"We had a lovely meal here. Two adults two kids. Kids menu was decent. Me and my partner had the bang bang chicken to start which was lovely! Both had the fillet cooked medium, sides all really tasty and home made chips and onion rings! The only thing I didn’t like was the guacamole (I know guacamole with steak but I love avocado! it honestly was the most horrible thing so pale in colour and smooth as anything it was clearly out of a bottle and not homemade. But that’s personal choice I guess! I would definitely eat here again the flavour on the steak was unreal!"

"have been here quite a few times but it has really gone down hill. The burgers are not as nice now they are no longer cooked medium (either that or all of our burgers were over cooked) every thing seems to have shrunk service was really slow in terms of taking orders and bringing drinks etc. Hoping we just got a bad day to be fair its the first time we have been and the food was not up to scratch."

"The ambience was excellent and we were very surprised at the fact it felt more like a snug local Italian than a chain restaurant in the heart of the West End. Staff were friendly and welcoming and food very decent, certainly significantly better than the Strand branch. After we had paid the manager approached and politely asked for a favour could we move to an adjacent table while we finished our drinks, so that they could put some tables together for a larger group due to arrive? We were happy to oblige and to my pleasant surprise, two complimentary limoncello shots duly arrived. Not expected but appreciated. Would definitely eat here again if we are in the area"

"We did receive complimentary drinks—a Diet Coke and a tea—but unfortunately, the food order also encountered issues. My friend ordered a Jerk Chicken Burger with gluten-free bread, but just before the food was nearly ready, we were informed that they had no gluten-free bread available. Thankfully, our friend was okay with having the burger without bread, as the food was served just two minutes later. If he had wanted to make a different choice, they would have had to restart the order completely. We also requested a glass of tap water that never arrived. When it was time to settle the bill, the server mentioned that she had applied a small discount to account for the missing gluten-free bread. I believe that if it weren't for that discount, we would have raised concerns about the Jerk Chicken itself, as it was not what we expected. Instead of a proper burger, it was just a few strips of chicken that resembled goujons. Lastly, when the bill arrived, she brought the card machine with her, expecting payment before we even had a chance to review the bill properly. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience."

"We had our first meal at Sammy's last night and what a fabulous evening! The welcome by the owners Sam and Becky was warm and friendly to both us and our dog Beryl. We sipped delicious expresso martinis and then ate a gorgeous meal (trump burger and sirloin steak) great ambience, food, drinks and service thanks guys! "Felt like we 'd been mugged!. We went to Cafe Mode last Saturday afternoon and had a starter and a couple of burgers. Starter of Doughballs was okay, but noting great. We had two gourmet burgers for mains. Burgers were overcooked and nothing special. The french fries were okay. To look at the menu we were expecting a bill of around £28, through various crafty additions, £3 for the bottle of water on the table, extra £2 for goats cheese on a burger which came with cheese etc plus a manditory service charge) they had upped it to £43. "This pizza and pasta restaurant is quite chaotic, and I say "pasta" lightly. The penne pasta tasted like a Tesco value brand, poorly cooked with a sauce that my 8-year-old could make better. The staff didn't seem to be familiar with their own menu, and couldn't differentiate between the arrabbiata dishes with or without chicken. They also tried to convince me to upgrade from a £30 bottle of wine to a £62 bottle, which I found cheeky considering the wine could be purchased at Tesco for about £9. To top it off, they added a £20 service charge to the bill. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant as it seems to be a tourist trap and overpriced."

"Lovely meal for our first visit to Asha’s to celebrate our anniversary. Food was really nice, We would say £20 for the curry dishes is far too high priced they are simply a curry in a bowl, When we were seated we were offered poppadoms and chutneys as expected, the waitress replenished our small pot of mango chutney for us, when the bill came we were shocked that the poppadoms, dips and ‘extra’ mango came to £13.00!! Ambience of the restaurant is nice, I felt the lights should be dimmed a bit for a more relaxed vibe, and tables too close to other guests. We couldn’t enjoy a conversation together as we were literally side by side to two other tables, Like we were the same party. Overall, We enjoyed our food, service a little slow and food over priced, A nice meal but we probably wouldn’t return for that reason."

"Having booked a table for 3 a week before during the government eat out scheme, we arrived at the restaurant sharp 6.30 pm as per the booking. We were asked to wait outside and it had started raining.I was asked for the name and booking details. The staff brought the book and could not find our booking so went to ask the owner. The owner came with the book and told us someone called and cancelled our booking and she could not do anything about it. We tried to say why would we do that and she was not willing to listen. The restaurant may have cheekily cancelled our booking if they had shortage of tables. Never again shall we go there. Worst customer service.."

"We used a Groupon deal for a meal at 6:00 p.m. The menu was different from what was advertised, but we were still able to order the steak with the deal. There wasn't much else on the menu that caught our eye, so we all ended up ordering steak and chips with a peppercorn sauce. We also ordered a fresh fruit salad for myself and a sundae for my son. The portions were generous and everything was freshly prepared. Overall, the food was tasty and the service was friendly and attentive."
