"Went for lunch and found that the food and service was of high quality. They catered for my wife who has an egg allergy and even discounted her food which is unheard of, in these times. The staff were very friendly and professional and although the Sunday menu is limited (understandable due to the pandemic), the food was great and good value for money. They also had a live musician who was brilliant. We will book again and try the more varied menu in the near future. Also the location is a few minutes from Regents park and ideal for a lovely stroll afterwards. finally, thank you to the staff and management for making it a lovely experience at THE NEW INN."

"I am impressed by how effectively they have combined a restaurant, nightclub, and rooftop bar into one cohesive concept. The upscale atmosphere permeates every corner of the establishment."

"staff just did not want to be there. they didn’t know how to work the heaters, couldnt decide where to put the host stand, looked at us funny when we asked a question about the menu. the decorations outdoors were nice but inside was dark and dreary. food was mediocre, the french toast was good but cost around £13, they brought out one small piece of toast. the egg burger was just average, just a brioche bun with scrambled eggs with a few green chillies sprinkled around inside the egg. no garnish, no side, nothing to make it special. absolutely not worth it for the price."

"This restaurant is now called Dolce Italia. We had a table for 5 and were really impressed with both the food and service we received. The fish soup had a tasty bisque quality with fresh sea bass and fresh warm bread. The mushroom crostini looked good and tasted better. Caprese salad was fresh looking and yummy. Mains were also excellent. Belly of pork melted in the mouth, chicken milanese was moist with generous spaghetti in tomato sauce, with fresh tomatoes running through it. seafood linguine had lots of sea food, all perfectly cooked. Desserts were also good. I had the panna cotta, lovely wobble and beautiful taste. Also great value for money, with wine sensibly priced and affordable. Would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be returning."

"Food Filosophy offers fresh and simple yet very tasty Greek food, making it the perfect spot for an easy Saturday lunch. They also sell authentic Greek products like olive oil, which adds to the experience. The owner, a lovely lady, always warmly welcomes us into the shop. Highly recommended for a relaxed and delicious dining experience! Ευχαριστώ πολύ!"

"The staff at the restaurant were unfriendly and we had to request menus as nobody came to greet us or take our orders. The prices for the food were high and it took 20 minutes to receive a drink. The pub itself was lovely but the atmosphere was lacking."

"What a wonderful time we had. It was my partners birthday which the staff did not until after we arrived but they produced a small cake with a candle. We were offered seconds of beef and Yorkshire puddings and cheese to follow our dessert. The meal was delicious, the staff achieved a perfect balance between attentiveness and not being pushy, the wine was excellent and the surroundings were so comfortable and relaxed. We will definitely be back. Many, many thanks."

"came from Spain to visit london for some days and my purpose was to taste every single Mexican restaurant because I love Mexican food, so I went to some of them in the center of london, but nothing like this place, since the moment when I went into the beautiful girl with curly hair, was super nice to me and she offers me two possibilities. I choose to have a place in the bar. two hours later I was still there because the young at the bar spoke to me that I had nice and interesting talk about tequilas and various types of ghosts. in the ground I spent a whole day drinking different times of tequila and mezcal and with the best chicken Fajitas I ever tried, I loved this place so much and I will...more"

"The atmosphere was decent, with a typical French blend of elegant permanent decorations and tacky tablecloths and accessories. We tried the flat iron steak, requesting it rare, but it was cooked all the way through with no hint of pink. The olives and bread seemed like they could have come straight from the grocery store. Overall, the food was a bit underwhelming. The prices were reasonable, and we were able to get a table last minute on a Saturday night, likely due to the large amount of seating available."

"We want to express our gratitude to Christine, Lisa, and the team at The Cranleigh for making our wedding reception in June absolutely amazing. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful in organizing the event. It never felt like they were focused on charging us the highest price, but rather on making sure that everything was tailored to our preferences. Christine went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly on the day and was always available to address any requests or questions. The dinner was delicious and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it, as well as the buffet and midnight snacks (bacon sandwiches and chips). The staff were attentive, polite, and made sure that everyone felt welcome and well-fed. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend The Cranleigh for any event. "We chose this restaurant because of the Menus online looked great.. On arrival we were given a different, very limited menu. We were told it was the ‘Christmas menu’ and that it had been on the website for a few days. This wasn’t the case. I had looked at the website the day before and there was no mention of a ‘Christmas’ menu. There were pre-theatre and a la carte menus. There were only 3 starters and 3 mains to choose from on the menu we were given, and they weren’t very inspiring. We asked if the chef could do something different but we were told no. We didn’t have time to go elsewhere so we stayed. The portions were really small. The service was slack. Our glasses sat needing to be refilled often, the waiter was not observant and needed prompting by the more senior waiter. There was no atmosphere and I won’t be recommending this restaurant."

"A few weeks ago, my husband and I decided to stop by the restaurant at the hotel before heading to the Royal Albert Hall. We arrived early for our reservation so we went to the bar across the restaurant for some pre-dinner drinks. The staff...there was lovely, very attentive and the cocktails were superb. We thought we were in for a great night, but when we moved to the restaurant, it was a disaster. First we didn't got our drinks served for ages, with the waiters not understanding or even being able to explain anything at all. On top of that, they were the total opposite from the bar staff, very rude and chatting with themselves instead of attending the tables, making not only us, but other clients irritated aswell. When the food finally arrived it was actually quite good, but we felt uncomfortable beacuse we felt rushed to finish and go, like they where desperate to finish the service. We tried to understand that maybe they were in a difficult situation or understaffed, so when my husband asked for the restaurant manager to explain the situation, he was very rude, not paying attention at all, like he didn't care. He brought us the check quickly and threw it on the table. It's a shame that we got that treatment. I remember going to this restaurants or years ago, and the services was extraordinary. I hope they can bring it back to what it was. For now I'll just get food at the cocktail back if I ever go back."

"Booked for New Year's Eve. £69.99 per head. Service adequate but I have to say the food was not good. Pre prepared and not fresh. The amuse bouche was a piece of French bread with smoke salmon, more like a badly done canape. The Starters were accompanied by limp salad, the plates they were served on very cold evidencing they had just been sitting uncovered in a fridge. Very odd rock hard goat's cheese, and for others, 3 tiny pieces of dry sardine. As for the main, beef wellington, the fillet of beef overcooked and resembled a piece of shoe leather, I doubted it was even fillet. The pastry was raw on the inside and undercooked, and soggy on the outside. Think had been pre cooked and microwaved. Worst beef wellington I have ever seen. We all sent back and chef offered rack of lamb.Sadly this was presented raw, not rare, with huge chunks of broccoli, soggy roast potatoes and carrots. Those who ate fish said was adequate, but the spinach and ricotta filo main had by one was also raw and underdone. As for the apple tart, again some received ice cold from the fridge, others luke warm although the flavour was good. Actually spoilt New Year's Eve and we left hungry. What was even more annoying is that I believe we were not charged for 2 bottles of wine, but were expected to pay for the nasty food. I would rather have paid for the £60 wine. I will be contacting the restaurant owner for a full refund, minus the wine. I can't believe we were actually charged £75 a head for the meal, pretty disgraceful in my opinion. We actually doubted whether there was a chef in the kitchen......"

"I booked this 2 months ahead but there wasn’t a table ready. When we asked it was like they were doing us a favour by allowing us to sit together. Of all the red wines on the menu they only had 1 available, so no choice. After 2 couples left we were the only people there. The food, however, was really good. Beautifully cooked and presented"

"We made a reservation at the Butchers Arms for dinner with my father. We had frequented this restaurant numerous times when it was under its previous owners. My father is quite difficult to please, and we may have set high expectations. Overall, I would say everything was satisfactory, but the unique touches that made it stand out were no longer there. The expertise of the sommelier, the pre-dinner drink at the bar to peruse the menu and select wines, and the dessert trolley were all missing. The food was decent but didn't reach exceptional levels, and my father's dish was poorly presented and not worth the price. The venue itself was lovely, and the woman in charge was friendly (even managing to handle my father's complaints better than we could), but it didn't live up to what it used to be, leaving us feeling a bit disappointed."
