"Food was pretty good, as it always is we've visited maybe times over the years.Service was a real let down this time: it took a while to get someone's attention to place our food order. We ordered a side with our mains, which was missed, so by the time we chased and waited for it to show up we had almost finished our main courses. After dessert, we declined coffee and asked for the bill after minutes we flagged down another member of staff who then brought the bill....but we had to wait another minutes and get the attention of a third member of staff to actually pay it.I feel sorry for the couple on the table next to us who were seated when they arrived, and waited so long to order drinks that the chap had to get up and mask up to go and find a member of staff to take their order.They've always had an interesting, highquality menu at the Butchers Arms, and service was typically great, even when they were busy. Maybe this was an off night, and I understand COVID restrictions have made life more difficult, but the staff just seemed not to be paying attention to their customers.Disappointing"

Haven’t been for a few years so wasent sure what it would be like but was very pleased we went...the food Was delicious and service was very good...couldent fault anything...also felt very safe with the Social distancing etc that has been put in place..plenty of room in between tables...would highly recommend and we will definitely be back
