"A waiter came to take our order. We asked if they had pitta bread or something similar. Another waiter came over to put down a free bread starter. But the first waiter said something to the second waiter and he took the free bread away! We noted other tables were offered free bread upon seating. We queried why ours was taken away. That's the reason why they are getting 4 stars. However, apart from this..The food was nice enough and looked really great too. We did get some bread after 4 attempts."

"Fantastic food and EFES beer, what more could a girl want?. I'm not the type to write a review, this is my first, but felt compelled. I go here a lot, am going tonight in fact, I take all my friends, and they then take all their friends. "Unclean Premises When we arrived at Chapati Junction, all the tables were stained with food, many with plates and food debris still remaining. We sat at a dirty table but the staff made no effort to clean it until being explicitly asked. Improper food handling the staff member on duty conducted a call on his mobile phone while simultaneously preparing our food. Food only partially heated We ordered 2 veg samosas followed by 2 vegetable curries with rice. The potatoes were warm on the outside but still cold in the middle. The overall temperature of the food was tepid, lukewarm. The food had been partially heated by microwave into the ‘danger zone’ but had not been heated thoroughly. When this was raised with the staff on duty (as soon as we could get to the counter after another customer had ordered), we were told that the food wasn’t heated thoroughly because “some people don’t like it too hot”. Hair in food there was a thick, grey hair in the food, matching the exact length and colour hair of the staff member who prepared it. Aggressive staff When questioned about the hair, the staff member became aggressive and told us it was a slice of onion. Forced Payment In light of all the issues above, we did not feel safe eating at Chapati Junction and tried to negotiate a partial payment, i.e. we would pay for the samosas which were fine, but not the unclean, lukewarm mains. The staff member continued to be aggressive and told us we were trying to “rip him off”, so we paid in full and left."

"The chicken shish was so disgusting it tasted like the grill they cooked it on, they saw that I didn't eat my food and did not even offer me anything else as a good gesture the staff was very rude and they tried to pull a sneaky one and keep quiet after you pay them and not give your change until you ask for it. AVOID THIS PLACE! Went to that place 17/05/2024 time was 16:45 there was tall guys he very rude asking for manager tall kitchen guys said he is onwer of the restaurant very very rude guys I never see he just try to attack me to avoid this place there are so many restaurants in East London why would I go? he can't even speak properly"

"There really aren't any good quality Turkish/Greek restaurants in Norwich. This is the only one and I've been looking for years. The food is good. The doner meat is proper meat, not squished together chicken feet and cattle anuses. They have a proper charcoal grill too, the shish must be amazing so I'll try that next time. We had two lamb doners to takeaway... it comes with a little salad in a box, lots of Turkish bread and some garlic and chilli sauce. Very unusually it also comes with rice. They're £12 each which is a little pricey for a lamb doner but you're getting so much more, and everything is more expensive now... it is totally worth it. The portion was excellent and we really enjoyed everything we had. It really is the best kebab in Norwich. The restaurant itself isn't particularly pretty so if you're into fine dining it's probably not your scene but the staff are genuinely very friendly, seems like a family run place. The bread comes chopped up, would be nice to get the option of having some whole Turkish breads or some pitta to make it all into kebabs when we got home, it probably is if you ask though. This is now my go to place for takeaway when I'm in Norfolk!"

"My husband and I never even made it through the door thanks to the offensive and incompetent waiter. Upon arrival we were greeted with the words “unless you’ve booked you can forget it, and if you do want to come in the future you need to book” We obviously did have a booking but why on earth would you say that to anyone arriving at a restaurant. Instead of pointing out the obvious we decided to quietly walk away, not the best start to an evening."

"dinner time, which was ok, but not unforgettable. we had not realized that a building dancer would occur and while she was very good, the music was very loud. this is not a place to go for an intimate meal and I would recommend it is better than a midday restaurant. the personal is beautiful, the venue itself is a lot of a kitchen experience in contrast to a restaurant and eating was beautiful, but not fantastic. that's probably not a place we'd be going back to."

"with la’de kitchen is nothing wrong, but there is nothing so fabulous that jumps out. it is in the ground turkish with a European whirl — goat cheese mixed with butter, for example with warm flatbread as a pre-starter the bore was a little oily and lacking of fine and vine leaves were ok, but a bit of bland. the mains were better. the lamb schish filet was juicy and cooked to perfection — but at £20 they would expect it to be. it is quiet, so a good place to catch for a chat — but does not really make it with regard to value ratio."

"I just came back a little after trying another two g of home. the other twog was excellent so he increased my expectations for this twog. they don't understand me wrong, eating was still great, but the other industry must be the place where I had one of the best burgers I ever had. it's expensive for a burger menu, but I'm ready for the quality of the other twog. I was a little disappointed about the way these young people did it. everything else was nice, so they still get a 4* rating."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"I was surprised by the size of the place, it was tiny. When we walked in me and my friend were not welcomed, actually when a worker did manage to appear from the dark they complete disregarded us and lead the group behind us to a seat. The group behind us, said to the waiter that we were actually in fact before them and had actually RESERVED a place. His response was shocking, just ignored and even told my friend to move back away from the tables that were empty). This was extremely rude and unprofessional. Then as we were finally sat down and ordered, the waiter told us it was no good ordering a starter, main seperatly as the restaurant is busy so we don 't have time to keep coming back to be frank I 've had better customer service at Chicken Cottage! Just rude and unthoughtful. Then when things couldn 't get worse the waiter came back after 40mins! To tell us that we will still need to order again because he didn 't get our order. Meanwhile another group of friends that arrived a good 30mins after us were well tucking into their mains. What a disaster. We should have left. It continues.. Then my friend left to go to the cash machine to get some cash out. I didn 't have a problem with that but I didn 't see anyone else told the same thing probably though we were maybe dining and dashing because that was strange). When the food finally arrived, I was beyond hungry to even taste the food, or the lack of it. We ordered Chicken shish and another Chicken dish with vegetables and yogurt. As we left, we both agreed we had an upset stomach, due to the food. Maybe not but it could be as we both said at the same time, that we felt sick after eating that food. Do not visit here. "A great little Mediterranean restaurant in Muswell hill... We booked for later Saturday afternoon and it was very quiet when we arrived, but it started filling up slowly. Kami and the team looked after us very well, making some recommendations on menu choice, and always being there, without being intrusive. We started with the shared mezze and it was great, very tasty , then I had the mixed grill which was huge. Really enjoyed the meal, in an unhurried and very relaxed setting. Thank you."
