confrmred our reservation by text (which I am charged for). No one contacted me to say the restaurant was closed or afterwards to aplogise. I contacted OpenTable twice on their website but noone has contacted me since. I am really appalled at the poor service and lack of any follow up."

"The best burger I've had in London. As others have said it's very quirky in the best way. Staff is great they helped me navigate the gluten free menu and they took the extra time. Grilled Halloumi was so fanstic. The Cauliflower Wings we really nice as well. Since I am gluten free I ordered the Bacon Cheese burger without the bun. It had the crispy bits on the edges and the outside was had that nice burger crunch to it. While the inside was nice an juicy. One of the best sounding items on the menu was the Philly steak pie. Sadly, they were out of it and my husband didn't get to try. My husband said that if we lived in London near the pub we could see this as our neighborhood pub. The selection of music playing was awesome. They have darts and very large booths, nice to kick back and have some drinks while hanging with friends. if you find yourself in the area you mst stop here for some food."

"The restaurant does not offer table service, requiring customers to download an app where the menu does not match the paper menu. Many items were not available, and the payment system was unreliable, resulting in having to order at the counter. Despite being told that mac and cheese was unavailable, a friend was able to order it through the app. Overall, the service was disorganized and the food was average, arriving suspiciously quickly as if it had been reheated. Will not be returning."

"The ‘big bagel’ was nice enough as were the chips. Sweet friendly waitress. Please do not order the nachos-they are flavourless and in my opinion the tortilla chips a little stale. Was a little hard work trying to get someone’s attention for the bill. I think they could do with one more member of staff to keep things running more smoothly eg clearing tables, wiping down seats and supplying the bill more promptly. I voiced my opinion at the time re the nachos but was met with a vacant stare and a ‘no ones ever complained about them before ‘. They bizarrely offered to take 10% off the cost of the nachos. A more commercially savvy response would have been ‘so sorry you didn’t like the nachos Ill take them off the bill as you’ve barely touched them. Hope to see you again next time’ There’s lots of competition in the area who in my opinion offer waaay better service. I believe the owner was behind the counter at the time who took no ownership of the situation-that was a shame but hey ho that’s why some businesses succeed and others don’t stand the test of time."

"Yeah I like it here, I was passing by and decided to give it a go. I liked the atmosphere but the cider I got was quite wierd; it had a nice fruity flavour but it was completely flat, first time I had a flat cider I don't know if that's the way it normally is or there was something wrong with it on that day. But I liked the big selection of drinks! Plenty to choose from."
