"As always, the meal I ordered from Ramsgate Tandoori this evening was absolutely excellent. It was hot, of good quality, delicious, and there was plenty of it. Unfortunately, my josh spilled in my purse, causing quite a mess when the lid came off. A large portion of my meal was lost in the chaos. Despite that, I'm still happy. Excellent food from wonderful people."

"I was here as a kid for dinner with the father. It was very exciting when the railroad went up. I like the atmosphere very well. Cocktails are delicious and on the map I tried a lot about the time. I find filet, burgers and wraps best. Spare Ribs were not tender enough. had to use the knife to get you apart, but good from the wort."

"I am a regular, but will not return. I thought I would try her brunch menu there were 6 of us. service was shocking, not attentive, spent the majority of her time in the bar in the deep talk. ordered pancakes (2 of them) and they were like naanbrot. when we complained, they said they were doing them thick .. that we pointed out that it was difficult to cut them with a knife and fork. they took off the pancakes at the end. my friends ordered a sausage as extra, but they came to see not in the least appetit. there are much better places to brunch."

"Visited today with family for a Father’s Day meal. The food was delicious not to mention the 241 cocktails. The venue was decorated for Father’s Day with balloons, candles and flowers on the tables and each dad received a box of chocolates and a dad badge which made it extra special. Anna and the team are super friendly, hard working and go the extra mile so a BIG thank you from me! Can’t wait for the next visit!"

"During the last year I visited the Minores a few times, each time happier than before, and every time, my expectations continue to be exceeded. At the last visit we ordered a Sharing plate, it was absolutely tasteful, well presented and more than enough for two. Besides the delicious food, the ambience was fantastic, although my team had lost the last game this night, I never felt gloomy. Last but not least, I would like to mention the leadership team, the friendly effective well-looking manager took care of all the people who did this evening and make sure everything runs smoothly, and everyone is happy. "When we arrived, we couldn't find our booking. Luckily the restaurant was not busy and our party of 7 we were almost immediately sitting thanks to the manager. while pleasant our waitress was noticeable due to their absentness during the meal. additional drinks and additional foods were requested by other employees as they were over. Eat excellent, although we find that the portions shrink with each one we make. instead of expensive if they have a discount voucher or code (which we have). the entire ambiente is quite bad at this visit. Unfortunately, the latest news seems that this is still a different restaurant chain in difficult financial terms, which affects personal moral badly. this is a scandal, as we love eating and if the service it would tip not the staple prices."

"My friend and I were enjoying some drinks when we asked for the TV to be changed to the football game, which we look forward to watching every Friday and weekend at this restaurant. Carmenella, one of the bar staff, quickly took care of it without any issues and even offered us more drinks at our table. It was a very enjoyable experience and we had a great time."

"I had a fabulous lunch at Murdos with the girls! The food was amazing—delicious mac and cheese, tasty waffle fries, and the Katsu chicken was fantastic. The fish and chips were good too. We ended up chatting for over four hours! When we arrived, the place was bustling with groups enjoying lunch, and it was filling up again for dinner by the time we left. Overall, a great experience!"

"this was our second visit and the standard of the food has decreased considerably. we had the same as before, the smokeys platter. the ribs were hard and overlooked. the brisket dry and chicken leg bland. the black rate was the best on the plate. the plate was also smaller than before. the service was not present, we had to ask for cutlery for our eating. we were not asked how our food was or we wanted more drinks etc....the atmosphere was very quiet. we could hardly hear behindground music. Unfortunately we won't come back, we were a group of six couples."

"The staff and service were really great BUT unfortunately the food was not. The coated prawn starter was sad to say the least, the prawn substance was no more than 5 mm long. THE FISH CHIPS WAS BAD. YOU NO LONGER HAVE COD. Instead it was flat, all skin batter ONE STAFF CALLED IT HADDOCK, ANOTHER CALLER IT POLLOCK WHICH I BELIEVE BUT IN ANY CASE IT WAS DISGUSTING. I do not send food back to the kitchen for obvious unspeakable things that kitchen staff have been known to do to it. "This spacious pub has a lot to offer in terms of facilities. It may feel a bit out of place for some, but it has a decent selection of drinks including all the usual options. It has a sporty feel with several TV screens, at least 2 billiard tables, and 3 dart boards for entertainment. It may not be suitable for those looking for a traditional style, but I would recommend it to others."

"This used to be a great place but after the other day, I can only put it down to 2 things. The health inspector was in putting the staff off or the staff completely screwed up both pizzas. I ordered a hot one and I’ve no idea what I got. No chillis just olives and mushrooms and bits of what I think was spicy beef. My wife’s was not what she ordered either. At least the onion rings were correct. The pizza base also seemed chewy in the sense it was rubbery. Not good."

"Visited the sefton today after not being in for a couple of years. Was surprised to see only 1 member of staff working in the entire pub??? The lady whose name I noticed on the till was Kate . I must say even though it was busy for 1 person to be running the whole pub on their own she was very professional . We ordered food and was told of the wait time for it to arrive . We ordered drinks one being a pot of tea and even though Kate was busy we where surprised when she said I will bring to your table ASAP. Food arrived which we throughly enjoyed. I had a lasagne which was very tasty . We received a checkback from Kate even though she was working on her own under pressure . We felt our custom was welcomed by her . Our plates where cleared swiftly when we had all finished . We stayed for an extra hour due to the level of service Kate provided not only to us but all the customers in the sefton at the time. We saw her interacting with I presume regulars . It was only when we left my son said you do know that lady ie Kate worked at wetherspoons ? Got to say Wetherspoons loss is the seftons gain . I just wish the poor girl had another member of staff working with her and she wasn't running around serving,greeting everyone on her own."

Don’t ask questions at the bar as they can’t be bother answering or explaining. And when they bring you food there was no word said. Slammed the sauces caddy on the table and walked off. She probably wanted to go back to be sitting down at the table with the other waitress drinking coffee. Yes, it was visible.."

"I just wasn’t satisfied with the Hotel itself. No spoon to stir my tea/coffee with (in the room) No initial towels (even though I asked for extra and they replied promptly) It’s a decent place once you arrive and looks nice but I ended up finding someone else’s underwear in my room. Had to call front desk for towels Shower head was taped down (was leaking from the sides). Very boring room, unappealing but the view was probably the best. The bed felt nice. Granted they are under renovation but you’d think they would take extra care of those staying there. Not just some £10 voucher. The worst is the keys. Hated opening my own hotel room because you have to Jimmy it a few times. Don’t like the big hall pass attachment to the key either. Doesn’t fit in pockets or anything I look forward to the new improvements and will not be staying unless I stay in a new bedroom."

"the first time in england and wanted real English fish and chips. the pub was clean and tidy. pool table and various edges to entertain everyone. the young tattooed dame behind the bar was friendly and helpful with my asking to the menu. the chips. were in order, but needed salt and ketchup to add taste. I appreciate the fact that the fish were not made over the diligent, but not a real taste again. had to add lemon and other spicy to make it better. the Burger options looked interesting and may require a second visit."

"Terrible service, waited over an hour for food despite there only being 6 tables occupied. After being told over and over again our food was ‘on its way’, ‘was next’ and ‘was in the lift’, we waited a further 15 mins before seeing a deliveroo delivery heading out of the kitchen. Deliveroo was clearly prioritised and we were constantly being lied too. Can’t comment on the food as we never received it. When asked for a refund, they were incapable of refunding onto our card, so we’re given 8pound cash, when our meals were over 20 pounds. We had to do the maths for them so could refund properly. 2 other tables also complained, 1 also requesting a refund, which took a while. And to top things off there was no loo roll in the toilets. Wouldn’t go back, EVER."

"We stopped by this pub as a regular meeting spot for our group, not because it is particularly good, but because it is convenient. However, recently, the atmosphere has improved and we have found ourselves staying longer due to the staff being more friendly and engaging. We even joked with one of the staff about the absence of the unpleasant manager, who is apparently on holiday, which has made everyone happier. Last Saturday, instead of just one drink before moving on, we ended up staying the whole night, enjoying plenty of drinks and food. With a bar tab of nearly £60 per round and having had 8 rounds, the pub definitely profited from us being there. The manager should take more holidays, as the pub is much more pleasant and profitable without him around."
