"First time at Tapasya so.... Booked for a Monday evening and as expected, and like most restaurants, will always be quiet, however, three tables covered so some 'atmosphere ', the staff were very attentive and friendly, and the food really was delicious. Unlike most Indian restaurants the menu is quite small, so they can make sure each dish is very good and freshly prepared. The web image is for 'Indian fine dining '. Yes, it certainly seems to be! I haven 't tasted Indian food as good as this for a very long time, nor had napkins placed on my lap in any Indian restaurant! The waitresses just glide up to your table and replenish your drinks without you realising they have been there. Will definitely return in the near future, good stuff."

"Another wonderful Friday night with Sunny, Ryan, Ray Ikbal. Situated in the heart of Solihull town centre and just across the road from Solihull church. This wonderful restaurant is situated in a former mansion (grade 2 listed) and has some low beams that add to the character. The staff are only too willing to help you with your choice of food. Don’t be shy, if you don’t like your curry too hot! The staff with only be too happy to point you to the right dish. Being a vegetarian can sometimes be a challenge for me when visiting restaurants. But not at Panchuli’s. If you like your curry hot then try Pumpkin Spinach Madras or if you like it mild then Paneer Tikka Masala and there’s number of other curry’s in between to suit the most discerning customer."

"My husband and I have been to The Painted Heron which is now called TPH not sure why the name was changed as the original is very nice many times. "A friend and I went here the first week I was in London. It was my first restaurant experience, and I was glad we chose Indian I have heard all the rumors about London food, including that Indian food is supposed one of the best cuisines offered. Since I love Indian food, I was excited to try it.We arrived before the dinner rush and were the only two people in the restaurant. We had chosen what we wanted after only a few moments, so we shut our menus and waited. And waited. We ceased talking as we waited. We were sitting by the windows and the waitress was on the other side of the restaurant at the bar, texting, not paying attention to see if we were ready. It was quite frustrating to be the only people in a restaurant and still take more than ten minutes to place our order.She finally realized we were ready and after this blip the dining experience became much more enjoyable. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala rice and naan do not come with the mains, and each cost more than two pounds which makes the meal kind of expensive, but it was really amazing. Some of the best Indian food I've had in a while.The decor of the restaurant was nothing special and if you didn't already know it was Indian cuisine you wouldn't be able to tell. The food was great, which is the most important part, but if I wanted to come here again I would probably order it to go."

Pakora had a crystallised overcooked taste special requests in the special comments box were ignored wasting peoples meal. I struggle to understand why special request boxes are on the website when places do not adhere to these requests. Not one person had a meal they felt was worth paying for from people. The positive rating of was only for the delivery."

"Honestly the fish and chips was nice but the order was wrong twice! Ordered honey krona with pilau rice the first time the driver came he gave me the curry but no rice I got chips and cheese instead then when we phoned and told them about the mix up they sent me plain rice. By the time the rice got here my korma was cold."

"A fantastic restaurant, with great food and equally amazing service. I ordered a paneer tikka to start; the portion was quite large for a starter but not too big. It was full of flavour and even had a bit of a kick. The butter chicken was perfect, with the chicken being lovely and moist. Service at the restaurant was fantastic, I asked for a straw and the waiter couldn't find it and then 2 members of staff came and apologized for not being able to find the straws which made me feel like the restaurant really value their customers."

"We went to celebrate my daughter getting new job and took her here for her first visit and she really enjoyed it. We both had our usually lamb Rogan josh which is must have for me and my wife has the chicken makahani so that left my daughter who went with the chicken tikka masala and all three were great dishes. I would recommend if you like spicy food to try here some tine"
